A scrappy game, but i did field a rather weak team. I decided to rest my key players because they are vital for the Premier League. Hernandez was poor today, snatching at chances and playing without confidence. Im going to start him in more matches to help build up his confidence again!

Hernandez played very well, putting in the perfect poachers performance. Rooney was a little quiet however. The midfield made easy meat of the opposition and controlled the game nicely. Felipe Anderson played well too, but got too tired to continue so switched him for Pogba, who came on and scored, which was great to see

Poor performance from the front men. We created a fair few chances but Cavani and Rooney were not doing anything upfront, which was highly frustrating. Fletcher hasnt been performing well either and its becoming rather annoying. I may be looking to sell him in the January window.

Rooney was terrible today! Im going to have to give him a rollocking and maybe even a fine. He seemed unusually lazy, and lacked the drive to get the ball and score. Gotze has hit a but of form recently and is showing a lot of promise down the left flank.

Great performance from everyone to secure an emphatic win. You may be wondering why i played such a strong team against such a weak team, but it was a matter of improving confidence in the players. Rooney needed a boost as did Fletcher, and they got exactly that! It was a pity that we had to concede two goals in the process, but at least we put in a load of goals which made it worthwhile!

Sluggish start, and Monterry couldve been 2-0 up within the first 25 minutes. But we came back nicely, pressing quickly and winning the ball back. before attacking smoothly. Gotze ran riot down the right flank, and scored two well deserved goals!

Once again the front men failed to turn up!! And it was a poor show in the penalty shootout with some terrible misses. There was nothing else to say. We did deserve to win, but alas it wasnt to be!
