The match started badly as Jones allowed Mata to score a well executed goal. Then came the United response, In the 26th minute Hernández got the equalizer and then a Chelsea error at the back allowed Hernández to score again. After half time Hazard scored a powerful effort. Then another error by Chelsea allowed Rooney to score. Vidić then completed the scoring with a bullet header in the 74th minute.
