Tomas Kalas signs a new five year deal worth 40kpw. Petr Cech signs a two year deal worth 10 million. Fernando Torres signs a two year extension. Yann M'Vila signs a five year deal worth 45 million. Unfortunately veteran leftback Ashley Cole has called time on his career and retired as of the end of the month.

Meanwhile at Euro 2016, Portugal made it all the way to the final and lifted the trophy, whilst our own John Terry was named in the tournament's Dream Team. After a bad display by the England team, Carlo Ancelotti has been relieved of his management duties leaving the England hotseat once again available. Meanwhile at Stamford Bridge I have been offered a new five year deal worth 94kpw which I have promptly accepted after a great five year successful spell with the club already.

Marc-Andre ter Stegen is out for 3-4 weeks with a back injury.
Josh McEachran is also out for 3-4 weeks with a back strain.
Carlos Fierro will be sidelined for about 3-4 weeks with broken ribs.

Chris Borg quits Mexico to take over England national team

"In what has been an expected move, Chelsea & ex-Mexico boss Chris Borg has been offered the England role to succeed Carlo Ancelotti who took the English side to the Euro 2016 Semi-Finals and was knocked out by the Germans. Mexican board have not stood in his way and understood Borg's wishes in managing his own country. The England national team currently stand in 4th place in the World Rankings & haven't won the World Cup since 1966. Borg's first course of action was to confirm that Stuart Pearce, Dennis Wise & Matty Dobson will remain in charge of the youth teams & appointed Eddie Newton as his assistant manager. Borg is thrilled to be given this opportunity & has thanked the Mexican board & team for being so understanding and explained that he had learnt so much during his stay in Mexico during his reign of the national team. Borg will now concentrate on the 2018 World Cup Qualifiers, this time with his new England side which will definitely feature the likes of Phil Jones, Jack Wilshere & his very own Ross Barkley, facing Scotland, Armenia, Lithuania, Serbia & Montenegro in a Group Round Robin stage. England are odds on favourites to top the group and Chris Borg has showed he is more than ready to step up on the national stage now aswell playing the same flowing attacking football we have seen his Chelsea side play in the Premier League & in Europe!"
