An easy win, without much fuss. Rotated a little bit today to give everyone a chance. In some senses injuries have been a blessing because they give the other players a chance too! Vrsaljko played brilliantly down th right, getting forward well, and tirelessly tracking back to defend any attacks

Shakey match but im glad we won. We definitely played better than then, but we couldnt make all of our chances pay, which was a little annoying! Gotze made a good comeback from injury scoring in his first match, and winning man of the match.

The main roundup of the transfer window was Man City buying Luka Modric for £30mil

Great show from everyone today. I was particularly impressed with Cleverly who played tremendously, and spread the ball around superbly. He also linked up very well with Hernandez, playing the small one twos before threading the ball through perfectly to Hernandez for a shot on goal.
Formation:

For those that are confused as to which 4-2-3-1 formation i use, see the below pic. I do not use the preset formation which the computer gives

A great win against our rivals! The team played well, though the midfield was a little quiet. Im not complaining though as they all did their jobs well. The defence did very well, especially with Evra and Rafael exploiting the wings nicely. Cavani was top notch as usual, bagging himself two good goals

A good win for the youngsters! Anderson has been putting in some good performances lately, and today was no different. He linked well with Felipe Anderson and Cleverly which was pleasing to see. We could have been further ahead but we had 3 goals disallowed!!

A good away performance, and we probably shouldve scored one or two more. We put in a solid defensive performance too, and the midfield supported the back line well, but it was a pity to concede at the end! Felipe Anderson is really coming along nicely and is putting in some brilliant performances

It was annoying that we had to go into extra time in order to secure the win. The midfield was quiet, and Cavani was snatching at his chances. But all in all im happy that we have won the League Cup!
English Premier Division - 6 Mar 2013

Man Utd vs Chelsea (Home)

MOTM: Felipe Anderson (9.1)

Great performance, especially from Felipe Anderson. I was hoping he would take charge of the midfield today, and he most certainly did. Hazard has been quiet lately, but man had Felipe Anderson stepped up his game. Brilliant performance too from Asamoah who scored a great long range effort, and dug in nicely breaking up a lot of Chelsea's attacking moves
