Another new year is upon us with the release of Football Manager 2021 and once again the stories section is back. We have already seen writers both new and old begin their adventures so far this year and can't wait to see how many more join the story writing ranks throughout the season.

Here, just like last year, we will keep the winners of the Story of the Month competition winners as well as the Story of the Year winner. There will also be a few links to other areas of the site we think will help anyone wishing to start a story.


We look forward to seeing everyone's stories across the year and hopefully we continue to see the community grow.

Story of the Month - November 2020 Winner




The first winner of this years Story of the Month award goes to Aaron with his Sir Alex Ferguson Challenge. Aaron claims the win with over 35% of the votes and his great start to the year has been well rewarded.

Story of the Month - December 2020 Winner




The final Story of the Month winner for 2020 has been confirmed, with Jack claiming his first win of FM21. His story, Tyrone Henry: A Changing Attitude, is already closing in on the one hundred reply mark and his continued efforts have been rewarded this month.

Story of the Month - January 2021



For the first time in FM21 we have a two way tie for our Story of the Month contest, with both J_ames and Jack sharing 37.5% of the votes. J_ames has begun his story, "Igor Brníc - Destination Unknown", with an impressive amount of consistency and quality. Whilst Jack fresh off his win last month continued to impress in his story "Tyrone Henry: A Changing Attitude".

Story of the Month - February 2021



He has his hattrick! Congratulations to Jack on once again winning the Story of the Month, his third of the year and his third in a row. Jack's journey with Millwall remains a firm fan favourite of the forum and I personally look forward to seeing what comes next for Tyrone!

Having taken a break from writing, this months Story of the Month winner, ScottT has returned with a bang. Scott's work, Ross McAloone: A Tale of Redemption, has entertained with every update, something I am sure will continue.

Story of the Month - April 2021



Our first International based, Story of the Month winner has been confirmed, with Justice claiming April's award. His journey with John O'Shea as Ireland manager in "Amhrán na bhFiann" has gotten off to an excellent start and has received 50% of the polls votes. Congratulations Justice on a well deserved win.

Story of the Month - May 2021



Back to back, Justice claims his second Story of the Month win in a row, with his newest story, "A Viking's Tale". Bringing back a former forum favorite in Kalle Koskinen, Justice has seen a return to his story based style of writing with great success and claims 75% of this months vote.

Story of the Month - July 2021



Justice claims his hattrick of story of the month wins for this year as his story, "A Vikings Tale" claims July's poll. Just the second writer to claim three wins so far this year, Justice's tale from the second tier of Finland has seen him climb the ranks, entertaining the readers with every post.
