#61704 craborumtoon : There are FAR too many newcastle stories at the moment!!!!!! Someone needs to do something different.

Everyone's Newcastle story is different so its an interesting reading to see what people do differently to others, not everyone will be buying the same players etc so each story will be different, so if you think there's to many then go do a story on another team ?

Have you seen the crazy tactic he is using? :)) [Shane, letme know if it works though]

Ultimately, the club only gives a bit of context and a bag of money for us to go and spend as we see fit. Most of FM is customizable, so yes, while you may largely sign the same players due to the same finances and the same surrounding players, the more you play, the more different your stories will be.

And in ten or fifteen years time, you will all have a separate set of regen players in your first team anyway.

I personally think that threads like this are more about the quality of the story telling behind the game. Just my two cents worth.

Thanks for your support guys. ill show you how the tactic is proving to be in the monthly update of results kiwi . atm im 2 wins from 2 . domination possession in both games
Look - you are doing a great job on this story mate but I would like to some different stories. I don't really enjoy writing stories much because its just a chore having to update it and it takes away from the enjoyment of the game.
UEFA Europa League

Newcastle United vs Red Star Belgrade ( 1-0 )
Toon Army fans were out in force to witness there side take on Red Star Belgrade in the Europa League qualifying round First leg. they would not be disappointed as Newcastle United ran out 1-0 winners in a match Newcastle dominated from the outset, but took a late strike from Davide Santon to ensure they travel to Serbia with a 1 goal advantage

Red Star Belgrade vs Newcastle United ( 0-1 )
The squad arrived in Crvena Zvezda to boos and inappropriate behaviour coming from the Red Star supporters obviously doing there utmost to try and unsettle my squad.
come kick off it was obvious our opponents were going to throw everything at us in order to get back into the tie, and in all honestly had the best of the early exchanges but never cause Tim Krul any trouble. we dominated the rest of the match and as Red Star pushed and Pushed players forward. we caught them on the counter and Demba Ba confidently scored from the edge of the box to end any hopes of a comeback.
after our 2-0 aggregate win against Red Star we have qualified for the Group stage of the Europa League and are eagerly awaiting the draw..
The draw for the Europa League group stage has been made
after looking at the draw i think we should be qualifying for the knockout round. with Inter Milan providing our sternest test in recent times. ill be hoping we pack the Sports Direct Arena for our home matches in order to spur us on

Capital One cup draw
weve drawn Hull City at home in the Capital One Cup and due to fixture congestion ill be looking to filed a younger side to give fringe players a run
Month Summary

only one game in the English Premier League this month due to Europa League commitments, but it was an opening day win for my side who played very confidently to overcome Stoke City.

Stoke City vs Newcastle United ( 1-2 )

Newcastle United have announced losses of $7.5m for the past month, im not worried though because our lack of home games and purchases on new players accounted for most of these losses

heres a round-up of the transfers from the barclays premier league
Davide Santon has been ruled out for 3 weeks after suffering a small cartilage tear during our recent match against Hull City
Good luck in pool play against Inter. You ready to unleash your new tactic against them?

ill be introducing my tactic to the whole of Europe and hope it catches on :P
Gonna charge me royalties to use it in SA? I don't have any wing-backs - and I've just gone crazy finding a right defender!

September Review

English Premier League
Reading vs Newcastle United ( 1-3 )
Newcastle United vs Swansea ( 0-0 )
Fulham vs Newcastle United ( 1-0 )

so after 3 matches this month in the premier league which resulted in a win , loss and a draw we find ourself in 7th place at this early stage in the season

Europa League
Norsdaeland vs Newcastle United ( 0-1 )
Newcastle United vs Inter Milan ( 1-0 )
2 wins from as many games in the Europa League so far. with an outstanding display and result against Inter Milan put us top of our group with 6 points

Capital One Cup
Newcastle United vs Hull City ( 2-0 )

this win puts us in the 4th round of the capital one cup where we will face West Ham United
Board Confidence

fans seem to be happy with the capture of Wellington Nem and his performances have been not far from sensational. but despite the positives the board are quite disappointed with the 1-0 loss to Fulham
Although a loss of ( $3.06m ) we currently sit in a secure financial position.

To summarise the board are very happy with my management of the team
Don't mind the bad comments, in my opinion each and every story is unique and individual. I wish you all the best with this story and I hope that a room full of trophies awaits you like it did for me and many others. Take a look at my story here if you have the time.

Its a work in progress but I'm hoping to raise the standards to Premier Division level.

October

Barclays Premier League
Newcastle United vs West Brom ( 1-0 )
Newcastle United vs West Ham ( 2-1 )
Newcastle United vs Manchester United ( 3-2 )
Tottenham Hotspur vs Newcastle United ( 0-1 )

October proved to be a fantastic month winning all four games in the league and goals are starting to flow which is also a positive. the standout performance would have to be the win against league leaders Manchester United

UEFA Europa League
Borussia Monchengladbach vs Newcastle United ( 0-1 )

only the one game in Europe this month and yet again we recorded a 1-0 win. we currently sit atop our group quite comfortably

Capital One Cup
4th round
Newcastle United vs West Ham ( 4-0 )

an emphatic victory in the Capital One Cup against a poor West Ham. this win putting us in the draw for the Quarter final
so a quarter final tie against Cardiff City awaits us. post your predictions :D.
so 6 wins out of 6 for the month of october which is a great turn around from our last month

its also good to see the press have noticed our performances this month with Shane Swanston getting awarded manager of the month
