Welcome

Hi folks, it's Feliks again. I'm unfortunately back once more, as my previous attempt of a story has kinda failed for the time being. Don't get me wrong, the save was fantastic - it was probably just too fantastic, and it got ahead of me. I couldn't affectively write updates due to losing crucial details over time, and therefore, I've ended the story. However, my love of story writing is probably too strong for my own good, and therefore I've decided to have my third and final crack at a club story for FM15 - and this time I'm keeping it simple.

This time, I've decided to go with a club on FM that I think can do a lot better than IRL, and that is West Ham United. I really admire some of their players, such as Mark Noble and Aaron Cresswell, and I look forward to turning them into a top notch outfit capable of matching it with the top 6. And as I am not using any transfer updates, I will be using January squads and starting in July 2014 as then-West Ham manager Sam Allardyce

Please do enjoy!

good luck mate
Long balls?

20+ goals a season for Carroll?

Fights with Louis van Gaal?

Should be good
West Ham United - Moore than a Football Club because of this banner in their stadium? Anyways, good luck with this one. Hope it lasts!
Good luck with WHU, Feliks! Brilliant title btw :P
I haven't thought of a good comment yet

Everyone Thanks for the input guys, I'm gonna have to borrow Justice's hammers for the title though!

Reid Leaves For Benfica

West Ham centre half Winston Reid has swapped the Premier League for the Liga ZON Sagres, joining heavyweights SL Benfica on a 5 year deal after the 2 clubs agreed a £9.5 million fee. Reid, who was set to leave the club on a free at the end of the season anyway, will instead get his move a year early, giving West Ham a sizeable profit after purchasing him for £3.6m 4 years ago.

The New Zealand international played 96 games for the Hammers over 4 seasons, establishing himself as one of the league's most underrated players and eventually attracting the interest of both Liverpool and Everton. However, Reid rejected Merseyside and will ply his trade in Lisbon instead, for SL Benfica.

Reid was happy with the move, after stating his desire to leave at the conclusion of his West Ham contract during the offseason. He moves a year earlier than planned, to a more reputable club, and is delighted with the prospect of playing Champions League football.

"It's something I've always wanted to be a part of, playing in the elite competition of club football, and it's great to finally get a chance to do it. Playing against the world's top strikers is what I came to Europe to do."

Meanwhile West Ham will be quietly content with the deal, pocketing almost £10 million from a player who could have left on a free. With James Collins, James Tomkins and Cheikhou Kouyate jostling for centre back positions, Sam Allardyce will be looking for a new face to join his defence and then move onto strengthening the rest of the squad with his topped up transfer budget.
Despite losing such a good defender, at least you got some cash out of him, which wouldn't have been the case if you kept him. Good deal, spend the money wisely!

Not a bad deal for Reid. Good luck with West Ham, stick to this and it'll be fantastic. ;)

Promising Duo Join West Ham On Loan

West Ham have secured the loan signings of two of England's best prospects, with Luke Garbutt of Everton and Jordon Ibe of Liverpool joining on season-long loans. Both are expected to have an important role to play in and around the first team, says Sam Allardyce.

"Luke and Jordon are both big additions to our squad, and I'll be looking to accelerate their development with some solid gametime."

Garbutt is expected to play second fiddle to Aaron Cresswell at left back, whilst Jordon Ibe will face competition at right wing with Morgan Amalfatino. Both are yet to break through at their parent clubs, and will hope some good performances at The Boleyn Ground will hold them in good stead on their return.

Although it is expected Jordon Ibe will return to Merseyside upon the completion of his loan, the future of Luke Garbutt is less clear with West Ham including a future fee in the loan agreement. At any point during the loan, West Ham can purchase the English left back for £7.5 million - a fee which could prove to be a bargain come the end of the season.

However, this loan deal means that Carl Jenkinson's initially agreed to loan deal at The Boleyn Ground is cancelled, and the right back will return to Arsenal, opening the door for a potential new signing in his position.

With Morgan Amalfitano and Matt Jarvis currently injured, it appears that Ibe could make his Premier League debut against Everton, whilst Garbutt cannot play against his parent club. Both players will nonetheless hope they can impress on loan and win the hearts of their supporters back home.
An interesting set of loan signings. They have potential, no doubt, but do they have the current ability?
