The club are pleased to announce that the performance of the team did not go unnoticed this month, with striker Leonardo Ulloa and manager Donald Vaughan both making the individual awards shortlist. Vaughan came 3rd in the Manager of the Month section, while Ulloa came second in the Player of the Month competition.
I think that you can be in reach of the 2nd spot, but playoffs is still good enough
Great update, hopefully you can sneak an automatic promotion place!

Arsenal Announce Link With Brighton

Arsenal Football Club are delighted to announce a new partnership agreement with Sky Bet Championship side, Brighton and Hove Albion.

The new partnership will begin with immediate effect. The two clubs have agreed to a partnership that will last until Brighton reach the same division as Arsenal, unless either of the teams wish to cancel the affiliation. Theoretically, this partnership could be over very soon, as Brighton have already secured themselves a Playoff spot, and are still in with a chance of achieving automatic promotion.

Brighton will be paid an annual fee, and will also have the opportunity to take some of Arsenal's unwanted players, or players that the club wish to send out on loan to aid their development, on loan. Their will also be a friendly match held between the two sides in every pre-season during the partnership.

Brighton are thought to have selected Brighton as the club to link up with as a security measure, so that the coaching team will be able to reinforce the squad for another promotion push next season, should they eventually fail in their current bid for Premier League football.
Beneficial partnership I guess, though you'll end up getting Bendtner.

We must congratulate and thank our manager Donald Vaughan and the whole of the squad. We've made a late push to get into an automatic promotion spot. Now we just need to beat league champions Nottingham Forest away in the last game of the season to ensure we will be playing top flight football next season. So we urge you to get behind the team for the final clash. Come on you Seagulls!

It is not just us who have been congratulating Vaughan this month, as the 27-year-old has won his third Manager of the Month award this season.
Oo, hopefully you can get a good result against Forest in order to get automatic promotion! GL
YOU CAN DO IT :D
Hope you get automatic promotion, good luck.
Operation promotion is a go!! LET'S GO, LET'S DO THIS!!
Good luck with automatic promotion!

Nottingham Forest vs Brighton and Hove Albion

Stephen Ward played his last game for Brighton before the end of his loan spell - but has he helped The Seagulls to promotion?

Brighton knew that anything other than a win against league champions Nottingham Forest would see them lose out on automatic promotion, assuming Huddersfield won their game against Watford. If The Terriers lost, or even drew their match, however, Brighton would be promoted regardless.

Nottingham Forest XI vs Brighton

(4-4-2)de Vries; Lichaj, Gomis, Hobbs (C), Harding; Schoenecker, Lansbury, Blake, Ledesma; Sinclair, Cox.

Substitutes: Darlow, Elliot, Majewski, Wilson, Mackie, Abdoun, Fox.

Brighton and Hove Albion XI vs Nottingham

(5-4-1)Kuszczak; Manolev, Strandberg, Greer, Calderón, Ward; Crofts, Stephens, Buckley, López; Ulloa.

Substitutes: Brezovan, Bruno, Andrews, Rodríguez, Chicksen, LuaLua, Stokes.

Brighton were very much the in form team in the Sky Bet Championship, having gone seven games unbeaten heading into the match at the City Ground, and winning five of those. Kazenga LuaLua wasn't picked in the starting XI, despite his recent form. But after 27 minutes, it would seem that the Congolese winger was not as vital as many fans thought his presence would be when Will Buckley slipped in behind the defence to net the opening goal of the game. Brighton had dominated until this point and the goal was deserved. The half time whistle blew, and many Seagulls fans really began to dream when the news came through that promotion rivals Huddersfield were 1-0 down at Vicarage Road. This meant that Brighton would be able to draw, or even lose, should the score remain the same at Watford.

Half time came, and LuaLua was finally introduced - to a huge cheer from the away supporters. Anthony Stokes also replaced Leonardo Ulloa. And LuaLua sealed his place in club history when his form continued. He netted a late goal to put Brighton into the Premier League for the first time in 31 years. The news from Vicarage Road gave fans greater cause for celebration - Huddersfield had conceded a second.

The scenes in Nottingham were emotional when the full time whistle was blown, with both sets of fans joining together for an applause for both teams, before the Brighton players were surrounded by their loyal fans. Brighton will be playing Premier League football next season, and what an achievement this is for the team.
Congrats on getting promoted! :D
