6' Middlesbrough almost took the lead. A great cross from a Guly do Prado free kick found Joe Bennett with a free header. Unfortunately for Boro, the left-back heads it harmlessly over the bar
10' A good breakaway from Leeds goes begging as Robert Snodgrass finds Billy Sharp who from a wide position, crosses the ball into the box but Snodgrass' swerving volley just flashes past the post
11' GOAL! Middlesbrough build an instant breakaway down the left-hand side with Tarmo Kink whose cross finds the boot of Leon Best, who volleys it into the top corner. Leeds 0-1 Middlebrough
13' Martin Taylor has just wasted a glorious opportunity to put Leeds level. Marriappa sent the ball down the right-hand side, Howson picked it up and crossed it to the far post, and Taylor- who normally buries these chances- sent his header over the bar. Still 0-1
32' A great cross from Seb Hines finds Tony McMahon who fluffs his shot straight over the bar
41' GOAL! Jonny Howson whips in a dangerous corner from the right-hand side which is met by the head of Martin Taylor and the ball sails past the helpless Jason Steele and into the top corner. 1-1
58' The attendance has been called out over the PA system. Slightly disappointing for a game of this magnitude, but there can't be too many complaints with a turnout of 31,495
63' Scott McDonald had a great chance to put his side back in front after a lovely ball from Guly do Prado, but the finish wasn't there as the ball sails over the bar. Still 1-1
65' Leeds are now increasing their options in attack, replacing Danny Pugh with Jordan Rhodes, who will accompany Billy Sharp up front
73' Middlesbrough are making a sub with Jonathan Franks replacing Scott McDonald
76' GOAL! A dangerous corner is whipped in by Tarmo Kink and Faris Haroun sends a half-volley into the roof of the net. 1-2
77' Manager Josh Townend has responded to going a goal down by introducing Ross McCormack in place of Aidy White on the left wing. Leeds will now look to push forward with more urgency.
90+1' Billy Sharp has wasted a chance to put Leeds level. Howson put a great ball over the top but Sharp could only screw it wide. Looks like Leeds will have to wait until next week. 1-2
90+3'FULL TIME. Robert Snodgrass has just missed the last chance of the game. The referee called time on the resulting goal kick. Its finished 2-1 to Middlesbrough here, and Leeds will have to wait until next week for their next chance to take the title.
Right so we're coming up to the away game against Fulham. I will provide updates, but only of key incidents. I won't be posting about missed chances unless it was a penalty.
