Boruc back in action after spell on sidelines

Southampton have confirmed that Polish goalkeeper Artur Boruc will be fit in time for their clash away to recently promoted Queens Park Rangers - the former Celtic goalkeeper hasn't played since The Saints drew 1-1 away to Arsenal, and has been forced to sit out four matches since picking up his injury at The Emirates Stadium.
After Boruc pulled his hamstring towards the end of the Arsenal game, veteran goalkeeper Kelvin Davis was forced to step in for the next few games, and the 37-year-old looked assured for the majority of his time in the net, but it became clear that the presence of Boruc was needed, particularly after their cup exit to West Bromwich Albion on penalties, and a home loss to West Ham United in the league.
Boruc is keen to get back into action, according to Southampton manager Ronald Koeman, "Artur was understandably disappointed to miss out on some key games for us. I'm pleased that Kelvin [Davis] did what was asked of him, but he knows that we need Artur in the net to succeed, and Kelvin is happy to be a backup. Artur has been putting extra hours in at the training ground, working very closely with Vince Bartram, the goalkeeping coach, and I've got the physiotherapist keeping a close eye on him, and he tells me that he is fine to play. I'm cautious about starting him against Q.P.R but Artur says that he wants to play, I've been told that he is ready to play, so it does look like he will play at least some part in the game. Whether that will be as a substitute or a starter, I don't know yet."
You're doing well mate! Great win against QPR!
I hope you will continue to develop great English players from the Southampton youth system!
Another really unlucky month mate
It seems like the team is finding it hard to gain momentum, I think the priority is to maintain a mid-table or top 7 finish, then next season n begin surprising people :3

Koeman sacked - Dispute over club finances sees Southampton manager leave club

He may only have joined the club in late June, but Dutch manager Ronald Koeman has been sacked by Southampton owner Katharina Liebherr.
Koeman, 51, had seen his team perform rather inconsistently, and at the time of the termination of his contract, The Saints were sat in a lowly 15th place in the Barclays Premier League. The sacking comes after a meeting between Koeman and the board - before the meeting, the relationship between Koeman and his employers was reportedly very healthy, according to a club insider.
Specific details of the meeting have been kept under wraps by Southampton for the time being, but Koeman is thought to have asked Liebherr to increase the transfer budget that he had available to him as the January transfer window opened, but the German owner refused, and Koeman was not happy.
The information was leaked to the media, reportedly by Koeman, who was clearly furious about the decision. Koeman said the following:
"I had thought it obvious that we needed to improve the squad following the bad start to the season - of course I take responsibility for the poor results, but Katharina didn't even give me a chance to try to build the squad again - the money was there following the sales of Lambert, Lallana and Shaw earlier this year, so I don't know what was stopping her from allowing me extra money to spend."
Following the leak, Liebherr contacted Koeman and demanded to know why he felt the need to criticize her decisions in public. Koeman didn't try to defend himself, and told Liebherr that she should sack him if she was not going to go along with his requests - and sack him she did. Koeman is reportedly looking out for other job openings, but will this tarnish his reputation as a manager?
