A great manager does not mean he's allowed to pull that smug face every time his team beat or outplay their opponent. It's completely disrespecting the opponent! And he's just a decent not great manager. He hasn't achieved anything with Croatia.

Hopefully thinking of the right player but I thought Behrami of Switzerland played pretty well.

nothing special to be honest. depends though, i have seen him play a few times and was expecting something from him.

depends on the expectations on the players as well.

if you expect too much from a player and he doesnt reach those expectations then he might not have been good for you. but otherwise he might have been the cause for every goal their team scored, for an example.

they are an overrated team. both sweden and holland played shite against russia. thats how russia could 'play that good'.

im not saying russia arent good. they are good. but those 2 matches that they won against sweden and holland was because of the shite performance from the opposition.

I must disagree with that. I, for one, am not a big fan of Russia but having seen their last 3 performances against the better opponents on the paper, they played exceptionally well. Their combative spirit and extraordinary stamina after extra time against Holland, my goodness! You can't just say the opposition played really rubbish therefore they played well. It's negating their effort and I believe credit should be given where it's due. They were the better team at those matches.

But Spain were even better last night! :yes Can't wait to see Spain whoop Germany! =D
