I'm a big fan of Sime Vrsaljko, go and sign him. Also Marc Andre ter Stegen (GK) is another signing for the future. I love your Munian signing...he's been awesome for me in all the saves I've signed him in. I'll think if there are any prospects for you...

#49607 mdlp1991 : A deserved red card for v. Persie

Can't really aruge on that one

Would love Sime Vrsaljko, but paying atleast £25.5M for him is steep, besides, already blown away my transfer budget with my last transfer for Marc Andre ter Stegen for £9M, just waiting for him to accept my contract offer.

Season 2 - Update

so now lets do an update on how I'm doing:

Premier League
Newcastle 0-3 Arsenal
Arsenal 4-2 Stoke
Chelsea 2-3 Arsenal

FA Cup 3rd round
Darlington 0-2 Arsenal

League Cup Semi Final Leg 1
West Brom 1-2 Arsenal

So a good run again after some upsets in a row, doing quite well in the league table.

My top scorers so far in the league
11 - Theo Walcott
7 - Mikel Arteta
7 - Robin Van Persie
6 - Laurent Koscielny
5 - Eden Hazard
3 - Gervinho

My top assisterss so far in the league
9 - Eden Hazard
8 - Alex Chamberlain
5 - Theo Walcott
4 - Mikel Arteta
4 - Andre Santos
3 - Iker Muniain (played 2 games, 1 as sub)
Seems that Walcott is someone you cant miss.

Nice win against Chelsea and yourself :D
ejay : Anyone have tips on a more defencive tactic i can use when I'm starting to struggle?
I'm thinking of more spesific then just a lineup, all from philosophy, strategy and team instructions etc.

For a good defensive tactic to work, your team needs to be rigid, disciplined, stick to position, aggressive in the tackles, no creative freedom, press more, man marking. I think that's pretty much it. If you'd like I can post a screenshot of team instructions tomorrow. Hope this helps...

Thank you, would love it if i could get a screenshot, but think I have an idea of what you mean even tho its not for giving up attacking play, is just vs. harder oponents.
instaed of buying sime vrsjalko i suggest cesar azpilicueta as he is twice as good :D

My scouts sais he will be extremely interested in joining my side, so might get somewhere with some mind games here when i get a new transfer budget. estimated lowest price now is £12.5M

Season 2 - again

Another early red card, dicipline seemes to come short at vital times with Martin Montoya getting sent off arround the 10th min vs. Manchester United, giving them powerplay during the whole match. Didn't stand a chance.

Naturally I wasn't very pleased with their preformance and let them know that too.

Fined Montoya 1 weeks wages, he accepted the fine.

Next season I'm gonna up the fine for direct red card, keeping with 1 weeks wages for now to be consistent during the same season.

Will be interesting not to have any RB to play, with Sagna being injured and not returning to light traing for another 9 days.

Disregard that post, seemes i get to have another go at it since my computer froze and refused to come back without a restart. so will have to do a few games over again.

And thank you GrassRootsAcademy, will help me to squeeze a tactic out.

Season 2 - Repitition

To rub salt in it all, when i went trough the 3 games i missed it turned out even worse, lsot against West Brom and ManU this time, but didn't get a red card, so is something, but still 3 points gone...

Season 2 - Big update

Now some time has passed and games have been won, games have been lost.
First, lets deal with the cups, will take along all matches here.

Champoins League
Arsenal 1-1 Inter
Inter 2-1 Arsenal

So didnt go very well, with having a red card in each of the games, Hazard had a horrendous tackle in the first game giving him a direct red card and a 3 match ban + a 2 week wages fine from me. In the 2nd game, Muniain got himself his 2nd yellow card in about the 60th min when i was down 2-0, managed to put one back, but was too late and had little power in the legs left. Muniain recieved a warning from me.

FA Cup
3rd Darlington 0-2 Arsenal
4th Arsenal 4-1 Blackpool
5th Arsenal 4-2 Burnley
6th Arsenal 3-0 Tottenham

A good run in the FA Cup, haven't been the hardest of fixtures witch has given me importunity to rest some players feeling relatively safe that the game will go well. Only real opopsition has to be Tottenham, but got a better result against them than what i did against Darlington. Meeting Fulham in the semi final and will either meet Blackburn or Liverpool in the final if the game against Fulham goes well.

League Cup
3rd Arsenal 3-1 Tottenham
4th Arsenal 2-0 Wigan
Qtr Cardiff 1-2 Arsenal
Semi(1) West Brom 1-2 Arsenal
Semi(2) Arsenal 3-0 West Brom
Final Arsenal 2-1 Manchester City

So yes! I won the League Cup with some good wins both against Tottenham and City, so I have secured atleast one trophie this year!

Premier League
Q.P.R. 0-2 Arsenal
Arsenal 2-0 Liverpool
Arsenal 1-3 Blackburn
West Brom 2-1 Arsenal
Arsenal 3-1 Wigan
Manchester United 3-0 Arsenal
Arsenal 1-1 Everton
Birmingham 0-4 Arsenal
Arsenal 1-0 Q.P.R.

Not doing all that bad in the league, but i am 10 pionts behind Manchester United who are 1st and me 2nd, Liverpool is chasing me 1 point behind and Manchester City with same amount of points, just lack the goal difference.

So here is my top goalscorers now in all competitions(with assists in the bracets):
19(6) Robin Van Persie
17(17) Theo walcott
14(8)Iker Muniain (14 games)
10(2) Gervinho
8(15) Eden Hazard
8(5) Laurent Koscielny
7(13) Mikel Arteta
5(9) Aron Ramsey
4(12) Alex Chamberlain
4(1) Per Mertesacker
4(2) Alex Song

That will be all for now, comment if you like. See you very soon.
Can I get a screen of walcott?
