Yes you have seen this name before, i have been sacked from my previous 2 files so i feel this could be third time lucky? Some will probably be bored of seeing the United/City/Chelsea stories however this is the team i support hard & don't have any interest managing any other team. One thing i will say now which i hope will please the readers is i won't be splashing the cash on big name signings..my plans are looking to the future, which will be across the world & more importantly from my own academy. Il also keep my eye on bright English stars especially as i dont want my team to be overrun by foreign players as the years progress. I hope you enjoy this, if you have no intention in following then it's simple..don't comment on it! Otherwise you are welcome to post your views as you see fit.

Pre Season Results

Major Staff & Transfer Activity

Alot of shifting about especially in the staff department, il point out the main activity points. I decided to terminate Mike Phelan's contract with immediate effect & bring in Elio Carravetta to replace him. Valter Di Salvo came in as a first team coach, i felt he could bring alot to the team. A number of scouts had there contracts terminated as i had no use for them. Among the transfers the only player to leave was Tomasz Kuszcack to Real Madrid for 1M. I bought Marek Hamsik from Napoli for 30.5M & Carlos Fierro from Chivas who will join us at the end of the season. A number of players went out on loan, the most notable ones are Michael Keane, Ben Amos & Larnell Cole.

Rooney Treble Gives Deverell Debut Win!

4-4-2
Line Up - David De Gea, Chris Smaling, Jonny Evans, Nemanja Vidic, Patrice Evra, Marek Hamsik, Anderson, Antonio Valencia, Nani, Javier Hernandez, Wayne Rooney
Subs Used - Darren Fletcher, Danny Welbeck, Ryan Giggs

The traditional curtain raiser this year was a Manchester Derby & it was also my first game as manager. A very fiesty affair with 7 yellow cards, it lived up to the hype..a hattrick in the space of 18mins in the second half from Wayne Rooney stole the show & handed us the first trophy of the season, hopefully they'll be more to come!

3 Points In The Bag On The Opening Day

4-4-2
Line Up - David De Gea, Chris Smaling, Jonny Evans, Nemanja Vidic, Patrice Evra, Paul Scholes, Anderson, Antonio Valencia, Nani, Dimitar Berbatov, Wayne Rooney
Subs Used - Tom Cleverley, Danny Welbeck, Phil Jones

A very strong opening day league win for us & that was mainly down to Nani's contribution. He gave us the lead after half an hour, 2 more goals followed soon after the restart from a Rooney penalty & Valencia before Ronnie Stam pulled one back for the away side. We wrapped up the win with another Rooney strike towards the end.

Manchester United 4 - 1 Wigan Athletic

The R's Sunk By Welbeck Hattrick

Line Up - David De Gea, Chris Smaling, Jonny Evans, Nemanja Vidic, Patrice Evra, Darren Fletcher, Marek Hamsik, Antonio Valencia, Nani, Danny Welbeck, Wayne Rooney
Subs Used - Ryan Giggs, Dimitar Berbatov

A fairly straightforward win for the team today..a great day personally for Danny Welbeck, given his first start of the season & he bags his first hattrick for the club, with Hernandez out injured for the next couple of weeks it could be a bright spell from the youngster.

Line Up - David De Gea, Chris Smaling, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic, Patrice Evra, Marek Hamsik, Tom Cleverley, Ashley Young, Nani, Danny Welbeck, Wayne Rooney
Subs Used - Michael Carrick, Javier Hernandez

3 wins out of 3 in the league and another fine performance by Danny Welbeck, following up his hattrick last week with a brace today. Ashley Young bagged the other goal against the club he came from in the summer, having spent 4 seasons at Villa Park.

Manchester United 3 - 0 Aston Villa

United's Group Revealed

United Hit 5 Against Flat Zenit Side

4-5-1
Line Up - David De Gea, Chris Smaling, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic, Fabio, Marek Hamsik, Darren Fletcher, Tom Cleverley, Antonio Valencia, Ashley Young, Wayne Rooney
Subs Used - Park Ji Sung, Javier Hernandez, Phil Jones

We weren't handed the easiest group of the lot however Zenit proved to be no threat to us tonight as we dominated throughout. Braces from Wayne Rooney & Ashley Young + a first of the season for Nemanja Vidic settled the tie in the first half & sent us top of the group on goal difference ahead of Napoli after there win in Dortmund.

Manchester United 5 - 0 Zenit St Petersburg

Emphatic Win At The Emirates

4-4-2
Line Up - David De Gea, Chris Smaling, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic, Patrice Evra, Marek Hamsik, Darren Fletcher, Park ji Sung, Nani, Danny Welbeck, Wayne Rooney
Subs Used - Ryan Giggs, Fabio, Javier Hernandez

This was a massive win as i originally looked at us getting a draw at the most so to win with this scoreline was something special & what was more special was a second hattrick for Danny Welbeck taking his tally to 7 for the season. It was not just the fact he scored 3 goals today it was the way in which he scored them which made it even more incredible..he is proving to be a special talent. Nani got the other goal with Arsenal's consolation coming from Park Chu Yong.

Reds Edge Cup Thriller At The KC

4-4-2
Line Up - Anders Lindegaard, Phil Jones, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic, Fabio, Paul Pogba, Michael Carrick, Adnan Januzaj, Ryan Giggs, Dimitar Berbatov, Javier Hernandez
Subs Used - Park Ji Sung, Will Keane, Paul Scholes

A great game of football between the champions of England & the championship outfit. Kevin Kilbane gave the home side the lead early on but Fabio equalised soon after with a fine strike. Aaron McClean put Hull back in front soon before half time, they deserved it as they had a fine first half however we turned up a gear in the second half. Will Keane put us level just past the hour, his first senior goal! With just under 10mins remaining Javier Hernandez crept in to give us the win..bring on round 4!

Hull City 2 - 3 Manchester United

Danny Welbeck stole the headlines yet again with yet another hattrick! Antonio Valencia, Nani & a first ever Manchester United goal for summer arrival Marek Hamsik stamped down the points despite a consolation goal from Nicklas Bendtner. We had an incredible 35 attempts on goal! Our winning start continues into October.

Manchester United 6 - 1 Sunderland

Golden Oldie Giggs Puts Italian Side To Rest

4-4-2
Line Up - David De Gea, Phil Jones, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic, Patrice Evra, Marek Hamsik, Tom Cleverley, Ashley Young, Nani, Danny Welbeck, Wayne Rooney
Subs Used - Javier Hernandez, Ryan Giggs

The trip to Italy turned out to be a nervy encounter but one we managed to pull through & leave with the vital three points. Ashley Young gave us an early lead & from then on it was very much an even game but sub Ryan Giggs sealed the win with a couple of minutes remaining..only downside was Nani going off at half time injured.

Napoli 0 - 2 Manchester United
