A promising signing, who only cost us 35K. I believe Nazarit can contribute to Antwerp's success, and hopefully he will become better as a footballer, he got a rating of 9.90 in one game for his old club.

Peralta looks like a utility beast! Is one of them ready to go straight into the first-team?
Nazarit is going to be your star striker this season - mark my words.

Peralta is going to be used in a rotation system, just not good enough at the minute to be the first team AMR or AML, hopefully will be soon though. Erb and Dudas are currently playing in the first team as they have the quality, but Dudas may get a bit less playing time once Wamfor has recovered from injury.
Update

I'll just say they won the first leg 2-1 and they should probably demand a drugs test because my boys played their hearts out, that is my best result while managing Antwerp. The bad news, Brahmia, my first choice AMR got injured, so Peralta had a chance, however he also got injured.

Update

Now.. I'm all for being optimistic but...

Update

Well I honestly can't complain, the much anticipated defeat. The only positives from these matches would be more exposure in Europe, and a sell-out crowd. Oh.. and £1.82M for losing :))

Update

Arsenal and Metalist being the major competition, Arsenal will obviously be very tough, I'll hopefully pull of a good result against Metalist. I'm hoping to be 2nd in this group.

Update

This will offer an interesting twist to the story I believe, what do you guys think?

In Soviet Russia The Team Manages YOU ! Nice Update though

Thanks guys for a 1000 views on the story! :) I hope your enjoying it
Update

Again, another amazing performance from the lads, they played so well and beating Arsenal will certainly be one of the highlights of this career. I'm not too sure how they do it, but they've beat Panathinaikos, Arsenal and Metalist while being huge underdogs and not even given a chance. We're currently top of our EURO Cup group with 9 points after 3 games. We even had more shots on target than Arsenal in the end B)

Hello there!

I came on this site and saw your title and couldnt believe what I saw.. Somebody playing with my favourite team!! Absolutely great that you took on my home team. I am from Antwerp and in Belgium antwerp is always in the news. They are the oldest team of the country and have massive debts. They have been trying for years to go back to the top league in Belgium but never made because of the chairman being a bit of a gangster and have lots of dirty affairs. Nowadays there is a new chairman who is trying his best to clear the debts and getting in players worthy of the club. He is even in talks with some investors from Qatar to sponsor them like they have done with Malaga FC.

ANYWAY, FM12. Antwerp is almost the only team I play with in FM. I always get rid of the dead wood and try to get them in a healthy financial status with a nice mix of young talents and older class-acts.
I just started a new game with them so lets see how it goes.

One little suggestion for you is, check out the Sao Paolo team out as they are your parent team as well and they can loan you loads of brilliant players. One in particular comes to mind is Canete, an argentinian player who can play in the midfield or attack. Really suggest you look at them as they have a goldmine on talents over there.

BUT you have done amazing with them and will keep following this every day. KUTGW!!

Greetz from a massive Antwerp fan!

Thanks man! I would try to get someone from Sao Paulo but their manager got fired and the new manager cancelled the link, but I'll still look into Canete. Btw, the current chairman is also annoying :)) Won't upgrade facilities at all, he doesn't even want to look for a feeder team, really stressful.
Update

Disappointing news, I can't get onto my laptop with my Antwerp save due to internal capacitor busting in the power pack. I will resume to story as soon as I can, sorry about this :)
