FM15 Team Guides

Over the last couple of editions of Football Manager, this site has been determined to produce a wide range of team guides but for one reason or another, unfortunately this has failed. We still believe that team guides can be of much benefit, to newer players especially, and gives the opportunity for more experienced managers to share their knowledge and really help out others in the community.

So, we need your help more than ever, so we actually can release a set of team guides covering many of the top leagues in the FM database, which we will go over later. This year, I will lead the project, and hopefully this will be a success. We do need reliable, active and consistent members to contribute and make this happen though.

What to include in the team guide?

Some of you may not understand what to include in a team guide, and may well be put off, so I would recommend checking out some of the FM14 team guides available here: http://www.fmscout.com/c-teamguides.html, or reading over some of the things I would ask to be included, as follows;

• Finances and Budget
• Best Tactics
• First 11 Positional Analysis
• Potential Weaknesses
• Predicted Finish and Summary

What teams should I write about?

As I have already mentioned, the aim is to cover most of the top leagues in the world, and if this is completed then we can obviously expand to more leagues too. These leagues are the following;

• England – Premier League, Championship
• France – Ligue 1
• Germany – Bundesliga
• Spain – La Liga
• Italy – Serie A

How do I contribute?

Feel free to post below, telling me that you would like to be involved, and which leagues/teams you would feel most suited to write about. From there, I can PM you and we can talk about exactly what teams you will write about, avoiding any confusion of multiple people doing the same teams. Then just get writing, and post in the team guides section of the site!

If you have any other queries, or problems, again just PM me.

I'll get right on Liverpool. :)
Hey, I would love to do a team guide for AC Milan, as I am a huge fan IRL and started a career with them as well, which can be followed in my thread (footer).

Let me know.
The AC Milan guide for FM15 has been published. Thank you, sadak!

Aaron, how is your Liverpool guide coming along?
I'll happily do Chelsea
I'm just putting in my 2 cents but maybe make it easier to find guides other than in the Advice section at the top, maybe give them their own section on that group?
will do Valencia at some point :)
Trop: Thanks for the help mate, that would be brilliant if you could write a Chelsea guide.

walkinshaw: We appreciate the suggestion, we'll take it into consideration!

Tallery: That's great, any contribution is welcomed :)
I'm pretty much going to create a template and do as many team guides as possible, I can only do Serie A, La Liga and the English leagues however as I have the demo only.
I will do Manchester United.
Feliks and Josh: Cheers guys, hopefully we can get a fair few guides produced in the next few weeks, and with Christmas just around the corner that could mean more people will be able to get their hands on the game, and be able to write too!
I would be interested in doing a team in England Germany Spain or England, don't mind which one, any team should be good
If you made some kind of template, I'd do a couple
I'd happily do Everton, Southampton or a League Two guide. :)
Xanderthedunny: Thanks for the help, how about you get started with the Premier League? I'll post a list of all the clubs soon, and cross them off once they have been completed.

J_Skinna_39: I'll get working on a template soon, as well!

The 510 Series: Brilliant, feel free to start writing :)
