FORSTER-CASKEY SET FOR SEASON LONG LOAN

-Forster-Caskey training with England U21s-

Highly rated England U21 midfielder Jake Forster-Caskey is set to travel out with Hearts in The Netherlands this week after a season long loan was agreed with Brighton for the player. Forster-Caskey made 22 appearances for Brighton last season and played some decent football in the English Championship, however following Brighton's capture of relentless Huddesfield midfielder Jacob Butterfield, it seems that manager Ian Holloway would rather Jake spend his time out at Hearts than fighting for a place with Butterfield.

"Jake is a good lad and I hope he performs well in Edinburgh," said Holloway on the move. "He plays good football and will bring something to Hearts. Alexander is a good lad and likes to play proper football and I know that is something new to Scotland and Forster-Caskey can help them to play that. He will do well there."
Will be a good signing!

Loan star Adam Reach has declared that this season is for the fans. Last season Reach delighted fans with his intention to stay on loan at Tynecastle for another season and he has really connected with them during his stay. This season Hearts mark their return to the SPFL and Reach has said that the teams performances this season will be for the fans that have stuck around during recent years.

Before heading out on the teams Dutch tour Reach attended a press-conference ahead of their game against Heracles. "We are all looking forward to this season," stated an excited Reach. "This year we are playing for the fans. They have stuck by the team through thick and thin and they deserve everything. I enjoy playing for the team, the fans are fantastic and I want to reward them, the whole team do."
Yet again a great update, I think you could be a dark horse for a sotm nomination
Dat mind control on the ball.

NEW KITS ANNOUNCED FOR 2015/16

This season Hearts have signed a 5 year deal with major manufacturers Nike. This means that the club will return to the SPFL with a slightly new look. The new kits are designed by Nike's top specialist Mr Tallery and, as always, will be on sale immediately at HeartsDirect. This season how ever kits are being sold at a cheaper price than normal, costing £32 in mens sizes and an incredible price of £25 in kids sizes.

HOME

The home kit this season is an incredibly smart and professional looking kit, there is still no sponsor on the shirt however that, quite possibly, improves the kit. The collar is dark grey and there is a hint of gold, before dark grey on the end of the sleeves.

AWAY

The away kit is a reversed design of the home kit. This kit also bears the Hearts Foundation logo on the front as the campaign builds up steam before their take full take over of the club. The gold goes with the maroon as the collar and sleeve ends match the HF badge.
Those kits are beautiful! Simple, but excellent in my opinion. Also, I like the shirt prices, they seem very reasonable. :)
Good kits, the club moving forward needed a change :)
Some lovely kits, and CONGRATS ON 100TH REPLY!

So Neal's comment was the 100th post on my story! I know that this may not be a great milestone for most people, however this is the first story I have done that I have made it to triple figures and I thank everyone for their on-going support. I'm loving this save and this story so far and let's go for another 100! #UpTheJambos

Congratulations, you deserve it after having another crack at the story and save!
Lovely kits and congratulations! :D

HEARTS IMPRESS IN HOLLAND

-Hearts players prepare to take on PSV-

HERACLES 0-3 HEARTS
CARRICK (x2), REACH

PSV 1-1 HEARTS
OLIVER

AJAX 1-1 HEARTS
KEATINGS

Hearts have gotten off to a great start in their pre-season tour of The Netherlands. The club have gone through their 3 games unbeaten and have played well to do so. The new signings have gelled together with the team and collectively they already look as if they're almost ready to take on the SPFL.

In their first game Hearts played recently relegated Eredivisie side Heracles and the team put in a great performance to dispatch them with a 3-0 victory. The game was pretty much wrapped up as Adam Reach and Dale Carrick both scored relatively early goals and from then on Hearts kept hold of the ball well. Carrick scored again late into the second-half to make it 3 and the club got off to a great start.

They were then pitted up against PSV Eindhoven. PSV managed to win the Eredivisie last season and so this was a much larger task than their first game. Hearts played with confidence and managed to grab a 1-1 draw against them. This was really impressive as Hearts matched PSV in each position with their performance and this was a fully deserved draw. It was a great day for 20 year-old Gary Oliver as he grabbed his first Hearts goal.

Finally Hearts came up against Ajax. They had a very disappointing last season where they fell to a disappointing 8th place finish. Despite this Ajax still had a very strong team and, once again, Hearts impressed as they came away with a much deserved 1-1 draw. James Keatings managed to grab his first goal in pre-season as he put up a good performance up-front with 18 year-old Alistair Roy.
