Great to hear that it worked mate. Hopefully that will spur the boys onto greater success. Good signing, if physical attributes are discounted. If there is any chance, can I possibly get a write up about how Everton have gone. If you could that would be great. Keep it up.

Everton F.C.

http://www.tonyvalentine.com/acatalog/Everton_Logo.jpg

2012 - 2013

EPL:
Everton brought inn Andersson from Man U (€4.9M) and Jonathan Parr from Crystal Palace (€4.9M) but with both Leighton Baines (Man City €21.5M) and M Fellaini (PSG €20.5M) walking out it didn’t help much. The result was a 12th place finish.

FA Cup:
A road loss to Ipswich in the 4th round in late January ended the run for Everton this season.

Capital One Cup:
Everton took Man U all the way to a penalty shootout in the 3rd round but came up just short.

Europe:
N/A

2013 - 2014

EPL: 12th
Without any new players of relevance brought inn this season Everton finished in 12th for the second year in a row but with seven points less this season and a much worse goal differential.

FA Cup:
Everton has a horrible period from middles November to the start of January with just single win in eleven games. One of the low points in the stretch was two losses to Stoke in four days with one of them being in the 3rd round of the FA Cup.

Capital One Cup:
This year the 4th round was the end station for Everton. Chelsea became to big this time but needed extra time to beat Everton at home on Stamford Bridge.

Europe:
N/A

2014 - 2015

EPL:
Chairman Bill Kenwright is getting ready to leave Everton but takeover bits in both January and June fails to produce a solution.
Still Everton used €10.25M to sign Spaniard striker Rubén Rochina from Blackburn. The player with a future at Barcelona turned out to be on of the best Everton players over the nest decade with his 122 goals in 281 appearances.
With 14 wins and 14 losses Everton finished just inside the top-10 (9th).

FA Cup:
After beating Liverpool in the 4th round of the FA Cup Everton had a god chance to advance when playing Burnley in the next round. But a draw at home and a humiliating 1-3 loss on the road ten days later stopped the campaign.

Capital One Cup:
Blackpool, West Ham and Tottenham were disposed of before Everton took on Reading in the quarter finals of the Capital One Cup. It took extra time to find a winner after the game finished 2-2 after 90 minutes. Reading came out on top after a goal by Pavel Pogrebnyak in the 114th minute. Reading lost the semi finals to Swansea.

Europe:
N/A

2015 - 2016

EPL:
The takeover is finally a reality in October of 2015. Bill Kenwright leaves and local businessman Christhoper Holt takes over the club.
The team spends €27M on new players without getting much bang for there bucks. An unexciting 13th place finish in the league does not impress anyone.

FA Cup:
Quality wins against Crystal Palace (5-1), Brighton (4-1), Sheff Wed (2-1) and Huddersfield (4-1) takes Everton all the way to the Semi Finals. 90.000 people at Wembley see Arsenal blow them away with a convincing 3-0 win. After the loss the Everton players goes completely in the tank and loss the remaining five EPL games of the season.

Capital One Cup:
Another 3rd round exit. This time Norwich is the end station after a 3-3 game that is lost after penalties.

Europe:
N/A

2016 - 2017

EPL:
Everton is off to a good start in the league and challenge for a place in Europe for much of the year. Once again the team fumbles it all away in the end and with just two wins in the last eight games the team ends in 11th spot.

Everton finally decided to spend some money this season. The paid West Ham 14M for left defender Neil Taylor. He posted a 7.26 AvR the first year with Everton and 7.23 the year after. In 2018-19 his rating AvR dropped below 7.00 and after the season his was sold to Sunderland for 9M for reasons that will soon be clear.

FA Cup:
When Everton fails to beat West Brom at home in the 5th round of this years FA Cup it’s close to over. On the road a few days later Everton allows two goals without scoring anyone themselves.

Capital One Cup:
A 4th round loss on the road to Sunderland sends them out this season.

Europe:
N/A

2017 - 2018

EPL:
A much better year. For the first time in a lot of years Everton finishes the year with more wins then losses. The 16 wins gives them 8th place in the league but a long way from Tottenham in 7th place.

FA Cup:
Reading is the final stop for Everton this year. In the 5th round Everton fails to take advantage of home field and losses 2-3.

Capital One Cup:
An unlucky draw of Arsenal already in the 3rd round sends Everton packing early this season after an ugly 1-4 loss to the Gunners.

Europe:
N/A

2018 - 2019

EPL:
What a strange year. The start of the season is not good with just two wins in the first twelve games. In mid November Everton losses there fourth straight game, this time 1-2 to Derby and that’s enough to end the career of David Moyes.
His replacement was Reading manager Steve Bruce. With Bruce in control Everton wins their next game against Swansea but soon they started loosing again. Just a single win in the last five games of the season was not enough and Everton finished the season in front of Leicester and Bolton but one point behind QPR.

