We showed our brilliance after defeating our former Altrincham opponents 6-1 in the FA Cup. We then faced 3rd place Morecambe at Kingfield Stadium and continued our form when we won 2-0. We edged Dagenham and Redbridge 2-1 making our form even stronger leading into the next match. Newly relegated Crawley suffered a heavy 3-0 loss in front of the crowds at Kingfield.

A potentially serious injury suffered by Dag & Red's Oliver Burke overshadowed events on what was a mild afternoon at Victoria Road. Target man Scott Rendell got Woking off to a flyer by scoring a placed shot from long range on 5 minutes. Rendell was deservedly pleased with the strike and it was easily one of the highlights of the match. Dag & Red's equaliser came through Abu Ogogo as he seized on Joey Jones' mistake to score a powerful penalty. Veteran winger Kevin Betsy scored what proved to be the winner on 25 minutes with a tidy finish from 12 metres.

Central defender Sam Magri had a chance to score for the Red Devils from the penalty spot on the 21st minute but Jake Cole was able to deny him. Woking finally took the lead when full back Eurico Sebastiao (playing out of position) scored a tap in on 42 minutes. Young winger Lyle Della Verde doubled Woking's lead with a simple finish from close in on 55 minutes. Things went from bad to worse for Crawley as the captain Josh Simpson earned himself an early bath for a bad tackle on 72 minutes. Ball-winning midfielder Josh Payne completed the rout with a powerful close range header effort on 80 minutes.

Joe McNerney has been exceptional this season so far with a solid average rating of 7.32. Joe McNerney has 2 man-of-the-match wins under his belt. Joe McNerney has won 92 tackles so far. Joe McNerney has succeeded 665 passes so far. Joe McNerney has covered a total of 205km of ground in 16 games. His defensive work has helped us prevent conceding goals and helping us win games.

"This month has been fantastic, we have won all of our games, but we only had 3 games in the league, which is obviously the priority. The FA Cup, who gives a shit when you're a league 2 team? I'm not expecting to get past the third round. Tactically, I feel we could have broken down Dagenham better, but that's not the players fault, it's my fault. They were playing an odd formation of 5-2-3, hard to defend against and hard to attack. I should perhaps consider my own formation..."

Woking Football Club has experienced a massive amount of investment from sponsorships, increasing there previous balance of a minuscule £500,000 to over £3 million of projected balance. Figures are speculation for there turnover, however it's predicted to be around £4-7 million last summer. More merchandise sales from new signings Lyle Della Verde and Eurico Sebastiao has approximately had profit of £100,000 in shirt sales.

This could be suggested by the influence of new and upcoming manager Darius Xavier's achievement on becoming the youngest manager to ever win the FA Trophy and Vanarama Conference. Rumours speculating that Darius is perhaps going back to Vanarama in Janurary to defend his title as 'out of form' Bristol Rovers or disappointing Wrexham as he was seen going into the stadium for an interview.

Woking has announced there financial turnover and new sponsorship deals. Chairman Mike Smith addressed the fans at Kingfield Stadium on the current financial state of the club. Smith has released the figures of a £3.7 million projected balance.

Smith added that the new sponsorship deals with clothing lines from Small Victory, Indie Threads and Big Cartel are all paying £80,000 per month for product placement (sideboards) in Kingfield Stadium of 2016/17. More sponsorship deals with local shops in Woking from Jerry's Burger and Walton Car Dealers all paying £10,000 per month to be featured on the season's kit in the new season in June.

Woking's season ticket price is £283 and they have just witnessed there highest amount of season ticket holders increasing by 24% to 1,954. This is mainly because of the great performances Woking has shown in the Vanarama Conference last season. Mike Smith was questioned about the manager - Darius Xavier and his opinion on the individual. Replying with,
"Darius is a very dedicated manager, he's so driven and hard working. Him and his team is doing really well right now and they won't be stopped, quite possibly can't be stopped."

Mike Smith was then questioned on how the financial turnover was mainly about the success of the manager. He said cautiously,
"Darius is a good manager, sure. But no disrespect to him, but one guy can't cause this much influx of money, surely!" Laughing nervously afterwards.

We walked into Kingfield Stadium expecting nothing, we left the exact same 2-2 except with another match to stress ourselves with. We edged Bury and York 1-0. We were dominated on television by Shrewsbury 3-1. Drawing with both relegation sides Port Vale and Newport Co 1-1, both away however.

Woking ensured manager Darius Xavier would be celebrating his birthday in style as they beat Bury 1-0 at Kingfield Stadium. Woking's winner came through Scott Rendell as he seized on Issac Hayden's mistake to score a long range effort. Bury nearly gifted them a goal on 46 minutes through Josh Payne's lapse of concentration but they failed to capitalise on the opportunity presented to them. Woking may well look back on the number of shots they took from long range and rue their decisions, as they often proved wasteful.

