De Gea Signs New Contract

Manchester United are pleased to announce goalkeeper David De Gea has signed a new four year contract which will keep him at the club until 2020.

http://www.101greatgoals.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/12/david-de-gea-celebrating-penalty-save-v-everton.jpg

I am delighted that David has decided to remain with us for the foreseeable future, in the four years he has been here he has developed into one of the best goalkeepers in the world and we are glad he has decided to stay and continue his development. I am confident he will become the best keeper around in the next couple of seasons. He's certainly on the right track. In every trophy winning side you must have a great goalkeeper and we certainly have one of those.
(Adam Deverell speaking to Sky Sports)

For me i am very very happy to be staying at this wonderful club. When i first came to England i found it difficult and struggled at times but i knew if i kept my head up and pushed myself i could do well here. Adam Deverell has been great with me since he joined us last summer and i'm glad i get to spend the next years under his guidance.

Breaking: Hummels To Join United

http://www.fm-base.co.uk/forum/attachments/football-manager-2015-manager-stories/901236d1428939952-make-title-winning-team-30-days-_-southampton-edition-sky-sports-deadline-day-2.jpg

Manchester United have agreed a fee of around £25 million pounds with Borussia Dortmund for the transfer of there captain Mats Hummels

United have been in the market all summer already acquiring the services of Ross Barkley, Memphis Depay, Dani Alves and Harry Kane, with Hummels joining there ranks it would take there summer spending to over £120 million pounds. United have been after experience at the back and with Hummels they need not look much further.

Hummels joined Dortmund from Bayern Munchen in 2009 going onto make 192 appearances, scoring 17 goals in total. The 26-year-old helped Dortmund to the Bundesliga title in 2011 and the league and German Cup double in 2012, as well as guiding the club to the 2013 Champions League final. He made his international debut in 2010 and has since gone on to earn 39 caps, scoring 4 goals.

Great pre season from our new winger, 3 goals and he's raring to go

Thoughts

It started out horribly for us, the defeat to Columbus was down to our match fitness, constantly losing the ball and no real efforts on goal. We recovered well and started banging in the goals, Kansas and New York City were taken apart from my side and then we travelled to the Liberty stadium for Alan Tate's testimonial match which again we had our shooting boots on for putting 5 past them. A good warm up in all we look raring to go for the season ahead. First up the Community Shield & Chelsea.

Champions League: Group H

Manchester United
Key Player: Wayne Rooney

It's great to be back in the champion's league, the group stage draw alone is an exciting moment and this years draw has certainly served us with a stern test if we are to get through to the knockout stages this year. I feel we have recruited well this summer with the likes of Memphis Depay & Mats Hummels among others joining us and we will need them all to be on the top of there game if we are to do well. Here are the other three teams in our group..it's daunting

Bayern Munich
Key Player: Robert Lewandowski

The German giants will provide our toughest test though a trip to the Allianz is a point in the calendar i can only relish. Bayern struggled hard last season finishing at a disappointing third behind Dortmund and champions Schalke however they did comfortably beat Manchester City in last seasons Champions league final and will be desperate to retain the trophy.

AS Roma
Key Player: Daniele De Rossi

Another good test for us will be the Italian giants Roma. A consistent side in the Champion's league group stage, this team is filled with experience with the likes of De Rossi, Cole & Strootman expected to aid there cause in there bid to reach the knockout phase though we have done well against them in the past..who remembers the famous 7-1 at Old Trafford back in 2007?

Steaua Bucarest
Key Player: Alexandru Chipclu

Finally to round off our group arguably the easiest of the lot in Bucarest. Though the Romanian side are the weakest side in our group, they have won the Romanian league for three years running so we can't afford to take them too lightly. At the same time i believe if we want to make it out of the group and facing the likes of Real Madrid, Juventus we need to pick up maximum points from these.
Great story mate

just 1 question how do you get the chapters i want to do this for my story

Nani is not included as the struggles to offload him go on

Transfer Report: Part Two

Mats Hummels
Fee: £25 million

Mats has been my number 1 target for sometime now, so to get him was a great result for us. I tried to get him last summer when i first joined but the fact we could offer no Champion's league football proved a massive disadvantage and he opted to remain at Dortmund. This summer is completely different, an exciting ongoing project to rebuild Manchester United has persuaded the German to join and for £25million i think it's pretty good business. I also managed to knock his wage demands down by a whopping £80k from £240.000p/w down to £160.000. #WelcomeMats

Jaime Narvaez
Fee: £1.3 million

Got a scout report on this 16 year old midfielder and couldn't miss the opportunity to sign him up. I am not afraid to give my youngsters a shot in the first team as was the case with the likes of McNair, Pereira, Pearson and Wilson and in Narvaez there's alot of potential to go big. He will start out in the U21 squad and will look at him again at the end of the season. #WelcomeNarvaez

Angelo Henriquez
Fee: £2.1 million (Leicester City)

