Chelsea Story: Defend or perish?

This is my first ever Manager story and Chelsea is the team I follow and so I thought of starting a manager story with Chelsea.

OCTOBER 2015

We had a better month than September. Premier League was a convincing one with 2 wins and 1 draw. We could have won against liverpool as Cuadrado scored at 85mins but Can equalized at 89min. We were simply unlucky. Rogers and his boys deserved the draw. A brilliant 2-3 win against fellow title contenders Arsenal was the highlight of the month. We faced PSG at home in our European Clash but only managed to draw 2-2. Moved further close to COP glory by thrashing Charlton 4-2 for the win.

CHELSEA PLAYER OF THE MONTH

EDEN HAZARD
http://foxesfc.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/Eden-Hazard-of-Chelsea-celebrates-scoring-during-the-Premier-League.jpg

Eden Hazard deserves to be the player of the month for Chelsea as he scored 4 goals in 3 matches including 2 assists. He played like a leader in the midfield and match after match, he looks unstoppable.

MANAGER'S THOUGHT

A good month for us! It's very satisfying when you manage to win an important game against Arsenal and draw against Liverpool. The boys have been great throughout October and we've now took hold of second place in the league. Swansea City and Manchester City aren't too far behind.
Nice story mate. I've struggled but sold Mikel in my first season and bought Kevin Vogt and Niklas Stark. The first for cover (has good stats to challenge Matic in the second season though) and the third to the future.

Griezman and Bale (40M plus William) were my two major transfers for the title defending season, which I'm at the beginning yet.

Are u using a updated database and starting in the 15/16 season?

Blitz - Thanx. I appriciate ur comment. Selling Mikel is like impossible. I am thinking of signing some bargains. I will be very active in January to grab some talents . Walcott was one of my targets and Carlos Vela. but both clubs rejected my bids. And yes, I am using the updated DB and starting in 15/16 season hypothetically. The game starts with 2014. I just interprete in my mind that everything is 2015/16. Updated DB has 2014 winners as Chelsea. So....its cool.

Thanx for ur comments. Btw...never heard of Kevin Vogt and Niklas Stark. How are they?

NOVEMBER 2015

November was a very successful one for Chelsea looking at Premier League but the mishaps happened in the Champions League. Loosing to PSG was a bitter blow to our chances and further more, a draw at home against Wolfsburg was not at all excepted from Wise's men.

Your welcome mate. Kevin Vogt is a good backup CDM (Better than Mikel). Stark I've discovered, as u can see in the link on his name, has a great prospect to be like Matic in the future, with 15 marking and tackling (as I was looking for) with only 19 ys old.

Walcott was a nightmare against me in the previous season (the one I won the championship). He's deadly in the counter attack.

Btw in the first season I've won 5-0 against united in SB and them lost to Liverpool 2 times, draw United away, Arsenal 2 but only the united defeat wasn't at the end of the season...

Oh, and I've smashed PSG in the UCL group stage, only to lose to Juve in the knockout 16.
PS: Please ignore the results image. I can't edit the page....thats not the correct image.

I'll scout those two when january comes. Thanx for the advice.
Well I also can recommend Stark, but he is always sold in the first transfer window for a fee for about 2-3 mio. € he's really a bargain, but you can also try to sign Yannick Gerhardt, from Cologne, he is a good prospect

TaroMisaki - I'll surely look into these two prospects. Thanx for the advice though, appriciate it.

CHELSEA PLAYER OF THE MONTH

DIEGO COSTA
http://i3.mirror.co.uk/incoming/article5609738.ece/ALTERNATES/s1023/Chelsea-FC-Premier-League-2014-15-in-Pictures.jpg

November was undoubtedly the best month so far for the Spaniard. Not only did he win Chelsea's Player of the Month but also claimed the award for Premier League Player of the Month. The prolific striker was already starting to show glimpses of his returning form in September but the outburst came in November when Costa netted 5 goals in 3 matches and provided 2 assists. He was unlucky in Europe when he hit goal posts two times. This might be the start of the red hot devastating form that we saw in the body of Costa last season.

MANAGER’S THOUGHT

November was not exactly successful In terms of European football but we managed to keep our roots firm by winning all the Premier League games. We started off the month in style when the team destroyed Crystal Palace hitting them 6 times and conceded none. Other matches were on the same line. My concern was for our European football. We faced an embarrassing loss at the hands of PSG. It was a huge blow. But then again, rather than picking ourselves up, the team let me down once again when we had an unnecessary draw against Sevilla and that too at home. It shows that we have been focusing more in premier league and losing our touch at European football. Chelsea currently reside at third and we desperately have to win to climb otherwise, we might just not qualify for the knockout stage.

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW: DIEGO COSTA

http://static.guim.co.uk/sys-images/Guardian/Pix/pictures/2015/2/12/1423753450885/Diego-Costa-008.jpg

Early afternoon at a photographic studio tucked away in sleepy suburban Surrey, a stone’s throw from the Thames, and Diego Costa is intent upon keeping himself busy. The Chelsea striker is playing the beast at present. He has trained back at Cobham with his customary gusto, an attempt to avoid being blunted by media, and has crammed commitments with sponsors into his schedule to occupy his time,

The last few weeks have been the best for the Spaniard so far, scoring 10 goals “It has a brilliant season for me so far. I am enjoying my football a lot” he admits. “Whatever happens, all I think about is scoring goals. When I don’t think I can score, then I try to assist.” He says “last time around, I was pulled back due to injuries but this time I feel very fit and happy. If I continue this form they surely I will win the golden boot this time.”

“Football is my life and I cannot imagine myself doing anything other than playing this game,” he says. “I’ve been through a lot to get here and I know now the difficult thing is to maintain myself at this level. To stay here and to maintain yourself among the best you have to become a better player and a better person as well. So I have to work and improve as if there was no tomorrow. Obviously I have to enjoy all I have. People depend on you, and now I can look back at everything I’ve gone through to get here with a different perspective. I am glad I have given my family the life I wanted for them. That is my responsibility.”

DENNIS WISE ADMITS CHELSEA ARE IN REAL DANGER OF NOT GETTING PAST CHAMPIONS LEAGUE GROUPS

After Chelsea's 4-1 loss away against PSG, Chelsea's manager has admitted they will struggle to qualify for the Champions League knock out stages.

Wise bought on Falcao at half time in what was thought to be a 3-5-2, switching from his normal 4-2-3-1 to try and make a fight back but that looks to have backfired as his team ended up conceding 4. Diego Costa hit the goal post 2 times in the last 10 minutes.

Former Manchester United player, Falcao who is on loan at Chelsea has revealed how furious Dennis Wise was in the dressing room at full time as he locked them all in the room whilst talking to them!.
wooooooooooooooooooow!!!
4-1 to PSG? How? I've done this result to them away from home... LOOOOOL
Blitz - Yeah man....i have no idea how it happened. I did everythin...nothing happened...my team just lost the plot.
December review is coming. Lets just hope...I reach the knockout stages.
