and in UEL itself, your team is working the way they should

1860 Munich Upset RB Leipzig In DFB-Pokal

Robin Hack led the way along with Kasper Dolberg as 1860 Munich defeated RB Leipzig

1860 Munich 2 - 1 RB Leipzig

Going into the DFB-Pokal Second Round fixture, 1860 Munich had not defeated RB Leipzig in five past meetings since their return to the Bundesliga. A record that Robin Hack appeared determine to correct when he opened the scoring within the first ten minutes of the match after being played through by Kasper Dolberg and converting a tough chance. RB Leipzig would go on to produce more chances for the rest of the half but fail to find the back of the net.

Immediately after the start of the second half, Robin Hack and Kasper Dolberg would connect again, this time with Dolberg getting on the end of a cross from Hack to increase the lead. Despite being behind, RB Leipzig would not rest, continuing to attack and apply pressure which resulted in 1860 Munich midfielder Lothar Piller receiving a second yellow card multiple fouls in the 69th minute.

The pressure increased and 1860 Munich would eventually break early into injury time when Abdulkadir Omar scored in the first minute of injury time to leave Die Löwen with a tricky five minutes to negotiate which they did so successfully to seal the upset victory.

“I am thrilled that we have been able to upset RB Leipzig but there is still a long way to go in the competition.” said Robin Hack. “I am sure they will be looking to return the favour when we play them again in the Bundesliga in three days time.” he added.

In other matches, Schalke 04 also provided another shock result, defeating Bayern Munich to eliminate them from the competition. In the next round, 1860 Munich have drawn recently promoted Bundesliga side Hamburger SV with the match to be played at the start of February while their next match

TheLFCFan, Jack, ScottT & OneMoreGame: The inconsistency between performance in the Bundesliga and Europe is incredibly frustrating.

Tango: Looking back on this, you are on the money here, I felt like I was much further away.
Always nice to end a losing streak against a particular club, now it's time to get the league form up to scratch! You're not too far behind 5th and 6th, so it shouldn't take long to catch them, but your squad will need to be a bit more consistent domestically! Continental football wise: you're doing extremely well. Keep up the good work man :)

Big result against Leipzig and hopefully that's what's needed now to kick start your season in the league now
A massive win and with Bayern also knocked out of the competition, it will certainly open up the draw a little with a number of teams beginning to fancy their chances.
Very nice result, which hopefully sets you up for success in the Pokal this season!
answering your answer: throughout the first matches all that matter are the points, if you get a good run you'll quickly start to climb up the standings

and I can't believe God will allow me the chance to say FUCK RBL in two stories at the same day

FUCK RBL

Thank you, God
Well that's one of the big boys out of the cup which should make your chances of winning the cup much larger!
Massive victory and an added bonus has to be Bayern being knocked out. Brilliant stuff!

J_ames: I feel like now we have made a little progress in turning our domestic form around.

tedbro20, ScottT, Zed, Jack & TheLFCFan: RB Leipzig and Bayern Munich being eliminated certainly opens up the DFB-Pokal.

Tango: Not a fan of RB Leipzig are you haha!
An important month ahead with plenty of opposition towards the wrong-end of the table. November has shown signs of Munich slowly finding their feet once again. The Europa League campaign has been fantastic though!
A much better month but next month will be key with 12 points up for grabs and against teams that you should be beating
Not a fan of RBL am I.

Dominant month, I can see this team charging to the top

The title is already off the table, but UCL is within reach
You're the draw specialists in the Bundesliga this season! Some great results this month, things are slowly [but surely] improving, and it's only a matter of time before you climb up the table.
Brilliantly back into things here, well done. Your performance in Europe so far has been exemplary!