Alot of promise when he first signed for United however i cuden't find space in the first team for him. I had a vision of how i wanted my squad to look for my 2nd season in charge and he wasn't apart of it. I'm sure he will do well with Leicester and he has youth on his side. #GoodLuckAngelo

Javier Hernandez
Fee: £4 million (Ajax)

I'm a big fan of Chitarito however i had to be realistic, i knew he weren't going to get much game time and thought it best he moved on, the initial bid was made on deadline day however the deal wasn't completed in time, therefore he will officially sign for the Dutch giants on January 1st. He's been a wonderful servant and wish him well for the future. Will always remember his goal against Chelsea which sent us on our way to our 19th title in 2011. #GoodLuckChitarito

So that is our summer business dealings complete. One bit of business i failed to sort was the departure of Nani with his high wages being the stumbling block for many interested clubs. Aside from that some great young player's bought with a solid, experienced defender to go with it. With still £70million left in the kitty there may well be more activity in January so watch this space!

Nomination

Could not look past Wayne after scoring 6 times in our first three games!

Summary

A month that started with a Community Shield triumph and ended with a last minute winner against our arch nemesis Liverpool, August could not of gone any better. I looked at the squad before we kicked off our campaign and thought "there will be goals galore from this lot" and already it's proving reality. Rooney & Di Maria have started on fire and our new signing's are bedding into the side wonderfully, Mats Hummels in particular who is already providing a rock in the hear of our defence. A much bigger squad compared to last season so gametime will be tough for a number of our players however with the Champion's League to look forward to again this year i want everyone in that team to play there part..and i'm sure they will.

PSG's Monster Bid

Manchester United manager Adam Deverell has revealed PSG made a "mammoth" offer for the services of Adnan Januzaj last summer

http://www.101greatgoals.com/wp-content/uploads/2014/10/januzaj-man-united-chevrolet-kit.jpg

Deverell was in France during the international break to watch the national team in action and he broke the news about PSG's approach to L'equipe, adding he was taken back by the offer but refused to accept, citing the importance he believes Januzaj will become in the next "few" years at Old Trafford and wasn't prepared to budge whatever the cost for the talented youngster.

Question: Unai Emery made a high bid for the services of Adnan Januzaj for it to be rejected, can you tell us more on this? Was it as reported £60 million they bid?

Deverell: It's true Unai did approach us in the summer about the availability of Adnan and we had absolutely no interest in opening discussion's with them. They came back with an opening offer of £15 million which was flatout rejected by us, we felt abit like they were taking the p*** out of us offering such a puny offer. A week later i had a call to say Paris St Germain had come back with a second offer at £60 million which i admit i was quite shocked at considering the difference in scale of the two bids. Though it was a massive amount we still cuden't accept and don't plan on entertaining anymore discussion on the matter. Adnan Januzaj is a Manchester United player and we very much see him as a key player in the next couple of years.

Weather Unai Emery & PSG come back with another bid remains to be seen. It looks however though Adam Deverell has big plans for Januzaj in the near future and doesn't see his future away from Old Trafford whatever the cost.

From today i will be on my weeks holiday from work so will be unable to update my story during that time. I will be back next Sunday where i will continue this story. See ya then :)
I would've accepted it, and added a 25% sell on clause!

Another dazzling month from Di Maria with more eye catching performances

Summary

We've got ourselves in a very good position in the league with our only minor coming in the 1-1 draw at Sheff Wed. The game against Spurs was as entertaining as you could get and i'm getting some fantastic performances from my players. Our return to the Champion's league has so far been perfect, a hard fought win in Rome aswell as thrashing Steaua at Old Trafford see's us top of the group with maximum points. Next month will be a true test of how good my team really is when we play Chelsea, Bayern Munich, Man City and Liverpool all in the space of 14 days!
Outstanding month here mate :D Hope it continues :)

Guardiola: United No Force

http://estaticos.marca.com/imagenes/2014/04/15/en/football/international_football/1397580048_extras_noticia_foton_7_0.jpg

Bayern Munich manager Pep Guardiola has stated Manchester United are not the same "feared" side as they once were.

Speaking at his press conference Pep cited the clubs past couple of struggled seasons where they have only lifted the FA cup in that time and feels the departure of Sir Alex Ferguson at the end of the 2012/13 season has hit the club harder than expected.

Manchester United have a strong team, maybe not at the heights of past seasons as they have fell short in the league in the two most recent seasons but still a team to watch out for. I feel we have a strong group of players ourselves and we're very confident of getting a good result at Old Trafford, a ground where perhaps some of the fear factor has been lost. Of course when a manager with the success Sir Alex had leaves after such a long time at the helm it will be difficult to adjust and i think that has shown. Man United had a good season winning the cup last season but for a team of there size they will see anything less than the league title as a disappointing season.

Manchester United host Bayern Munich on matchday three this Wednesday where they will be looking to extend there perfect start at the top of Group H against the German giants and current Champions League holders who have so far managed just a single point from there opening two matches.

Sir Alex Ferguson is the most successful manager in the clubs history
