I'm Back

After returning to FMScout from yet another sabbatical, I've decided that, yet again, it was time for me to delve into a story. After reading the stories from Glenn, Pompey, Jack, Shylax, LFC and the others (forgive me if I didn't name you, this is top off my head), I decided to share my adventures with A.C. Cesena.

Why Cesena?

I've decided to go with A.C. Cesena. A good challenge as most of their first-team players will leave once their loan period finishes, and a team that I have massive respect for. They brought up the likes of Antonio Candreva, Emmanuele Giacchierini, Yuto Nagatomo, the legendary Massimo Ambrosini whilst also developing stars such as Vincenzo Iaquinta, Luis Jimenez and Romanian sensation Adrian Mutu.

Who Is The Manager?

In all due time, the manager shall be announced.. I can assure you that none of you will get it ;)

Goals

Avoid Relegation
Achieve Legendary Status
Achieve European Qualification
Win the Coppa Italia
Win the Italian Super Cup
Win the Serie A
Win the Champions League
Sign Emmanuele Giacherinni - I really like him..

NOTE: This save-file will go under the 15.3.0 database, which means that Cesena have just been promoted to the Serie A following their play-off win over Latina.
Good luck Pauker :)

Good luck with Cesena! Hope you can fulfill your goal of signing Emmanuele Giacherinni, the rest of your targets seem pretty easy :P
An interesting choice, there are interesting players. Good luck.
Good luck Pauker!
A very different club, you don't see many Cesena saves so I'm looking forward to this!
After reading the stories from Glenn, Pompey, Jack, Shylax, LFC and the others (forgive me if I didn't name you, this is top off my head)

I can't forgive you.

Ahaha, good luck Pauks, great to see you back!
@Lenny:: Thanks for the support!
@Glenn: It's the #1 priority, for now.
@Bebero: I wanted to do a challenging save, so :P. Although their top players are on loan :P
@Pompey: No thanks? Jk, thanks for the early support
@iWelshWizard: Something out of my comfort zone, yes ;P
@Josh_MU:: I don't see any stories of you active, so :/ ? I'm sorreh

Pierpaolo Bisoli to remain at Cesena?

The man that promoted Cesena in a jaw-dropping play-off final against Latina, could be removed from his post, according to gazzettadellosport.com. It is rumored that the Italian manager, whom he is very affectionate with the fans at Cesena, had a fall-out earlier this week with Cesena officials earlier this week.

But will he remain at Cesena?

Who is Bisoli?

Pierpaolo Bisoli is perhaps, one of the best managers that Cesena have raked in as of late. The fairly young Italian manager came to Cesena's attention when he achieved a play-off spot, along with a win, with Umbarian minnows Foligno in Serie C1. After such an achievement with a team and squad as thin as Foligno, Bisoli was hired to take back Cesena to the Serie A, which he did achieve on the first time of asking, after the club's 19 year absence of Italy's top flight.

However, it wasn't meant to be, as Cagliari, one of Bisoli's former clubs came asking following his impressive performances during his short-stint at Cesena. His stay at Cagliari, along with his next managerial job Bologna, were short and unsuccessful. According to the manager, it was time to 'go back home' after these stints.

Pierpaolo Bisoli

Ferocious: The young Italian manager has 'given his heart out' for Cesena, according to fans and players alike.

Bisoli returned to back 'home' to Cesena, now in the Serie B as the club struggled under four different managers in a 2 year-spell at Italy's top flight, the Serie A. After a season of rebuilding during the 2012-2013 season, the Italian managed to secure his third promotion in his short career in the 2013-2014 season. Now, with Cesena back playing at the highest level of Italian football, it seems that yet again, Bisoli will not be the man in charge to lead them into Serie A football.

With his future in the air, it seems that Bisoli will once again have to walk away from Cesena, just before Cesena begin their Serie A campaign.
Good luck Pauker :P
I don't really know much about calcio but I trust you will do well with Cesena.
@Jack: Thanks, I'll defo need it!
@Shylax: You'll learn your trade as Cesena rise up to the heights of world football!

CONFIRMED: Bisoli to remain as Cesena boss

After a week that has seen Pierpaolo Bisoli constantly linked with an exit from Cesena, the own president, Giorgio Lugaresi, has come out of the shadows to confirm that the 48 year-old will remain at the helm, at least for next season.

It was rumored that Bisoli could not retain his job after falling out with various members of the board of directors, but it all was 'rumors' that the media createad according to Lugaresi. After the exclusive came out earlier this week from Gazzetta dello Sport, the bookies had Domenico di Carlo, Massimo Drago and Fabrizio Castori, as favorites to land the job at Dino Maruzzi, Cesena's stadium.

Fan Favorite to Remain at Cesena

Bisoli was strongly linked to leave Cesena for the second time, but is set to stay at the club.

Lugaresi, who conducted a press conference to reveal the news also added that 'Bisoli deserves his job', as they are set to complete a 75 year-anniversary playing in the Serie A, a 'perfect present given by Bisoli' as they achieved promotion via the play-offs. This will be the third time that Bisoli manages at the top-level in Italy, as he had unsuccessful and short lived spells at Cagliari and Bologna, but will be hopeful that he'll strike gold on the third time of asking, with Cesena.
Best of luck Pauks!
@Feliks: Thank you :)
