New England 3-1
It was a great match from Seattle players and they deserve this victory against New England at Gillette Stadium, Foxboro Massachusetts. There was only 1 goal in first half as in 33rd minute Seattle’s attacking midfielder Brad Evans had scored his 3rd goal of the season which makes him one of best goal scorers for Seattle this season so far. New England equalized just 1 minute after break and their central midfielder Hunter Christiansen had scored. In 67th minute Seattle took lead as their left winger Steve Zakuani had scored his second goal of the season. The last goal of the match came in 83rd minute and was scored by Eddie Gaven.
Houston 0-0
Well a goalless draw. Houston had played better in this match but they just could put ball into Bialkowski’s net. In this match there was a lot of yellow cards and most of them went to Seattle players as they received huge amount of 5 yellow cards meanwhile where Houston got only 1 yellow card. In this match there weren’t any players who had received a higher rating than 7.4 and these ratings were awarded to 2 Houston players Kevin Alston(right back) and Eddie Robinson(central defender and also man of the match)
San Jose 1-1
Second draw in the raw for Seattle and last match where San Jose got any points in month May. In first half of the match there was no goals at all. First goal come in 75th minute and it was scored by Seattle’s right back James Riley unfortunately he put ball into his own net. Goal for Seattle came 5th minutes later and was scored by one of best midfielders in a team Steve Zakuani. The same player was awarded man of the match with highest rating of 7.5.
D.C. United 2-1
Team from Washington(DC) played slightly better than team from state of Washington. But it was Seattle who got precious three points. Like in last Seattle game until half-time the score was 0-0 and the first goal come in 75th minute and was scored by Swedish defensive midfielder Erik Friberg. Seattle double their lead just 7 minutes later thanks to top goalscorer ever for Seattle Blaise Nkufo. D.C. United got back into the game in 86th minute by goal from Chris Pontius but after that they couldn’t put ball into Keller’s net. Only 1 player got higher rating than 8.0 and it was first goal scorer Erik Friberg who was also named man of the match.
Philadelphia 6-1
Great match for Seattle as they absolutely destroyed Philadelphia Union at their home ground PPL Park in Chester(PA). This match didn’t start well for Seattle as just after 3 minutes into the game Philadelphia got lead thanks to goal scored by Sainey Nyassi who got his second goal this season for team. Seattle had equalized late in first half in 31st minute and goal scorer this time was Blaise Nkufo. The same player scored yet another goal in first half 12 minutes later to give Seattle 2-1 lead before half-time. Seattle increased their lead in 57th minute thanks to goal by US right winger David Estrada. Blaise Nkufo completed his hat-trick in 64th minute and Seattle had 4-1 lead at that point of match. Alecko Eskandarian had scored his 1st goal of the season in 85th minute of this match. The last goal of the match come in 90+1st minute of the match and was scored by unstoppable Blaise Nkufo who scored his 7th goal this season in 3 appearances this season.
