the gonna make a brillant pairing, i knew when we got kranjcar for 2 mill tht we got the signing of the century

and i know it not nice for them but its great to say we got 6 midfielders tht we should be in the line up
them being

kranjcar modric palacois lennon then maybe huddlestone and jenas to supply cover for all of them

i think huddy just abit inexperince and abit trigger happy when he comes to shooting, reminds me of lampard, shoots 20 times a games from outside the box hoping one will be on target, watched a couple of times last couple of weeks and it seems everytime he gets the ball he blasts hit towards the net

my only thing with getting petrov in is hes fast where kranjcar is abit slow, so if we need speed on tht flank we have someone in petrov
It is rumoured that Birmingham City are going to be the most active Premier league side during the transfer window .... thenew president Carson Young said the same thing ....for ow there are two almost 100% signings- Giles Barnes and Charles N'Zogbia ....hopefully there will be others ;)
two decent wingers, one for each side. nice :D

Talks abounding of £40million to spend! Some of us other clubs could only dream of suck figures...
im liking the £20m rumour that united is getting hulk!
As an Olympiakos C.F.P fan I 'd like to state that even my team's president is one of the best in club's history and is trying (maybe not as much as I would like him to be) to bring us to the next level, its really a pity how difficult things are for a team ,even a leading one, from a low profile league to accomplish.

We might be in the 16 best teams of Champions League but the clubs future is ,really, at stake.Quite easy opponets except Arsenal allowed as to be there today and luck brought as to face Bordeaux as next opponent. Not an easy one but last year's Olympiakos could dream of qualification in the elite 8 of the competition.
In summer we made cheap moves as Zairi that proved helpfull, but the great AML we've been waiting to replace the great captain Djordjevic never showed up.

I am saying all these above cause a team that applies for the next step in their history needs an organised background.Better coaches , better facilities and better scouting. Also we need a manager to be given full authorisation in what has to do with transfers and at least for once let him work for oven one season.

I am saying all that simply because we give money in vain when we have spent 10 mil. € on 21 year old striker Diogo that will never evolve into a great player as things are now...not forgetting our next moves such as Ben Arfa that will end up reminding Zairi if he continues his career to us.

I am really sorry to remember 10 years ago three teams to begin almost from the same level as OLYMPIAKOS and today are so better than us,with European titles and players that any great team would love to have....and these teams are Olympique Lyonnais and Porto FC...

I really hope that thing will change and our management is willing to make our dream come true...until then we can sign free ,over 32 years old players,as only they can keep us decent in any competition.

I wish you all a happy new year and FOOTBALL MANAGER victories when our beloved clubs fail to make it happen !!!

Hey all... I'm Portuguese and I support Sporting CP (Sporting Lisbon)...
First of all, I don't think signing Hulk is a great option, I watch FCPorto's matches almost every week and his style of playing is just pace and strength, that works here because the referees protect him whenever he falls and believe me that happens a lot! I really doubt he would have any success in English Football.
Now as for my team, we have already signed Sinama-Pongolle and João Pereira, a wing-back, from the sensation team this season FC Braga.
I'm really looking forward to seeing Sinama-Pongolle playing, in FM09 he was usually the top scorer in the Portuguese Liga, since Benfica signed him.
I'm sad to hear the news that Miguel Veloso may be leaving to Fiorentina, he's my favourite player since he was promoted from the youths, c'mon he's great isn't he? ;P
But we also need a left wing-back and a centre-back...
Let's see what really happens... ;)
hulk is pace and strenght? that is the blueprint to a successful english striker, but i don't like divers, not even the genious of ronaldo got away with that side of his game, hulk would be disliked.

i also heard van nistelrooy has turned down liverpool, because he used to play for united, if this is true then i have an even greater respect for the guy
Hulk is an absolute diver! I think Dzeko would be a far better player for Man Utd.
The only top flight league that Hulk would flourish in would probably be La Liga because it is not so physical compared to the EPL or Serie A. What Man Utd needs is a towering striker who is effective at TEAM OFFENSE, someone who can play with Rooney. Berbatov lacks the chemistry or the mentality to partner up and link with Rooney.
I think the ideal singing for united would be Dzeko or Huntelaar. Both players are big and can play the target man role and play with Rooney. The only problem is AF will not spend on them because he has Berbatov.
What about Milevsky? He's a towering and powerful striker to cope with EPL and I think would do well with Rooney.
we need to tell fergie this! jus get dzeko!
SAF: Then Dzeko it is! :shock He actually listened to the fans' transfer wishes.
Godman : I think the ideal singing for united would be Dzeko or Huntelaar. Both players are big and can play the target man role and play with Rooney. The only problem is AF will not spend on them because he has Berbatov.

huntelaar is shit tbh.

united dont really have a problem in the striking department. there are some players who are being inconsistent, lacking efficiency and creativity to create something everytime.

but yh dzeko would be a good signing.

but we should have signed a great winger in the summer.
