Hernandez Leaves His Mark On Goddison

4-4-2
Line Up - David De Gea, Fabio, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic, Patrice Evra, Marek Hamsik, Darren Fletcher, Antonio Valencia, Ashley Young, Danny Welbeck, Wayne Rooney
Subs Used - Ryan Giggs, Javier Hernandez

Goddison Park is never an easy place to come and get a result and this proved exactly that. We thought we were comfortable after 30mins when John Heitinga's own goal & another from Welbeck had us 2-0 up however 2 from Nikita Jelavic just before half time had them level. Up came Javier Hernandez with 3mins remaining to poke home & give us a much hard fought 3 points. On another note Ashley Young would face the next 3-4 months on the sidelines..

Everton 2 - 3 Manchester United

Routine Win At Old Trafford

4-4-2
Line Up - David De Gea, Phil Jones, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic, Patrice Evra, Anderson, Darren Fletcher, Antonio Valencia, Nani, Danny Welbeck, Wayne Rooney
Subs Used - Ryan Giggs, Michael Owen

This was as comfortable as it gets, only downside was we should of scored many more than we did. Another penalty converted by Wayne Rooney & Danny Welbecks 11th of the season kept up our winning run.

Manchester United 2 - 0 Norwich City

United Dominant In Europe

4-4-2
Line Up - David De Gea, Phil Jones, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic, Patrice Evra, Marek Hamsik, Anderson, Antonio Valencia, Ryan Giggs, Javier Hernandez, Wayne Rooney
Subs Used - Nani, Park Ji Sung

With Young injured & Nani tired i opted to give Ryan Giggs a start. Rio Ferdinand opened his account for the season early on & from then on we played some good stuff. We grabbed the second midway through the second half through Antonio Valencia & it was 3-0 with a little under 10mins to go, Hernandez the scorer. 3/3 in europe as we near the knockout stages.

Manchester United 3 - 0 Dortmund

Easy Win At Tricky Ewood

4-4-2
Line Up - David De Gea, Phil Jones, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic, Fabio, Marek Hamsik, Darren Fletcher, Antonio Valencia, Nani, Danny Welbeck, Wayne Rooney
Subs Used - Javier Hernandez, Tom Cleverley

With only 2 wins from there previous 10 at Ewood, this was a very good win for my team. The game was pretty much over by half time with goals from Marek Hamsik, Nani & a overdue goal from Wayne Rooney sealing the win. Phil Jones went off injured soon after the restart but turned out to be nothing serious.

Blackburn Rovers 0 - 3 Manchester United

United Finally Lose In Cup Tie

4-4-2
Line Up - Anders Lindegaard, Fabio, Jonny Evans, Nemanja Vidic, Zeki Fryers, Paul Pogba, Tom Cleverley, Park Ji Sung, Ryan Giggs, Dimitar Berbatov, Michael Owen
Subs Used - Will Keane, Paul Scholes

Nearly a month after our narrow win at Goddison, the home side got there revenge with a good win against our spirited bunch. We played some good stuff & held our own but were finally broken with 10mins to go through Roysten Drenthe. Nikita Jelavic sealed there place into the next round, sending us out but not disheartened as i felt we had a good game, Zeki Fryers particulaly impressed at left back.

Everton 2 - 0 Manchester United

Reds Bounce Back After Cup Heartache

4-4-2
Line Up - David De Gea, Chris Smalling, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic, Patrice Evra, Marek Hamsik, Paul Pogba, Antonio Valencia, Nani, Javier Hernandez, Wayne Rooney
Subs Used - Jonny Evans, Tom Cleverley, Will Keane

After the midweek disappointment i was looking for a response from my team & i got it, i also gave Paul Pogba his first league appearance. The game was settled after half an hour the goals coming from Javier Hernandez & Wayne Rooney. We stay top with our perfect start continuing.