Woking came out on top in a breezy afternoon at Kingfield Stadium against York City. Defensive midfielder Josh Goddard gave Woking the lead with a placed shot from long range in the 66th minute. Woking had a number of attempts but their prolificacy meant they didn't score as many as they maybe would have liked.

The main reason for Josh Goddard being a key player this month is the fact he has scored the only goals in the last 3 fixtures against York, Port Vale and Newport Co. He has played 15 times, scored 3 times and assisted once. He has 1 man-of-the-match. His overall average rating is 7.11, however in the last 5 games it is 8.30. Josh Goddard has succeeded 964 passes, 19 of them being key. Averaging 12.9km of distance covered in a 90 minute game.

"This month just shows how stupid and undeserving these players actually are. As soon as the finance crew boost up their wages because they have spare money, they start playing like shit. Just typical in modern football, a bit of money and that's it. The only decent player who has been playing with passion is Josh Goddard and I'm happy with his performances recently. I'm just royally pissed off that these average players are getting royalty cheques, yet the true architect is me. I will be considering other jobs after this season..."

Woking took on Gateshead and defeated them the day after New Years 2-0 in a convincing win at Kingfield Stadium. Scoring goals looked easy against Plymouth as we could have won 7-2 but instead the woodwork was our enemy and denied us to a 4-2 win. Cambridge fell to us 2-1. Edging Coventry was nail-biting to watch as we beat them 1-0.

A potentially serious injury suffered by Woking's Eurico Sabastiao overshadowed events on what was a cold and wet wintery afternoon at Home Park. Advanced playmaker Lyle Della Verde gave Woking the lead with a deftly executed finish in the 25th minute. Central defender Joey Jones doubled Woking's lead with a simple finish from close in 45 minutes. Payne scored an incisive from 13 metres in the 45 minute to extend the lead further. Target man Reuben Reid pulled one back from Plymouth after 48 minutes with a well struck effort from distance which took a deflection. Reid put Plymouth back in with a shout in the 60th minute with an accurate finish but it was too little, too late. An error from Plymouth's Luke McCormick allowed Payne to score a finish tucked away with consummate ease.

"A team meeting with my selfish players has made them kicked on and become dominate in the league again. No player was significantly outstanding this month, mainly due to the shortage of games. This corrupt club has extended my contract to a 1 year unfortunately, which means I can't resign but I can get another job. So we will see what the future holds..."
Really have got nothing to say other than well done, lol! A brilliant month. I honestly haven't read until now and you're killing it! Lets hope you can seal promotion in the coming months :)

Beginning the month against Carlisle losing 2-0 which is our second loss of the second. Accrington at Kingfield Stadium, edging them 3-2. Humiliated by league leaders Portsmouth 5-0 away from home. Bore-draw at Kingfield Stadium taking on Tranmere. Defeating AFC Wimbledon was difficult considering they are pushing for promotion currently. Rochdale was another tough bout and should not have been a goalless scoreline, at least 2-2, but it was 0-0.

A potentially serious injury suffered by Woking's James Horsfield overshadowed the events on what was the cold and clear evening at Kingfield Stadium. Tranmere nearly handed the lead in the 42nd minute through Joey Jones' lapse in concentration but failed to capitalise. Both teams had a number of attempts at goal, which promised much, but the quality of finishing was poor throughout.

Goal-friendly AFC Wimbledon suffered a 2-1 loss against Woking at Kingfield Stadium. Advanced forward Sean Maguire gave AFC Wimbledon the lead with a well-placed shot from close range in the 22nd minute. Central defender Magnus Okuonghae had a moment he will quickly want to forget about in the 55th minute when he contrived to score a calamitous own goal. Central defender John Goddard scored what proved to be the winner on 57th minutes with an effort from range.

"This was a very poor, very poor month. We may have won the matches but the performances were shocking. We only defeated AFC Wimbledon by an own-goal and Accrington because they were shit at finishing. Getting smashed 5-0 by Portsmouth? Are you kidding me? We are losing that killer instinct we had, and if we don't find it soon, we quite possibly could be knocked into the play-offs..."
Poor performances, that result against Pompey will be a real kick in the teeth! Let's look forward to a better March!

Facing Luton at Kingfield Stadium edging them in a close 2-1 bout. We drew against Oxford away from home at 1-1. Kingfield Stadium was packed to watch us lose 2-1 with us losing a 1-0 lead. Burton and Exeter in both bore draws 0-0. Against Southend we confidentally defeated them 2-0 at Kingfield Stadium. In an important match, Morecambe swiped us down and we lost 2-0 losing our automatic promotion spot.

Woking had their midfield to thank on a wet afternoon at Kingfield Stadium as they showed their strikers how to finish. An error from Southend's Roger Riera allowed inside forward Lyle Della Verde to score a close range finish was timed impeccably. Experienced winger Dean Morgan completed the scoring for Woking with a tap-in on 73 minutes.

