Bill Ding - I was very disappointed with the boy's performance this game, I want to see an instant improvement from Dunlop.
Chris P. Bacon - I was expecting fireworks in this friendly, with a convincing win but we got the exact opposite. I am very unhappy with the board and the decision to hire someone as inexperienced as Dunlop.
Dan Druff - This was a very convincing win for the boys and a much better performance. It was just really good to see the boys scoring goals again.
Hugh Jass - It was good to see my team putting the ball past the keeper and the solid performance at the back to keep the clean sheet.
Pat Hiscock - Another good performance, liking the new formations that Dunlop has been playing and he is starting to shape this side.
Oliver Sutton - This performance is starting to get me excited about the season ahead, another new formation and another good performance.
Will Wynn - A good ending to the pre-season and it is looking all good leading up to the season.
Tess Teckle - They better take this form into the season. My husband will not be happy if they don’t.

How they could win the league - Wolfsburg are always a team that you don’t rule out until the end, they fight hard and never give up. They are playing European football this year and that will allow them to expand a new era of their game. If they are going to win they are going to need the likes of Naldo, Luiz Gustavo and De Bruyne to be effective.
Teams that will stop them - Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Bayer 04 Leverkusen and FC Schalke 04

AUGUST REVIEW
WOLFSBURG vs FORTUNA KOLN
3-0
This was a month of ups and downs for Wolfsburg. Their first official performance against Fortuna Koln would be one that got the fans excited for the rest of the season; some terrific goals from Rodriguez, Arnold and De Bruyne really got the team going and they dominated that match. The team was very positive and excited heading into the next fixture, the first Bundesliga game against Werder Bremen.
WOLFSBURG vs WERDER BREMEN
1-1
The Bremen game could have gone either way as both teams tried to play attacking football. Werder Bremen seamed to have the game under control until they conceded, they never looked like conceding, but they just did thanks to a great solo effort by Ivan Perisic.
WOLFSBURG vs PADERBORN
2-0
The next game against Paderborn was another performance where Paderborn controlled the game for the first half an hour and put one past Wolfsburg, but they went downhill from there, allowing Wolfsburg to score two before half time and then after the break Wolfsburg went into their shell and did not come out until they had the three points locked up.
WOLFSBURG VS GLADBACH
1-3
The next two games would be the ones to forget for Wolfsburg however, as Dunlop started to come under fire from the fans, first was there 1-3 away loss against Gladbach, a superb hat-trick from Brazilian Raffael made sure that Wolfsburg would not win this one. He started his goal scoring in the 2nd minute and not even a superb goal from Depay would stop him from putting two more away inside the space of two minutes, it was a superb solo effort and the Gladbach fans would continue to scream his name.
WOLFSBURG vs HSV
2-0
The next performance was easily the more disappointing one of the group, since the first whistle, Wolfsburg never looked in the game and what ever chance the did have in the game the goal late in the first half by Lasogga ruled any it all out. It was a very disappointing performance from a Wolfsburg team, that to be completely honest, had the stronger line up. I am sure that after this performance the team morale would be very unhappy.

Public Friendly Discussion
Win vs Fortuna Koln.
Jack Doff - I am very happy that Dunlop could get a good result in his first competitive game, I am sure that managers would be happy with that.
Tad Pohl - It was a terrific performance to start off the official games, I believe that we have a great chance in this competition
Draw with Werder Bremen
Tarnya Ass - this was a pretty boring result, a good couple of goals from both sides, but not much else happened in the game
Mike Hunt - Another game where both teams had a chance but neither could finish them, pretty disappointing
Win vs Paderborn
Willie Leak - A really Wolfsburg performance this, good to see this club playing like it should and making sure that they got the three points
Woody Forest - A great performance and result, makes me want to keep watching them play
Losses Against Gladbach and HSV
Harry Dicksonballs - two very poor performances that make me just feel horrible to watch, really disappointing stuff and a few poor choices from Dunlop, need an improvement ASAP. May Day - NEED BETTER FROM THE CLUB, JUST NOT GOOD ENOUGH !!!!!!!
Good start to the month but a disappointing end. At least you got a relatively easy Europa League group. Keep it up.
Aidan LEGEND Backs Struggling Dunlop
LEGEND has taken control of the Atletico squad that are the current reigning LIGA BBVA champs
Atletico Madrid's manager Aidan LEGEND has provided some support for Dunlop, who has come under fire from the fans after the team's performance in their past couple games. Most notably the losses against Werder Bremen and HSV. The fellow Australian LEGEND is also a new manager at his club, but has found better luck at the start of his tenure as manager. When asked today about his relationship with Dunlop he replied "We are great mates, we were when we played in England and we were close friends as kids, we are both very lucky to get where we are". He was then asked more questions regarding Madrid, but when the subject turned back to Dunlop and Wolfsburg he came under more intense question asking. When he was asked how much longer he though Dunlop would be manager he completely backed his friend "I believe that Dunlop can lead Wolfsburg to glory. If he doesn’t do it this season he will keep working, that is the guy he is. He was always very good at getting over the few losses he had and get them back on the winning side."
Dunlop has since had a replying press conference, with the press asking him what he thinks of the support he has been given by LEGEND, Dunlop replied with "I am very thankful of what Aidan has said, but I am more worried about the fact that after just a couple of unfortunate results, that the fans are wanting my head. I thought the Wolfsburg fans were better than this, I was expecting more from them". Dunlop was also asked of what he thought of Aidan and his team Atletico, "I have always been a large fan of Spanish football, and Atletico have always struck me as one of the teams that play just that 'Spanish football', they are a very quality side and have some extremely talented players. They are also very lucky that they are headed by a very talented manger in Aidan LEGEND. "
Aidan also pointed out that it is all a bit strange that only a few games a manager has his position in trouble. He was disappointed with the Wolfsburg fans, saying that "You need to have more faith in your manager if you are going to get anywhere".
Atletico are also LEGEND's first venture into management, like Dunlop he also was appointed manager at the start of July. He is very good friend's with Alexander.
