Season has been up and down. Had a few poor performances but im confident that i can still pip City to the league. Im currently 2nd - 2 points behind with 10 games to go
Im playing a 4-4-2, De Gea, Rafael, Rio, Vidic, Evra, Nani, Modric, Asamoah, Cleverly, Rooney, Chicharito.
I brought in Modric and Asamoah so strenghten the middle of the park but i also play Pogba as often as possible. Ive an agreeement in place to bring in Yaya Sanogo and Leandrao Damiao in the summer
Leandro Damiao has been on my radar too, but i dont think we need another striker. You should look to bring in Edinson Cavani. He is a quality signing and fits in perfectly at Man Utd.
Rooney won January player of the month, Hazard won the young player of the month, and i won manager of the month.
Chelsea were the biggest spenders in the January transfer window spending £53mil. They bought Hulk, Ganso, Toby Alderweireld and Lucas Piazon.
I am currently sitting 18 points clear at the top of the table, which is extremely pleasing. Some may say that we have bought the title with out massive spending during the summer, but i felt they were necessary. The players that came in were all young and have brilliant prospects ahead of them.

We were all over them, but only scored 2 goals. I decided to promote Pogba to the first team to give him some exposure. Rooney has been scoring bags of goals this year. He tally is now 24 goals in the premier league, top of the goal scoring charts. Cavani tops the assist table, with 11 assists.

Walked over West Brom. Rooney was absolutely outstanding today, as was Valencia. They both ran the opposition defence ragged. West Brom just couldnt cope. We were literally camped in their half for long periods of the game. Vidic was fantastic from the set pieces too, with brilliant movement, as well as attacking the ball aggressively, he fully deserved his two goals.
Season is going good so far mate, good luck for the rest of the season too

This was truly a tough match. They attacked well, which limited out attacking abilities. Valencia once again pulled out a top performance and really ran at the defence at every opportunity. When Villarreal equalised so late in the game, i really thought that we would have to be content with a draw, but luckily Rooney bagged a winner late in stoppage time; and i did have to feel sorry for Villarreal. But this result puts us in good stead for the home game.

We came out guns blazing, and really took the match to Liverpool. They didn't know what hit them, and they were 2-0 down before they knew it. We continued to control the game in the first half, leaving the pitch 3-0 up. However, when the second half kicked up, Liverpool were a different team. They passed the ball quickly and Suarez grabbed a goal back within the first 5 minutes. I subbed Hernandez on, to create that counter attack threat, whilst Liverpool pushed for another goal. Though he didnt score, he ensured the opposition defence couldnt push higher up the field. Valencia once again put in a superb performance with a few more assists. All in all a great win over our rivals.

FT: 1-1 Holden (2), Vidic (83)
MOTM: Vidic (7.7)
Top performers: Rafael (7.5)
A frustrating result. I decided to field a weaker team, in order to rest some key names and to give experience to the likes of Welbeck and Pogba, but their performances were poor to say the least! A stunning long range effort from Holden gave Bolton the early lead, and Man Utd never really recovered. Second half was more promising but still the finishing was poor and the chances scarce! Needless to say, i was not impressed.

Good game for us. We created quite a few clear cut chances but failed to take them. I was happy that Cavani managed to bag one goal, to ensure a much deserved win.

Once again a poor poor performance. Everyone seems to have become overly complacent due to out success in the Premier League and in the English Cup. Without Rooney I truly would be lost in the current predicament. Hazard was injured during the match, but will have to wait till the physios send in their report to see how bad the injury is. Gotze is playing in his favoured position and still isn't managing to fire! Any advice on how to get the best out of him would be appreciated.

I decided to field a younger side today to give them experience, and to build confidence. They didnt disappoint! Welbeck was the star of the show, being a constant thorn in the oppositions side. He created Hernandez's first goal, and kept toiling away but couldnt find the net himself. However in the 90th minute his efforts paid off, in a much deserved goal. Pogba put in a great performance too with some truly wonderful passing. Asamoah had a poor start, but at half time, i dressed him down and gave him some of the hair drier treatment, and second half, he came out a different person, putting in the performance i expected from him. Hernandez came on for Owen who suffered a knock early on, and his poaching skills were on show today, and he was unlucky not to have had a hat-trick.