Everton is relegated !!

David Moyes did get a new job with Wolverhampton. He coached them for two seasons before getting sacked again.

Another side story here is that Everton in the winter transfer window managed to buy on of the best young English prospects seen in a long time. The got Stacey Mason from Derby for €11M. He played with Everton the entire season with a 7.11 AvR.
With the relegation Everton had to sell. The buyer was Olympique de Marseille who paid up 15M to Everton for the young player.
Olympique de Marseille were relegated and after a year in the second France division Tottenham showed up and paid Olympique de Marseille €27M to move Stacey Mason back to England.

FA Cup:
After getting the biggest win in team history with a 7-1 win over Barnsley in the 4th round, Everton was once again up against Arsenal in the next round. The result was the same as previous years Everton lost again.

Capital One Cup:
Now explain this.
Luton, Stoke and Bolten were defeated in the early rounds. Extra time was needed against West Ham in the quarter final.
A surprise 2-0 win in the first leg against Man U gave some hope and a stunning performance in a 2-3 loss in front of 100.000 people in Old Trafford secured Everton a place in the final.
The final was played in Wembley against Tottenham. Two goals in two minutes by Rubén Rochina and Mario Mandzukic was all it took.
Everton had won its first ever Capital One Cup and was qualified for Europa next season !!

Europe:
N/A

2019- 2020

npower Championship:
Everton made no mistakes.
Even after selling players for €43M before the season started and only replacing them with three loan players the team was still good enough to win 30 games and win the npower Championship by a solid nine points in front of Wigan.

FA Cup:
Tottenham got their revenge on Everton for the loss in the capital One Cup finals last season in the 3rd round of this years FA Cup. When Everton lost to Hull the week after in the npower Championship it was just the 3rd time all year that the team lost back-to-back games.

Capital One Cup:
Not much success this season. Due to the heavy match program Everton didn’t put much effort in to defending the title. They just got a single game after a 3rd round loss at home to Stoke.

Europe:
Wins over Shamrock Rovers and Legia Warszawa qualified npower Championship team Everton for the group play in the Europa League. They were drawn against Sporting from Portugal, Besiktas from Turkey and Rosenborg from Norway. Everton got quality wins against Sporting (3-0) and Rosenborg (3-0) early in the campaign but draws at home against Besiktas and on the road against Rosenborg later in the year left them with just 8 points and in 3rd place in the groups.

2020- 2021

EPL:
Back in the EPL Everton gets off to on of the best starts in club history. The teams sends away a lot of backup player with little value and spends €30M in the transfer marked improving the starting lineup. The most interesting player is a 21 year old Swiss player with 16 internationals named Igor Hofer. He joins Everton for €7.5M after scoring 26 goals in 34 appearances for Basel the year before.
In December Steve Bruce decides to leave as the manager of Everton. He has decided to go to Wolverhampton where he will replace a guy named David Moyes who just got sacked.
Portuguese Vitor Pereira is his replacement in charge of Everton. He had spent the last two years in England as the manager for Southampton and Stoke. Getting sacked from both teams in under a year.
The second half of the year under Pereira is ugly. The team wins just three of their last seventeen games and finished the season in 14th place.

FA Cup:
Once again Tottenham gets in the way. This time in the 4th round.

Capital One Cup:
Everton gets a quality win in the 3rd round over Liverpool and follows it up with a 3-0 win over Cardiff in the next round. In the quarterfinal Everton hold Arsenal to a 0-0 draw in the regular 90 minutes only to loss 0-3 in extra time.

Europe:

Wow, another poor performance by Everton in Football Manager. Good to see them qualify for Europe, but terrible to see moyesy sacked and for them to get relegated. Thank you very much for that special write up and hopefully both CD Constancia and Everton can both progress in their respective leagues this season. COYB.
Awesome work on the updates and glad I could catch up! Nice summary of Everton but tough news with the stadium and such a big loan. I know the feeling of what that does but Perez looks like a good player for you!

I will not complain about getting a brand new stadium.
I see it as one of the bigger pieces in the puzzle in catching the big two.
Since being promoted to the LIGA BBVA more than 80% of our tickets has been sold as season-tickets long before the season has even started. Every time we have a sellout we were leaving money on the table.

I am not a big fan of “old” players but hopefully Iñigo Pérez can add something to the team considering his huge (in C.D. Constància scale) salary.
http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q173/Nordskov_dk/CD%20Constancia/CDC_zpsfd0594e5.jpg

39 seconds

I was seriously concerned going in to the second season in the LIGA BBVA. The pre-season had been a total disaster with horrible results against lower league opponents.

