xtremeganesh : Lets be honest though, sure Man City are moving up in the world, and theyve made some huge and truly ridiculous bids, but theyve hardly set the transfer market on its head.

Barry - £12mil (Fair price? I think thats reasonable, last season Villa had him at £18mil)
Santa Cruz - £18mil (Over priced a little, but its not huge; look what he did at Blackburn in his first season)
Tevez - FREE!!! (A bargain, his wage demands are well within their means.)

Ok Adebayor may be coming too, but theyre hardly blitzing the transfer market buying every player they want for double the money. Thats Reals job.

im just thinking what will man city will do with 9 strickers? and wich one the manager will send to the bench? robinho and tevez are for 1st team for sure. . . what about bojinov, santa cruz, bellami, caicedo, jô? money talks higher. . .but its killing the treu spirit of a football TEAM!
It's not just the transfer fees Man City are paying, there's sign on fees , wages too. If you look at the speculation about them signing Terry , £40million for the player and then £250k a week wages , that won't include bonuses , thats £1million / month , that's frigging ridiculous. You can look at the transfer to Real and say the same.

You can see the effects when you look at all the speculated prices getting banded about like £80 / £85 million for Ibrahimovic , Ribery , £40 / £50 million for Villa.
but city wont go into debt like madrid madrid dont have alot of money as they are borrowing alot 250K is nothing to the man city owners as they have more than 100 Billion

I don't think Tevez was free because he was owned by a company and the interested clubs had to like 25 million pounds, I think...

but madrid are spanish institution, they will never go into debt.
they make a £350m profit in a season, and even if they did go into the red, they would be bailed out immediately.

so they will survive forever, spending insane amounts of money on any player, inflating the market
Downing to villa for 12 mill agreed fee

Cissoko to Lyon agreed fee

Zamora to Hull agreed fee (5m)

Ive said this before in these forums, its ridiculous.

I reckon he'll play a 4-3-3. His strikers will be Robinho playing AML, and then Adebayor, Santa Cruz or Tevez taking up FC and AMR. I do however think that Hughes wont play a player if hes in bad form, like with Robinho, so the attack will change around a lot.

Jo is on loan, and i think by the end of the season theyll look to get rid of him, even at a loss. Bellamy wont get many games and will want to leave. Bojinov will go (maybe to Everton if they cant afford Jo?), Caicedo will go, Ched Evans will definately go.

You could be right actually, but even if that is the case I would hardly call £25million for Tevez too much, and yeah his wage demands etc would be big but there are certainly many more players out there who will still be payed more, even players who arent at City or Real.

Not only are Real huge, tshirt sales and outside business usage brings them millions, saying that they are an institution isnt far from the truth.

Real Madrid is government backed, as are Barcelona. Effectively this means that they have access to large sums of government funded money, because Spain recognises that Real are so huge, the club is an embasador for the whole country and its tourism. Thus they are provided with excessively high resources from tax payers money.

yeah last time perez was around the government bought there training ground for millions because they were in debt and then madrid bought it back from them for penny's!!!
the most wellknown football journal here in portugal is saying that caicedo from man city is coming to sporting cp cause they have sign another stricker. . .adebayor? i went to the man city site, but no info about this. . .anyone knows anything about these two rumours?
I know nothing about Caicedo, but hes a decent striker, and likelihood is that he wont stick around at City for long, theyre bringing in much bigger names so a move to CP would be completely possible. Not heard anything here though so cant vouch for it.

City have confirmed at press conferences that talks with Adebayor "are at an advanced stage"; hes recieved a work permit and has passed a medical but personal terms are still being discussed apparently. You rarely find out much about these things on the respective clubs website. Sky Sports News and BBC are where its at for the most part.
the official site only gives you comfirmed things which sucks
It's being reported in the Sun over here. See thesun.co.uk.

Thats not true, their revenue is over £350 million. Profit is revenue minus costs so their profit is considerably less than this. It increases every year but off the top of my head i think last year their profit was about £80 million.

Also United have signed Mame Biram Diouf
Super deals and super transfers....in last 24 hours....................!!!!

Lucio Bayern Munchen to Internazionale (i like this player but Van Gaal dond believe it) 8.000.000 euro

Ibrahimovic Internazionale to Barcelona (Inter takes Hleb loan and Eto'o) 40.000.000 euro

Downing Midlesbro to Aston Vila 12.000.000 euro

Bastos Lille to Lion 18.000.000 euro

Is the lastest hotest deals in summer transfers
Mame Biram Diouf seems to be a good buy, at two years in molde (his first 2 proffesional seasons) at the age of 19 he scored 38 goals in 73 appearences which I believe he is a good buy for the future, and we all know why sir alex had to make the transfer despite him saying that he will not make any more.
