Newly signed youngster Neymar is awarded the English Premier Division Young Player of the Month for August. The League Cup Third Round has drawn us at home against Portsmouth.

Mauricio Isla pulled his hamstring and is out for 2-3 weeks.
John Terry is out with a twisted knee for 2 weeks.
Matej Delac is also out of action with twisted knee for 2 weeks.
Alex suffered a slipped disc and will be out for 2-3 months.

For the month of October, loaned striker Daniel Sturridge has won the Player of the Month accolade whilst with Newcastle United, our central defender Jeffrey Bruma has been named Young Player of the month & Fernando Torres snatches the Goal of the Month award with his goal against Aston Villa.

Romelu Lukaku pulled his hamstring whilst on international duty with Belgium & is out for 3 weeks.
Ashley Cole fractured his wrist and will be sidelined for 5-6 weeks.
Ricardo Rodriguez is out for 2-3 weeks with a groin strain.

We have been drawn at home to Crewe Alexandra in the FA Cup 3rd Round. Champions League 1st knockout Round draws us against French giants PSG whom we last met in the Europa League Final of 2011/12. The two legged fixture is definitely going to be something special. Eden Hazard signs a new five year deal worth 24 million. Andres Villas-Boas gets the sack once again, this time from Bolton. Steve Cotterill leaves Portsmouth to take his place. Neymar has won the English Premier League Player of the Month for December whilst I have grabbed the Manager of the Month accolade. Neymar and Petr Cech have also been named in the World Team of the Year for 2013.

Wigan Athletic sack Roberto Martinez and hire Ian Ashbee. Fulham sack Martin Jol & hire Alex McLeish who was just sacked by Stoke. Liverpool sack Kenny Dalglish and hire Louis Van Gaal. Stoke have now hired Tony Mowbray following McLeish's sacking. Sir Alex Ferguson, Harry Redknapp & Neil Warnock retire leaving vacant spots at top teams Manchester United & Tottenham Hotspur. QPR have hired Hermann Hreioarsson to take over. David Luiz, Fernando Torres & Neymar have all been selected in the Players' English Premier League Team of the Year 2013/14. We have finished 2nd in the English Premier Division. Now the Champions League Final against Barcelona !
