Leeds United have pulled off surprise of the summer on deadline day by landing Reading's prominsing scotsman Jordan Rhodes for £3m as well as Fulham's in-form Northern Irish centre-back Aaron Hughes for £2m.
Jordan Rhodes struggled last season at Reading following his transfer from Huddersfield with just 4 goals from 20 appearances, but has started this season brightly with 3 goals in as many games. Aaron Hughes made 167 apppearances during his time with Fulham and scored one goal. He was particularly impressive last season, despite his side going down to the Championship. Both players claimed they wanted to be a part of the Townend Revolution at Leeds United, and are looking forward to taking the club to the Premier League.
AUGUST 2012
Coventry 1-1 Leeds
Leeds 3-1 Chesterfield (Capital One Cup)
Leeds 3-0 Peterborough
Swansea 1-2 Leeds
Leeds 1-1 Reading
Blackburn 1-0 Leeds (Capital One Cup)
The Townend Revolution definitely seems to be well under way, the Whites are unbeaten in the leage so far and put up a solid fight against Blackburn. They should've beaten Reading, but that's football- just have to move onwards and upwards starting the new month with a trip to Cardiff on the 1st.

The downside is he somehow passed a medical despite being injured which means im gonna be without him for a few weeks first.
SEPTEMBER 2012
Cardiff 0-0 Leeds
Leeds 2-0 Huddersfield
Derby 0-1 Leeds
Leeds 2-0 Brighton
Any younger Leeds fans suffering from the start of term blues were given something to shout about- not only are their team now top of the league but they're also unbeaten in 8. With Jordan Rhodes returning to match fitness after recovering from a broken arm, Leeds fans definitely have a lot to look to and finally, this thread is starting to live up to its name.
NB- my brother overwrote my save and after the Cardiff game was all I had left of it (gutted). So I'm going through the matches again and when I complete each month, you will see "*edited" at the start of the post.

OCTOBER 2012
Leeds 2-1 Hull
Burnley 1-3 Leeds
Millwall 1-4 Leeds
Leeds 1-0 Sheffield United
Leicester 0-2 Leeds
A very pleasing month that has seen Leeds reach top spot in the division. Jordan Rhodes returned to full fitness in time for the Millwall game and bagged his first goal in the trip to Leicester. Just 7 games left until we get back to where we were before the game was overwritten...
TOWNEND BAGS OCTOBER AWARD WHILE KELLY GETS NOMINATION
Manager Josh Townend and centre-midfielder Liam Kelly were both listed for this month's awards.
Townend has won the Manager of the Month Award after his side's impressive 100% record over the course of the month whilst Kelly was nominated for Goal of the Month and came third after a sublime 30-yard strike against Burnley at Turf Moor.

NOVEMBER 2012
Leeds 2-0 Nottingham Forest
Middlesbrough 1-2 Leeds
Leeds 3-0 Fulham
Leeds 3-2 Norwich
Another pleasing month for Townend's Leeds with another 100% record for the month as they extend their lead at the top of the table with a 45-36 advantage over 2nd placed Blackpool and 10 points clear ofn 3rd placed West Ham on 35 points. All home wins were particularly pleasing, Nottm Forest coming in front of a full house, Fulham being a bigger side and Norwich having come frombehind twice to win.
