New Stoke City chairman, Mark Viduka, has expressed his delight with the way in which the club has began the season. Stoke, who have recorded 2 wins, 1 draw & 1 loss, currently sit in 7th position on the EPL ladder thanks in no small part to the goal scoring prowess of new signing, Wilfried Bony.
Many were surprised by Bony's (Not to mention a few others) arrival at the Britannia, especially given the record 27.5M outlay, but Viduka says the decision to sign the Ivorian has already been justified with the forward bagging 5 EPL goals from just 4 appearances.
"He's (Bony) a wonderful talent with a proven track record of scoring goals in the EPL. He didn't get the chance to show what he was capable of at Manchester City but its clear to see now the quality he has. Whatever else you may say about him, the guy knows where the net is & goals win games!" Viduka mused.
Whether or not The Potters can maintain their early season form remains to be seen but, at this stage, the big Aussie is clearly delighted with his new look squad & the performances they've produced.
