League Cup Quarter Final draw

Man Utd vs Stoke
Premier League – Tottenham Hotspur (A)

Formation: 4-3-3 (counter)

Line-Up: David De Gea, Chris Smalling, Nemanja Vidic, Rio Ferdinand, Patrice Evra, Antonio Valencia, Michael Carrick, Nani, Javier Hernandez, Wayne Rooney, Federico Macheda
Subs Used: Rafael, Andre Ayew, Danny Welbeck

A thrilling match which ended 3-2 victory to the visitors.

Wayne Rooney gave Man Utd the lead in the 23rd min Emmanuel Adebayor then equalised for Tottenham in the 32nd min. Federico Macheda put Man Utd in front with a lovely chipped from the edge of the box in the 38th min.

A lack of concentration in defence allowed Adebayor to score his second goal and level the score once again in the 65th min. I decided to push the defensive line up and bring on Welbeck for Hernandez. Well it paid off when Wayne Rooney scored what proved to be the winning goal after a delightful cross from Welbeck.

I’m pleased with the result as it is very difficult to play away and to win against a good team like Tottenham is a bonus. A good fighting spirit by Man Utd players.

Man of the Match: Emmanuel Adebayor

It was a night to be remembered for Man Utd fans when their team thrashed Wigan 5-0.

Dimitar Berbatov got Man Utd off to a flying start by scoring a good header from just inside the six yard box in the 6th min. Phil Jones doubled Man Utd’s lead in the 10th min with a fine header from Valencia’s corner.

Ferdinand extends Man Utd’s lead further with a good header in the 23rd min from Ayew’s indirect free-kick. Things got bad to worse for Wigan when Maniche earned himself an early shower for a two-footed challenge on Ayew.

Danny Welbeck then added the lead in the second-half and Jones scored his second goal of the game with a powerful close range effort in the 84th min, again from a corner taken by Park Ji-Sung.

A good match and happy for Berbatov as he finally gets into the game. Hopefully his fine form continues.

I'm looking to sign Lorenzo Crisetig but unsure about his future development because I have never sign him before. Any advise to those who have signed him and what are the areas or training focus you have assigned for him.

For those who didn't sign him, I also appreciate your inputs.

Man Utd had a good start and in the 3rd min, Dimitar Berbatov gave Man Utd the lead by scoring from close range. Lille had a chance to level the score 4 minutes later when they were awarded a penalty but Moussa Sow shot hit the bar.

Man Utd had to defend for the remaining match but David De Gea was equal to the task. Final score Man Utd 1 LOSC Lille Metropole 0.
