You know the drill.

Genie Scout 11 beta 2 is released. But since it is still a beta, it's natural that there might be some bugs we couldn't find while beta testing the scout ourselves.

So if you're having trouble with version 1.00 beta 2 (build 128), please post in this topic!

BEFORE YOU POST, READ 3 SIMPLE STEPS HOW TO DO IT PROPERLY!

Thank you :)

Upload your save game
I don't have enough bandwidth to upload my savegame which is over 150MB.
The program doesn't start for me to load my game anyway.
I'll upload a newly saved game of about 30MB later today if that helps.

Post explanation
I use Windows 7 32 bit Pro
Run GScout beta 2 as administrator.
I have the latest Flash Player, and Java 6 Update 23 installed.

I get the following error:

Program run as far as:

SOLVED

Thanks to sgra suggesting I re-do the Flash player install, I managed to get Genie loaded.

I went to Adobe Flash Player link to uninstall it.
Uninstall Flash Player

Running it, I was prompted to close Opera. I think Opera and FF uses the same Flash plugin. Chrome has Flash integrated. So, I closed Opera.
I also ran the following command:
regsvr32 C:\Windows\System32\Macromed\Flash\Flash10mg.ocx\Flash10m.ocx /u ... (change it as appropriate).

Close Chrome. Restart PC. Install Flash Player without having any browsers open. Run extracted genie11_setup_b128.exe to install at <C:\FM Genie Scout 11>. Go to the FMGenieScout.exe file's Properties, and set it to run as Administrator. Once that is done, double-click the file or the icon on the desktop. Et voila!

Thank you to Eugene, Stam, sgra. :D :D :D

I tested loading the game file and it works! :))
it wont launch on XP... several of my friends have tried, but it wont get any further than "Loading GUI Data" until it crashes
Works perfect for me.

Launching as non-administrator stops at a certain point (it already did in the previous version).

Running as administrator makes it work perfectly.

Thank you Eugene and Fmscout.
I have this bug only in the ads-free version (g). When I do a search the names don't appear.

Same save as the previous report:

EDIT: When I try to narrow the search GS11 returns nothing.
runs smoothly here to :D

i haven't noticed if the division issue was fixed yet, but when i start another game i will take a look!

keep FMing!

I had the same problem, and I resolved updating again Flash Player (that I had already updated for the first beta). So try to update again Flash Player (it doesn't matter if you have already done it before this release) and try to run it.
This has been the right solution for me.
Many thanks to Eugene, Stam and the rest of FM Scout team, works like a charm now. :-X

Many thanks for producing the latest beta to Eugene, and to Stam for making it available...

I have a problem which is still in the current version.

This happens on all of my save games. If I select my team using the filter by squad option, and then select export to csv the "Best Rating" and "Best Potential Rating Rating" are output as values in the format "1,070" as opposed to "64.68% (W)"

I apologise if I have missed this being reported previously.

This failed in the initial release when exported to csv, but worked when exported to a text file. However, this no longer appears to work with my save games.

I have created a saved game that replicates the problem which may be downloaded from

http://www.4shared.com/file/p8nz_g9O/USA.html

With examples of the html and csv output here

Many thanks...

Same as Funkyflirt. Watch the division's names.

It happens the same if I add "Division" to the player columns...
