October 2011 - 100% record in league...once again

Part One : The Results

Our first game was against Hitchin in FA Cup. Even if I had rested important players we should had won this game and it was a big upset losing 2-1 especially when you open the score after 18 seconds.

We then played against Billericay and won 5-0. We had two goals on pens and the opponent goalkeeper made a great mistake on our third goal, yet it was a great performance.

Next was Dover. We dominated all game but couldn't score until a Reeney header on a free-kick from Spring. We played the last 25 minutes with a men advantage and we scored two more goal to take three more precious points and a seventh consecutive win.

The last game of the month was against Hayes & Yeading. After only 3 minutes we had our 5 penalty of the season and we scored. This was just the start of a incredible performance. We were 4-0 up at half time with a second goal from the penalty spot. In the second half, Banton scored his first goal since joining the club at the start of the month and we finally won 5-1.

October 2011 - 100% record in league...once again

Part Two : Month Overview

For the second month running we won all our league games and we are now setting on top 9 points clear of Farnborough. We scored 13 goals and conceded only 1 in the three game we played and this make us Blue Square Bet South best attack (40 goals) and best defence (10 conceded) after 14 games. Yet I'm disappointed with us going out so quickly of FA Cup. This competition is a good way of making money (we are in a bad financial situation) and losing to a lower league side is unacceptable even with a rotated squad.

Murphy and Reeney were great this month. The first one had 9.0, 8.0 and 8.0 rating in the three league games we played, having two goals and three assist to is name. He also scored after 18 seconds (a new FA Cup record) in the defeat against Hitchin. Reeney was impressive too, snatching four goals in the two game he began and becoming our top goalscorer.

I hope to finish with at least seven point!
We are out of FA Cup so I hope we are going to have a good run in FA Trophy. After our defeat against Hitchin, I really want us to win easy against Chipstead.

All Good!

Bad luck against Hitchin. I can obviously see why you were confident about winning - they are so bad, they don't even have a badge! The money you would've earned would've helped your team, but if you win the league (which looks very likely), it won't matter at all.

I'm not controlling at all our finances and the board pointed this fact to me so I try to make the more incomes possible and I'm not sure winning the league (if we do) will be enough.

Part Three: Bringing More Quality

I brought three new players in the squad this month. The first one was Cassim Banton, a Jamaican right back with great attributes. I didn't notice is age until he joined the team and it was quite a shock but he is doing very well so far.

I then signed José Carlos, a 35 year old spanish attacking midfielder. He have 14 technique and first touch, 12 passsing and great mental attributes. He sould be our playmaker when I use my 4-2-3-1 tactic.

Last but not least was Zied Taïder, a right midfielder who can also play in the axe. Is attributes are incredible and I'm sure he will be one of a keyplayer in the comming months. My scout think he have the potential to be a good Npower League Two player and has he is 24 I hope to keep him until then.

An other player should had come but the transfer has been delayed due to work permit. I really hope we can sign him as he is a big prospect for the future.

Next month I will probably release deadwood and sign backups players on non-contract to increase the squad deth without spending money the week they don't play.

Some nice signings, whenever I see a game with fake players I try to work out who they are meant to be :D Unfortunately, I have no chance here :)
