Dude, Messi is the best player in the world, unlike Ronaldo who would run at a player, do some stepovers and fall over with "injury", Messi runs at 3 of them, runs into them takled over, gets up and gets the ball or skins them.

yeah he can do that, but his talent to change games in an instant is quite the same as ronaldo's which makes ronaldo the best player in the world

I would prefer Messi, Ronaldinho if he gets back to what he was is up there to, he had that ability in loads, I remember against Real when he ran pretty much the pitch and scored.

But the english are arrogant, they won one world cup, in 1966, the next year Celtic won the champions league, we however don't think we should be winning it every year. I will admit that you have a fantastic team but they are now where near as skill full as the Europeans or the South Americans. They put far to much pressure on their team, thats why you fail, thats why it hurts so bad. You need to get rid of Lampard, Hesky bring in Carrick full time, Young, all the good young skillful players that are out there. Thats why the english are so hated around the world, that and the hooligans.

and italian and serbian hooligans are worse than english.

Arguably the english league is the best but no offense I would rather watch Brazilian league day in day out, or spanish or italian, however they are not shown over here.

really? i mean the italian is alrite to watch, but not every match. the brazilian league is not that good, some matches are.

but the spanish league is absolute shite, have you seen how bad they defend? how non passionate their players are and fans are? have you seen how massive the difference is in economy and such between teams in the top and the bottom in the spanish league?

Do you really think Barca would have it easy in the premier league? i mean barca are a great team and all, but they wouldnt go on to have an easy time in the premier league, because in england the players defend better, more determined, more passionate etc. also the difference isnt too huge between clubs in the premiership compared to the spanish league.

In recent years spanish teams have really struggled against english clubs. Prem football is fast and very physical, spanish players arent used to it.

Ronaldo moving to R.Madrid almost confuses me after watching them play Liverpool, they made them look very average for one of the top teams in the world.

well they aren't one of the top teams anymore, now the first galactico era is other.
but the second era looks to be on the horizon.

the prem is just soo much better! its a lot quicker and engaging.

watching some european games, i get bored. its slow build up and i agree with red the defending is useless. not even the italian teams are defending decently like they used to.

look at the relegated sides from europe, they are horrendous compared to the likes of newcastle, middlesbrough etc

im english and i agree that we put too much pressure on the team everytime a tournament comes around.
i admit we have a good set of players but we lack in certain area's when out first team players go out.
i must admit though we have argueably the strongest midfield in the world at the moment with the likes of lampard, gerrard, barry, carrick, young, walcott, wright phillips, beckham, hargreaves [if he ever recovers], lennon and then more which i believe are all capable of succeeding at international level.