Manchester United 2 - 0 Fulham

Reds Reign Supreme In Classic German Encounter

4-4-2
Line Up - David De Gea, Fabio, Jonny Evans, Nemanja Vidic, Patrice Evra, Darren Fletcher, Paul Pogba, Antonio Valencia, Ryan Giggs, Javier Hernandez, Dimitar Berbatov
Subs Used - Nani, Tom Cleverley, Wayne Rooney

What a game this turned out to be, Dortmund really went at us and nearly got there reward however we proved just too strong on the night. Antonio Valencia had put us infront but 2 goals in the last 5 mins of the first half from the home side had us going into half time behind. We were level through Tom Cleverley soon after the restart & sub Rooney gave us the lead soon after, Dortmund weren't finished though and they made it 3-3 minutes after Wayne's goal through former Wigan man Amir Zaki. It was us who had the last say however when Wayne Rooney cooly converted the penalty for his 2nd & this time we hung on to nick all 3 points & confirm our place in the knockout stages.

Dortmund 3 - 4 Manchester United

Giggs Fine Display Helps United To 3 Points

4-4-2
Line Up - David De Gea, Chris Smalling, Jonny Evans, Nemanja Vidic, Patrice Evra, Darren Fletcher, Marek Hamsik, Antonio Valencia, Ryan Giggs, Danny Welbeck, Wayne Rooney
Subs Used - Tom Cleverley

Just another day at the office for mt men, Bolton never really looked threatening & it was all down to our fine display on the field. Valencia got himself another goal to open the scoring, it took until the hour mark for us to get the second through MOTM Ryan Giggs. The game was wrapped up 6mins later through Danny Welbeck..bring on City.

Bolton Wanderers 0 - 3 Manchester United

Another Hattrick For Star Man Rooney In Derby

4-4-2
Line Up - David De Gea, Chris Smalling, Jonny Evans, Nemanja Vidic, Patrice Evra, Darren Fletcher, Tom Cleverley, Antonio Valencia, Nani, Danny Welbeck, Wayne Rooney
Subs Used - Rio Ferdinand, Fabio

Inside the first half it was 2-2. Danny Welbecks first minute goal was cancelled out by Yaya Toure & then Wayne Rooney's penalty was cancelled by Sergio Aguero..Evra & Fletcher also went off in the opening 45 giving me problems. Wayne Rooney put us ahead soon after the restart & had the chance to wrap it up from the spot with quarter of an hour remaining but Joe Hart saved superbly & when Ryan Giggs went off injured with 10mins to go, there was panic as i had nomore subs so had to play the final minutes with 10 men. Just as the nerves set in Wayne Rooney went through to tuck away home for his hattrick and 3 massive points against our fiercest rivals.

Manchester United 4 - 2 Manchester City

Kerzhakov Helps Sink Devils In Red

4-4-2
Line Up - Anders Lindegaard, Phil Jones, Jonny Evans, Nemanja Vidic, Zeki Fryers, Michael Carrick, Tom Cleverley, Antonio Valencia, Nani, Danny Welbeck, Dimitar Berbatov
Subs Used - Anderson, Wayne Rooney, Marek Hamsik

With top spot of group B pretty much now secured i decided to field a slightly weaker team ahead of the clash with Chelsea just 3 days later but the home side were the better side on the night. Danny Welbeck put us ahead after just 3mins however Zenit's star man Alexandr Kerzhakov turned the game round & we found ourself behind after 20mins. Neither team could find another goal so we remain 3 points clear at the top but with a much better gd over Zenit, going into the final group games.

Zenit St Petersburg 2 - 1 Manchester United
Having some good results, too bad about losing against Zenit, but you are still on top there so not too much to worry about yet there i bet. How are you doing in PL? could post a screenshot of it.

Perfect League Run Ends At The Bridge

4-4-2
Line Up - David De Gea, Chris Smalling, Rio Ferdinand, Nemanja Vidic, Jonny Evans, Marek Hamsik, Park Ji Sung, Antonio Valencia, Nani, Danny Welbeck, Wayne Rooney
Subs Used - Anderson, Javier Hernandez, Paul Pogba

Not the most entertaining of games to be fair and it showed on the scoreline. Both goals came in the first half, Danny Welbeck put us ahead meeting Antonio Valencia's delightful cross..Chelsea's equaliser came from a corner, John Terry rising above everyone to nod the ball into the roof of the net.

Chelsea 1 - 1 Manchester United
