Manager's review
Andrew Booy named his strongest possible 11 for the FA Cup Final. Ricardo Gomez could not take a place on the bench through injury. Man City had a fully fit squad to choose from but surprisingly left a number of starters out.

Hajji is a 16 year old defensive midfielder who holds an Italian passport. He will spend the next three years with the U18/U21 squad where he will learn to play a central midfield role.

Durante is a 16 year old striker. He will spend the next three years with the U18/U21 squad.



Nihat Koc 700k from Nurnberg



Koc is a 14 year old defender centre. He will spend the next four years with the U18/U21 squad.

Youri Tielemans 23.5 million to AS Monaco FC

The 23 year old Belgium international was at City for four years but never played for the club. He was loaned out to R. Sociedad, Wolfsburg, Chelsea and Valencia during his time at Ashton Gate.



Alex Mint 10.5 million to Southampton

The 19 year old came from Bristol City's youth academy but was never going to get into Andrew Booy's star studded squad. He has spent his entire career in the Bristol City U18 team.

Manager's review
Andrew Booy named his 1st team for his 4th consecutive Community Shield appearance. Esteban Gabriel Jesus Bogado was representing Argentina at the Olympics so Ricardo Gomez started in his place. Chelsea also had Kerim Koyunlu away at the Olympics in their only absentee.

Eder Alvarez Balanta has left Ashton Gate after 6 seasons at the club. He signed in 2015 for a fee of 2.5 million from River Plate. The 27 year old had slightly regressed this summer so a bid of 43 million from French side Monaco was too good to turn down. In a corresponding move Andrew Booy has recalled Eugenio Hernandez from his loan at Inter Milan and promoted him to the first team squad.
