There have been some changes in the schedule due to Europe League. This is the second time the Chelsea match has been postponed. It’s not just meant to be is it

EURO CUP 2ND KNOCKOUT ROUND

Congratulations with the silverware. About time we could start filling up the cabinets at Anfield. And not only shining the old ones. 7 years without a trophy is much for a traditional club like Liverpool. Lets hope this is the start of a new era in Liverpools history!

CONGGRATULATIONS SHAMELESS. You have done us proud! To bad about the FA cup though. You'll get it next year.

A last second goal might have saved us the title. Wernbloom made a studpid tackle from the behind and was sent off. Fined him a week’s salary. Unfortunately he is not the player I was looking for. He has failed to proven himself. I know it can take a while before coming into the team, but I am not definitely looking for invisibility in a player’s attributes. Coady impressed me but made the substitution just to be safe the last 10 minutes

SUMMARY

0-2 after 15 minutes was not what I had in mind at all. It was the Köln game all over again. It was all Stuttgart the first half with Suárez coming nowhere and Leiva and Skrtel played without any confidence. I’m very pleased with Stegens contribute who held the figures down. To the second I threw in Cavani to at least trying to save the game for the return. Although he had other goals in mind and goals he did yes. The whole team woke up after the equalizer Adam did with another free-kick goal. I took of Leiva as he still failed to deliver. Gerrard seemed to enjoy the roll as a pure central player with his two assists. I will try that couple of matches and see where it goes. Unfortunately he will be sidelined 7-8 days. Suárez will be put in the reserve squad until further notice. Guidetti will play. What a great comeback and I’m a very proud manager today

SUMMARY

We deserved this victory as well Lucas deserved the man of the match reward! We played fast football today. And what means even more, we played as a team. Great attacks with everyone involved. Best game of Luca so far with last season included. His second goal was a beautiful header with a dive of a cross by Guidetti. Lucas has recently played really poorly but he was reborn as footballer today which delighted me. Cavani continues his goal scoring. As it looks like, there is no stop to it. The situation with Cabaye was a bit funny. He tackled Leiva, got a yellow card and injured himself. A fun a day of coaching!

Intrigued by the under-performing Suarez! Have you tried any preferred move training like places shot with him or individual focus training on his finishing or composure?

RELISH THE RED

LEAGUE TABLE

First of all, Chelsea has just suddenly hired Moyes from Everton! I’m not sure what happened here. Hopefully Everton will bring a great manager to spice up the derby matches even more. And, will Jack Rodwell be available now with the departure of Moyes? I think this will affect the title race. How will Chelsea cope with the new manager; will they ruthlessly win the title or have Abramovich ruined it all? I´ve got Tottenham and Everton the two next games. Not ideal but I will cope with it and take my 6 point not to get too fair behind. At this point I really don't have anything to loose

UPCOMING FIXTURES

Figures, Chelsea moved on to later

EURO CUP

I must say that I’m pretty pleased with the draw against Ajax. We should advance from this round

I'm not sure what to do here to be honest. He is not into the game at all. Too selfish and slow with passing. Any suggestions? I'm open for everything
When I look at him in matches, for Liverpool anyway, he does seem to miss easy chances a lot of times. I would suggest you get him to train to place shots and increase either finishing or composure and see afterwards. Didn't your assistant manager suggest that to you already in backroom advice meetings?

No my assistant will get sacked after the season. He thinks is great loosing to Arsenal and should proud of it too. And other strange stuff. I regret I ever hired him X-( I wonder if David Platt would be up for it but his coaching attributes isnt the highest, yet anyway. Id like to have an English assistant.

I had Suárez train composure about 3 weeks. Ill put him on shots to start with now. Just had a calm chat with him now, explaining I wasn't pleased with his recent form. He promised to work harder. Hopefully it turns into some good performances. Don´t expect scoring each and every game but a good performance is what I demand of the players.

What a fluke by Arsenal yesterday btw :) Thanx for the advice mate
EDIT:

Starting with the Blackburn game I had written the wrong game week. The following matches have been updated with the right week now :)

SUMMARY

It was a match that was even until the 20th minute when Liverpool started to pressure high on the field. Thanks to our 12 shots on target we made Gomes to become man of the match. It was seen on the replay that Reina went to the bench to get a warm sweater, as he got cold of the three shots Tottenham had during the game. I didnt expect Tottenham play this and it would be a battle to the finish line. A bit disappointed about to be honest. I'm glad about the victory but a game like this should at least contain one yellow card. With van der Vaart transfer listed I do wonder what's going on. Five losses on the last seven games. This is not Tottenham

Yea, agree with you, total fluke, watched on tv yesterday. Should have won by at least 4 goals! Shame. Seems Carra was at fault for the first goal, he should have been in front of RVB

SUMMARY

Recipe for a derby win; Add 3 assist from Downing, 1 extra attacker in a form of Johnson, and let him score twice and pour 1 assist into that, Crack a ball on Leivas head and watch it fly over Howard … well anyways you can see where I’m going with this. Fantastic!! described with a single word. The team was really up for it today as Everton saw us outplay them in every position on the field. Two great wins and we´re set to compete for the title! Watch out! Liverpool´s ahead

SUMMARY

Two individual mistakes, two goals! The match started with 4 offside goals for us and two great saves by the Ajax keeper Vermeer. In the 20th minute Cvitanich has a run trough from the right corner which Reina for some strange reason thinks he should try run towards too. No worries here as the Ajax player rounds him and scores. There were defenders for that job but Mr. Pepe! The second was a stupid pass across the field towards the own goal from Garragher to Johnson with Eriksen in the between accepting the invite. Not even youth players act this way. We lost the game with those sequences. The players struggled the rest of the game, with some high pressure time to time but Ajax defended very well. Johnson injured couple of weeks as he has the last two seasons
