This was a terrible result for my team which I am very disappointed about , after we took the lead in 2 minutes I expected a rout but after the goal the team didnt seem interested. We had 20 shots but only 5 of them hit the target and considering the attackers we have I think we should of scored alot more of these chances. Falcao got injured and this is what forced him to be substituted and he will be out for 3 weeks which will be a huge blow. So after a very disappointing result we will have to play better in the next game. Thanks for reading.

Our first goal came from a great pass by Arda Turan who played Welbeck through on goal , where he found the net with a calm finish. The next goal came from a Walker cross which the keeper couldn't hold , and it fell straight to Welbeck leaving him with a simple tap in. Overall we deserved to win the game and we weren't really in any trouble. We had 58% possession and 9 shots , with 5 of them hitting the target.

Balotelli made the breakthrough after he dribbled the ball past 2 players and had his shot saved , he then finished it second time around when the ball fell straight to his feet.Our next goal came from another run by Balotelli but this time he pulled the ball back to Tiago on the edge of the area , who released a thunderous volley into the bottom corner. Arda Turan then won a penalty when he took it past a defender but was then brought down , and Filipe stepped up to take the penalty and smashed it into the top corner. A Defensive error then let Barral pull one back for Sporting. On the 74th minute Dominguez got his first goal of the season as Godin headed a corner back across goal and he had an open net at the far post.Sporting then got a second after Castro got on the end of a great cross by Lora. Diego then got our 5th goal after a great pass by Balotelli put him through one on one with the keeper and he kept his composure and finished well. We dominated this game and had 57% possession , we also had 25 shots and the opposition had only 4. It would of been nice to keep a clean sheet but we got the 3 points and that is this most important thing

It took just 5 minutes for Barcelona to take the lead when some poor marking let Pique have an easy finish at the back post after a quickly taken corner. Barca's second goal came from a corner where Puyol lost is man and headed home with ease. There 3rd was a great strike from Iniesta who found the top corner with a curling shot out of the reach of young keeper Courtois. Antonio Lopez then got sent off for a 2nd booking for a silly challenge on Lionel Messi , after this the rest of the team lost there discipline and Walker was sent off for a similar tackle on Alexis Sanchez. Godin then scored a consolation goal for us from a Gabi corner but any hopes of a comeback were slashed when Pique's header was saved by Courtois but Sanchez was the quickest to react and he finished it easily. Just to rub salt into the wounds a Xavi Cross was met at the back post by Pique who headed home his 2nd of the game. I never really expected to get much from this game but I was very disappointed with our defending as there scored a few goals from crosses. Unfortunately it ended our unbeaten run in the league but we have to concentrate on our next game which is away to Lazio in the Europa League.

Facing Barcelona is never easy, apart from that result your doing quite well

In this match I decided to go with a 4-4-2 formation because Lazio play with 3 at the back , the formation worked as we won but the game, but the match was dull and boring. Our goal came when an Antonio Lopez cross was headed back across net by Tiago to leave Arda Turan with a simple header. The possession was split 50%-50% and we had 12 shots to there 13. It wasn't a convincing win but it puts us back on track after our battering by Barcelona. Any feed back or advice on the story is appreciated.

This match was very disappointing one for us as we just couldn't break down Sevilla. On the 70th minute we switched to 4-3-3 but it didn't work. We had 55% possession and 23 shot but unfortunately we couldn't break them down.

The breakthrough in the game was made by Balotelli has he recieved the ball on the edge of the area and ran across the edge of the area, after he got past the 2nd man he smashed it low into the bottom corner. Balotelli then scored a 2nd when a clearance only got as far as Keita who head back into the path of Balotelli who finished well. The match finished 2-0 and the possession was 57% to us and 43% to them. We also had 13 shots to there 12.

P.S. Falcao is injured for another month as he came back from injury and got injured on international duty which is very annoying
