Bristol City win the Barclays Premier League!!!

Robins manager Andrew Booy has guided his young side to their 1st ever Premier League crown. It is the Bristolian's 3rd division title in 5 years and the first Top Division victory in the club's history.

The Bristol City supporters will be able to celebrate in style on the last weekend of the season when runners up Tottenham Hotspur visit Ashton Gate. Spurs lost their game in hand against Man Utd in midweek so the result on the final day won't matter and Bristol City will lift the trophy in front of their home fans.

Fans and Managers player of the year award

Winner - Julian Draxler

It was a fantastic season for the German left winger who is the unanimous player of the year winner in his 1st season at Ashton Gate since his 38.5 million pound transfer from Schalke in the Summer. The 24 year old started 48 games this season, scoring 9 goals but getting an incredible, record breaking 23 assists. His season was capped off by being named the 2017/18 English Footballer of the year and being shortlisted for the World Golden Ball award.

Gabriele Allegri 24 million from Atalanta

Allegri is a 17 year old wondered striker from Italy. He has been touted as possibly the best potential forward in the World. He will start this season in the U21 squad and hopefully in the future will progress into the first team squad/team.

Ricardo Viotti 6.75 million from Velez

Viotti is an 18 year old Argentinian central defender. He has potential but has a long way to go if he is to reach it. Will develop in the U21 squad this season.

Giuliano 13 million to Valencia

The Brazilian midfielder only was at Ashton Gate for one season since his Free Transfer signing last summer. He played a total of 28 games for the Robins, only 13 of them as a starter. He scored 2 goals and got 5 assists for the club. Due to a sell on clause in his contract Bristol City only receive 6.5 million pounds of the 13 million pound transfer fee.
