Every lovestory has its end
I'm honestly sad about leaving, but it's time to move on, I only wish I would have ended things better...
I've been going on about my pride of this project, so I'm not gonna' bore you by elaborating futher about it. It's been great and I wish all the fans, staff and players all the luck in the world!
Now it's on to the next project, and the candidates are:
I've also got some offers that I've postponed a week so all'n'all my options are:
- Man United (wagebudget €1.9mil/w trasferkitty €24mil)
- Napoli (wagebudget €1.5mil/w trasferkitty €7.8mil)
- Valencia (wagebudget €825k/w trasferkitty €24mil)
- Juventus (wagebudget €2mil/w trasferkitty €10.5mil)
- Porto (wagebudget €800k/w trasferkitty €13mil)
The logical option would ofcourse be Juve or United, however I'm not a fan of living on arab oilmoney (read Juve) and if I'm going to England it's either going to be a very special deal (which this is close of being though) or the club at me heart - Liverpool. Out of the other clubs Porto aren't really that interesting, they play in a small (somewhat) leauge and aren't superior to Anderlecht money-, arena- or moneywise. Valencia would give me the chanse to take on the titans Real and Barca, but with their lack of funds I'm not sure if it's possible in the kind of timewindow I'm aming at. You might think this only leaves Napoli because of ruling out the other clubs, but their current (2012 irl) side are amongst my favourites, and having San Paolo as my basecamp is nothing short of a dream. The team has enough money to attract stars but also provides room for developing yougsters. The only big con here is the restriction of importing non-EU players from South America, which, as you know, is a speciality of mine... So after taking all of this into concideration, along with some other things I didn't have the energy to write about, I've decided to take on Maradonas herritage, on with the renaissance!
