September 2011 : Seems great!
We started the month with a good 3-1 win to Truro. We had a hard start and they had a penalty, missed by Fahy. After this moment the game changed in our favour and their were no contest to our domination. We then played against Tonbridge. It was a very poor game but we should have scored more. Reenney, coming from the bench, scored the (great) goal.
We then travelled to Eastleigh and we demolished them. The key-player was Pirrie, scoring his four first goals of the season and providing assists on the two others for Dixion and Reeney. Our good form continued with a smashing 4-0 win at Basingstoke. I decided to rest some players, giving chance to others and it worked. Dixion had a hat-trick too and he have now the best average rating of the league.
The last game, against Maidenhead, was quite special. We scored two times in the ninth first minutes so it look like we would smash them like we did in the previous games but they put one back 6 minutes later then they had a penalty at the 25 minute for a foul from Tshepe who missed three minutes later one penalty for us. I didn't understand why he took it as it should have been Dixion. Just before half-time we scored a great goal on the counter. 7 minute in the second half they had a (controversial) penalty (the third of the game) and they didn't miss it, comming back to 3-3. We finally scored the winner in stoppage time (95:36) to finish the month with a 100% record. The heroe is Murphy who already had three assists for our three goals before getting his first goal of the season on the last attempt of the game.
TOP!!!
I use it in every game since the one against Tonbridge as a results of numerous injuries and I think I will keep it.
Derek Dixion, the Blue Square Bet South player of the month, his my keyplayer. He scored 5 goals in the last three games and I'm sure he will had a lot more. Murphy didn't play at the start of the month because he was injured but his two last performances where great with 4 assits and a late winner at Maidenhead.
Fred Moore his the keyplayer of my defence. He his very consistent and didn't go under 6.9 rating this month. Reeney also had a good month. I didn't expect to rely a lot on him but he was very consistent and managed to score in the last 3 games he played.
We scored great goal this month and it was very hard to make a choice.
A dramatic win against Maidenhead.
I'm manager of the month and Dixion is player of the month. Great month!

Southampton and Reading on the podium!
Andrés Hernandez. On the first day of 2011-2012 Premier League, a unknown spanish forward scored a great volley against Sunderland (2-0), helping Southampton to comeback in the top division with a win. One week later his 3 goals against Manchester City (3-0) gain him attention and reputation.
Nearly two month after joining England, Andrés Hernandez is now Southampton's super striker. With seven goal in six Premier League games he is the league top goalscorer and he finished runner-up as September Player of the Month.
But will he stay at Southampton? Even if the League leaders are confident on keeping Hernandez for a couple more season, the player agent say that his client is prepared to engage negocation with any top club showing interest, and there is many club interested in him. The player could go as soon as January but he said that he wants to battle for Southampton until the end of the season so this should solve the problem for a while...