The bookmakers didn’t have any fate in us either. 2000-1 were the odds of C.D. Constància winning the title and not even our own players were stupid enough to throw money after that bet.

Before the last game of the pre-season against C.F. Sóller I had to make a decision. I could either go back to the 4-2-3-1 formation we had used with success in previous seasons or I could press forward with the 4-4-2 and hope that the team would adapt on the fly.

Or I could decide to go with something in-between like 4-2-2-2

http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q173/Nordskov_dk/CD%20Constancia/58B_zpsfbfc8994.jpg

It was a bit of a gamble as the formation only worked if we could dominate time of possession and win over the ball high in the field. We would have to press the opponents higher up the field and harass them to make turnovers in the own half of the field.

The four defenders would be asked to do most of the defending themselves and could only relay on the two central midfielders for substantial defensive help.

I had no plans of signing more players before the start of the season but my scouts convinced me to at least take a look at a 22-year old Albanian kid named Andi Qosa. He had played four seasons for Spezia Calcio in the third level in Italy without making much of a difference but still the scouts raved about him and insisted that he was the real deal.

He was now out of contract and we signed him on a 5-year deal with a €6000 per week salary.

Just two days after arriving I decided to give him a chance from start in the last preseason game just to see what I got. After all he had played 11 games for the Albanian national team already.

http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q173/Nordskov_dk/CD%20Constancia/58A_zps70366fc2.jpg

It took him 39 seconds to introduce himself.

Just after kickoff Andi Qosa received the ball around midfield. Not knowing the name of any of his teammates and unable to communicate with them anyway he decided to do it himself. He took the ball down the right sideline past two opponents. He then cut sharply inward toward the edge of the penalty box past another two defenders and from there he cannoned the ball in to the top left corner of the goal.

The clock on the stadium showed 00:39

Not a bad start.......

When the game was over the scoreboard showed 10-0. The biggest win in my time in Inca (even if only in a friendly game)

wow, a good way to introduce yourself indeed. Hope the season goes well and andi qosa can continue that form for the duration of the season
I HAD THE 16600 view!

Once again great update m8 :)
Don't you just love it when that happens? ;)
Great updates mate! That Qosa guy started not bad :P The pre-season counts only for player fitness, now take care of the matches that count and you will do certainly great! :)
A decent pre-season! Hopefully you can get off to a good start in the league

I doubt that he will average two goals a game for the rest of the season but I can live with just one goal within the first minute of every game. :)

I am just happy for every view I get. Thanks for reading

I will disagree slightly. I think pre-season is for a lot more than just fitness.
Learning new formations, cohesion with new teammates is also huge part of the pre-season.

k1rups : A decent pre-season! Hopefully you can get off to a good start in the league
You will be surprised with the next update

Too good to be true

For the first game of the season against Villarreal CF I went with the same team and same formation that had scored 10 goals just a few days earlier. But this time the opponent was a lot stronger, playing Villarreal CF on the road at Estadio El Madrigal.

Still we started out nicely and scored the first goal of the new season after just six minutes of play when Diego Batista put away an Edi Curry free kick that bounced off the crossbar.

The next 90 minutes almost every ball bounced our way. We took a total of fifteen shots with nine of the hitting goal and six of them going in the net. Diego Batista recorded a hat trick and Teodoro Bañares adding another two.

We had now scored sixteen goals in the last two games. This was too good to be true.

http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q173/Nordskov_dk/CD%20Constancia/59B_zpscd206a53.jpg

The next day I went out and picked up a copy of the MARCA and cut out the LIGA BBVA standing from the sports pages. I framed it and placed it in the dressing over the door leading out to the field as the last thing for the players to see before going out for a game, and that’s where it still is today twenty-five years later.

And it still reminds everybody about the first time ever C.D. Constància was on top of the Spanish league system.

http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q173/Nordskov_dk/CD%20Constancia/59A_zps6f2b60e6.jpg

Of cause this couldn’t last and it soon got as ugly as I can ever remember in Inca. The schedule turned brutal and back-to-back games against Real Madrid, Real Club Celta de Vigo and F.C. Barcelona send us inn to a tailspin.

http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q173/Nordskov_dk/CD%20Constancia/59D_zps4f1e2df8.jpg

A player I had high hopes for this season was German AML Edi Curri. While he was still very young he has shown enough on the practice field to be noticed by Xavi. Now he just had to put it all together on the field, something he had struggled to do last season.

Great to see you go top! Unlucky to slip back down after though :(