"This is what I was expected would happen. We would dominate the league in the first two thirds and get complacent, throw away hopes of promotion. This squad has lost it's passion and the fans are getting fustrated with them two. Who's to blame? Me, the manager. They got paid 40% more after the financial turnover while I got a 0% increase. They aren't performing as well as they should for that amount of money at this level. If they don't start playing well now, then they will go at the transfer window and I'll bring players in..."

Dagenham Redbridge was demolished 3-0 by us in Kingfield Stadium. We defeated Crawley 3-1 away from home and continued our form by defeating Newport Co 2-0. A bore draw as the only time we didn't claim all 3 points this month against Bury at a 0-0 bout. Faced Port Vale 1-0 at Kingfield Stadium, York City fell victim to us in the final game of the season 2-1.

An efficient performance from Woking saw them run out 2-0 winners from Newport County at Kingfield Stadium. Young midfielder James Horsfield gave Woking the lead with a long range effort which took a deflection in the 32nd minute. Newport Co were nearly gifted a goal on 46 minutes through Mike Crestor's lapse in concentration but they failed to capitalise on the opportunity given to them. Advanced forward Eurico Sebastiao completed the scoring for Woking with a nice effort from 14 metres on 53 minutes.

On a wet afternoon at Bootham Cresent, Woking's Mark Ricketts was at the centre of attention as he led The Cardinals to promotion. Central defender Joe McNerney gave Woking the lead with a free-kick from 29 metres in the 52nd minute. Ball winning midfielder Tom Platt, then equalised for York in the 80th minute with a well-timed finish from close range. The last goal of the game was an own goal from central defender Keith Lowe; an incident which will undoubtedly have caused him some embarrassment.

"The lazy fucks decided to do something and actually fight for what they want, they got what they deserved. As much I as discourage them, they have played decently, but is it all them? No, of course not. It makes me sick that the media have claimed it to be Mark Ricketts as the key element to this successful season. My synopsis of this season will be arriving very shortly..."
Congratulations on another promotion, you deserved it. Great story, keep ir up!!!!

Woking boss Darius Xavier has been released from his reign at Kingfield Stadium as a manager. During his time with The Cardinals, Xavier's team lifted the English FA Trophy in 2015, secured promotion in the Vanarama Conference in 2015 and finished runners-up in the Sky Bet League 2.

Woking will be looking for a new manager. Speculation of Xavier's successor at Kingfield Stadium is rife, with Keith Hill being touted by the media as the favourite to get the nod. Woking officials are refusing to comment but speculation suggests that Gary McAllister, John Gregory and Nick Barmby are also likely to be in the mix.

Chairman Mike Smith has announced that Woking scout Steven Magee has decided to follow former manager Darius Xavier out of the club. It is believed that Steven Magee wanted to ensure any new manager would start with minimal baggage from the former regime.

The Watford board have announced the appointment of Darius Xavier as the club's new manager. Xavier is said to be relishing the opportunity to develop his football management at Vicarage Road and the Hornets supporters are sure to be hoping he can make a difference to their team.

The figure lurked in the doorway. He was unable to recognise the face. The person into the bedroom bearing a tray.
"Hey," the person says to the man, who is still under the covers. He raised himself up on his elbows, surveys the breakfast as the woman sets it down on the bedside table.

"Scrambled," he says, looking at the eggs almost suspiciously.
"Just the way you like them," the person says. "Well cooked. You should eat them before they get cold."

He gets his legs out from under the covers, sits up on the edge of the bed. He is wearing a pair of faded Chelsea pyjamas. They are threadbare at the knees.
"How'd you sleep?" the person asks.
"Okay," he says, reaching for the napkin and spreading it on his lap. "I didn't hear you get up."
"I got up around six, but I tiptoed around the kitchen so I wouldn't disturb you. You given up your hobby?"
"What? What do you mean?"
"Where's your little book? It's usually right there." The person points to the bedside table.
"I write in it after you leave," he says, setting the plate atop the napkin, resting it on his knees, taking his first bite. "Good eggs." The person says nothing. "You want to sit down?"
"No. I have to go to work."
He picks up a strip of bacon, bits into it with a crunch. "You want some help?"

"Help with what?"
"At work. I could come, and help you." He chews the bacon, swallows.
"You're confused" the person says. "You don't come to work."
"I used to," he says.
"You just enjoy your breakfast."
"I could help, I really could. You know I'm good at doing management. I know everything."
The person sighs. How many times has this person had this conversation? "No," the person said.

The man frowns. "I'd like things to be the way they used to be."
"Who wouldn't?" the person says. "I'd like to be twenty-one again, but wishing don't make it happen."
Be blows on his coffee, has a sip. "What's it like out today?"
"Nice, I think. Rained last night".
"I'd like to go out, even in the rain," the man says.
The person's had enough. "Eat your breakfast. I'll be back for the tray before I go."
