Still a mile away from the top two but certainly seeing some improved results!
To be fair 3rd is still a decent little finish if you can stay there

2016 Youth Intake Day

13 March, 2016

Today is my first youth intake day with Manchester 62. Now I am pretty excited to see who joins up but at the same time I am not really expecting any superstars. Hopefully these players can develop and make some sort of impact. As I was reviewing the players only one stood out to me. His name is Ignacio Rivera a goalkeeper. I was told he could become something someday and I hope he does.

March Recap

31 March, 2016

It was another positive month for the Red Devils as they had another great month of play in the Argus Insurance Premier Division. In the three league matches our boys were able to gain two victories and a draw. March was the first month all season long without a loss. Currently Manchester 62 is sitting comfortably in third place with a total of 40 points.

March started off with one of the biggest upsets this season beating Lincoln Red Imps by a score of 1-0. After that victory the Red Devils would fail to capitalize on the momentum form that match by finishing with a scoreless draw against Lynx. Finally against Britannica Manchester 62 would pick up three points after a 2-1 victory. The final match of the month saw the club advance to the semi final of the Rock Cup after a 3-1 victory over Glacis Utd.

Player of the Month:

Once again veteran attacking midfielder Jeremy Lopez had the best month of all the players as Manchester 62 has pretty much locked up third place, averaging a 6.95 over the last month. His passing accuracy has been close and he’s added two goals during the month especially his biggest in the season with a goal against Lincoln Red Imps.

Managers Thoughts:

A great month in the League where we’re sitting alone in third place, we just need to make sure we keep up the momentum in the final four matches of the season. The result against Lincoln has certainly helped with the players moods. Seeing Lopez continue his amazing form all month long has been really good. Did you know I almost released him before the season began, I was lucky I did not..

What to look forward to in March:
The next month will be extremely abbreviated with only two matches. The first is against Gibraltar United in the league, this match that takes place on the 9th will have us as the home side. The other match of the month is the Rock Cup Semi Final against Europa FC. We were chosen to be the host and are looking to advance to the final.

Still going strong, quality month apart for the result against a deodorant haha!
Still going strong, that poor start seems like a far off memory now!

Manchester 62 F.C. announce deal with Sondico

http://www.sondico.com/Images/PS/SOND/about-logo.jpg

Sondico will produce the new Manchester 62 F.C. 2016-17 Kits. The Red Devils today announced a record-breaking jersey deal with Sondico starting from the 2016-17 season, which allows the company to produce Manchester 62's kit for the first time in the history of the company. Sondico and the club have also reviled what the three kits will look like. The deal with Soindico will run until June of 2020

Really nice looking kits mate! :D
Great kits lad!
They're great, where can I buy one? :P
I like that third kit :O
Everyone Thanks you can all buy your favorite kits for €34 at the club shop haha
April Recap

1 May, 2016

April was a very short month for the club with two matches. This was all due to international callups where our boys played. The first match in the month was a 3-0 victory for the Red Devils in Premier League Action against Gibraltar United. The other match came in the Rock Cup Semi Final against Europa FC. This was a disappointing match as the Red Devils would get defeated by a score of 6-1.

Player of the Month:

With the month being so short there was really no player that could have been the player of the month as nobody really outshined anyone.

Managers Thoughts:
If there is one positive about the beating that Europa gave us is that we are going to Europe. The reason that we are going is because Europa and Lincoln are in the final and no matter the outcome we get to go to Europa League because they are also in the one and two spots on the table. This is going to be exciting

What to look forward to in May:
The final three matches of the season occur in the month and the Red Devils are looking to finish out strong. No matter the results of them or the team below them Manchester 62 have locked in third place for this season.

Hopefully you can finish the season on a high despite it not mattering. Good first season in Gibraltar
