I personally think Borchert is the pick of the bunch, but I'm in agreement: it's not a good intake. Who's your current HoYD? And is there someone better that could come in and replace him? Bringing through players from the youth setup to the first-team is incredibly important for a club like 1860, considering the size of their transfer budgets and the stature of the club.
Borchert could be nourished into a decent squad player in the future, he definitely shows some promise, but I don't think it will be anytime soon that he will be at that level, that's for sure.
Not the best youth intake, however 2 players that can reach good level.
Nice season so far! That youth intake is a bit rough but a couple decent players is better than none!
A bit of a stinker, in truth, but you can't always get a golden generation! The next one should be good!
Looks like you have at least 2 prospects who'll easily get in the first team in a couple of years, I hope you have some managers for the youth
Meh, certainly not the best crop of players coming in this year.

Results

In a month which saw 1860 Munich play just three matches, 1860 Munich started with a poor performance against VfB Stuttgart before stringing together consecutive victories against TSG Hoffenheim and VfL Wolfsburg without conceding a goal.

Bundesliga

Bayern Munich have maintained their lead at the top of the Bundesliga table while 1860 Munich have made themselves a surprise contender for the European places after being predicted for relegation at the start of the season.

SV Werder Bremen have begun to slip away at the bottom of the table and find themselves strong relegation candidates alongside FC Koln.

Player Of The Month

Lisandru Tramoni

After a very poor season where Lisandru Tramoni had yet to score in sixteen matches providing only one assist, he has begun to find form with some solid performances in March. In the victory over TSG Hoffenheim, Tramoni proved the difference by finding the back of the net, going on to also provide an assist in the win over VfL Wolfsburg.

Despite a good month, the 19-year-old winger may face some competition for his place. 1860 Munich manager Daniel Bierofka has recently spoken to the media about his admiration for AS Monaco winger Amadou Traore, who is currently on loan with En Avant Guingamp.

Injury Report

Alban Lafont

Suffering from a virus for the past two weeks, the French goalkeeper may not be available for the first fixture of the month against rivals Bayern Munich.

Fixtures

With just eight matches left in the Bundesliga season, every match is vital for 1860 Munich who find themselves in position to potentially qualify for a European competition next season.

1860 Munich face rivals Bayern Munich to start April as well as taking on two relegation candidates in SV Werder Bremen and FC Koln at home with an away fixture against Fortuna Dusseldorf in between. In the last match of the month, an Antonio Conte led Borussia Dortmund await in a tough match up.

Everyone: Honestly this would be the worst intake so far in the save, the others have produced quality, I am happy with the set up.
You lost the game I thought you would win, and won the games I thought you might struggle in! Ultimately: a good month of results. 5th to 9th on the table is so tight, you're going to have to consistently get points to avoid dropping right down the table!

Two brilliant victories over two decent sides to keep 1860 within touching distance of Europe, but things are incredibly tight, so one slip could land a huge blow!
Two good wins there but there are 2 very big games next month and would be brilliant if you could get a result in them. Fingers crossed you can get that well earned European spot
I'll be following this with earnest!

Capturing European football would be an incredible accomplishment in your second season back in the Bundesliga.

really starting to push for those Europa League places now..
Well and truly in the hunt for Europe now. I would say any less would be failure ;)
