MLS League Results
Columbus 2-0
Not so good win for Seattle as they might have win in this game but Columbus was definitely playing better as you could see from the match stats that Columbus had higher numbers in nearly all of match stats. Seattle had only higher in shots on goal with 3 to 2, tackles won with 71% to Columbus 63% and with average rating with 7.04 to 6.61 for Columbus. First goal came 15 minutes after half time in 60th minute and it was scored by incredible goal scoring left winger Steve Zakuani who is one of top Seattle’s goal scorer ever. Eddie Gaven had double Seattle’s lead in 71st minute to score his 15th goal overall in the league for Seattle.
Colorado 1-0
Another win for Seattle which makes it 18th win of the season in just 23 games which is really great result. In this match Rave Green was playing better than in match against Columbus but only managed to score 1 goal which made this important win. In match facts Colorado had more greater numbers in slightly more match facts than Seattle but Seattle had more in average rating with 7.19 to 6.84. They also had more in on target shots with 5 to only 1 and they had more headers won with 77% to only Colorado’s 43%. The only goal in the match came just after kick off in 4th minute of the match and it was scored by central defender Leone Cruz who had scored for the first time in the league since 2010 season.
D.C. United 4-1
Great victory in this match as it is first in which Seattle managed to score 4 goals since last season and in this match Rave Green had conceded for the first time in the league in 8 last games. This is first game in September where Seattle had more higher numbers in match facts and opposition. First goal came in 14th minute and it was scored by US central midfielder Stephen King and D.C. United had lead. Equalizer came 3 minutes before half time and goal scorer was Roger Levesque who has good chance of being top goalscorer this season. In 53rd minute D.C. United’s striker Will Bruin had been sent off because he got his second yellow card of the match. Seattle took their first lead in 76th minute as their attacking midfielder Brad Evans had scored 2nd goal of the season. Steve Zakuani had made 3-1 in 82nd minute of the match and Seattle had definite win at that point of the match. In second game against Columbus in September, Settle had been playing better but they could not finish their chances to score a goal and take away 3 points from Ohio. North American Champions League Group Stage:
America(MEX) 0-2
Not a great start of the North American Champions League Group Stage for Seattle as they draw yet another Mexican team who is a lot better than Rave Green and they probably won’t get into 1st place in the group stage like in previous seasons. It was poor performance for Seattle players at home as they were crushed by America(MEX) as in match facts they only were better in fouls and received yellow cards. First goal came in 64th minute of the match and it was scored by Mexican central midfielder Luis Ernesto Perez who played his third season for America(MEX). Just after 4 minutes team from Mexico had double their lead thanks to goal scored by right midfielder Julio Cesar Robledo who was in good form in this match earning third highest rating in this match 7.7.
Vancouver 1-0
First win for Seattle in group stage of NACL 2012 in match where Vancouver had a lot more chances than US team but in match stats both had been separated in equally between both teams. Seattle had higher average rating with 7.06 and it was better than Vancouver’s than 0.43. The only goal came in 45+2th minute and it was scored by left winger Steve Zakuani
2014 World Cup Qualification with Uruguay:
Bolivia 4-2
In first match under management of Seattle’s manager Uruguay had won their 4th win in 2014 World Cup Qualification and they managed to get into 3rd place thanks to this win. First goal came in 10th minute and it was scored top goalscorer and most capped player Diego Forlan. Second goal came in 36th minute Diego Delgadillo(not real player) who put ball into his own net to make it 2-0 lead for Uruguay. 3 minutes after half time Bolivian attacking midfielder Diego Suarez had scored his 3rd goal for Bolivia. Uruguay had made 3-1 in 62nd minute as Edison Cavani had scored his 15th goal for national team. In 75th minute Marcelo Moreno had scored another goal for Bolivia to made score 3-2. The final goal came in 81st minute Diego Lugano had made score goal for 4-2 and he scored his 5th goal for Uruguay.
Venezuela 3-0
In second match under management of Maciej Dabrowski Uruguay had managed to win second match in the row to moved to 2nd place in World Cup Qualification South America Qualifying Section with 2 points behind 1st Argentina who played 1 match more than Uruguay. First goal came 2 minute before half time and it was scored by Diego Godin who scored his 5th goal for Uruguay. In 60th minute Abel Hernandez had scored his 1st ever goal for Uruguay. The last goal came in 62nd minute and it was scored by Juventus right winger Jorge Matinez who managed to score his 2nd goal for National Team.
