Neville: Henderson a Disobedient Dog
Scarborough Lions boss hits back
After facing the press after the game against Aston Villa, Scarborough Lions manager Gary Neville hit back at Jordan Henderson. The Lions midfielder heaped pressure on the Lions boss, and ever since, has been avoiding the press. But today, in an exclusive interview with FourFourTwo, he shed some light on the situation.
"Jordan Henderson? At the moment he is being very unprofessional, and justifies my decision to not have him as captain. He is like a disobedient dog. After saying no, he just misbehaves instead. This is no way that a footballer should be like this."
He also took the chance to have a swipe at the leagues referees.
"They have robbed us. Several late penalties, free kicks and lots of extra time that isn't needed. And every time, we concede. Like in the Villa game. We had 4 minutes of stoppage. There were 7, and no stoppages in that 4 minutes. We could have quite easily conceded. They obviously don't want us in the league."
