November/December

Well we have been amazing and we are now right up there at the top of the table.

We have been so good and we are tearing teams apart and this shows with the results. We went 6 games without defeat and that put us right into the promotion hunt. We then dipped slightly and we crashed out of the F.A Cup to Plymouth and I am disappointed about this but to get to the 3rd round is a good achievement in itself.

League Table

It is now us and Plymouth fighting for the 2nd automatic place so it will be a great finalie for the season.

Transfers will be next.

Transfers

We signed some players but none of them are first team players so far.

Wells receives offers from 2 British clubs.

Raith and Birmingham city have offered Eastleigh manager Matt Wells the chance to become their new manager. Matt quickly turned down Raith but it is still to be known if he may join Birmingham city……

Wells rejects Birmingham

Eastleigh FC manager Matt Wells has rejected the offer of becoming Birmingham’s city’s new manager. He says he wants to stay at Eastleigh all of his life and would only leave if a club close to his heart came calling for him.

February/March

We are now entering the tough part of the season and we are knuckling down now to gain promotion.

We did not have many games in February but when we played we were excellent. The Sheffield UTD game we were so good. Oskar Martin hit a late winner to send the Silverlake into raptures. Some more wins followed but against Crawley we were very disappointing and did not deserve our 3 goals.

League Table

We have secured a play-off place but we still look good for the automatic promotion place.

Eastleigh announce Financial Plan

Eastleigh FC have released new plans to help with the financial future of the club. With money being tight in football clubs around England have to make use of every single penny that is made by the club. Eastleigh FC was taken over by Dragon Peter Jones. He has made the club financially stable and also a very competitive force on the pitch.
The first plan of action is to upgrade the stadium by 2000 seats. This will generate more revenue on a match day so for next season Eastleigh FC will be playing at Bournemouth’s Dean Court. If the club make it into the Premier League they plan to build a new stadium that can hold around 20-30000 spectators and that it can be expanded more if the club continues to grow in stature.
Eastleigh owner, Peter Jones has put in £5M into the club to cover running costs until December 2017. Manager Matt Wells will also receive a new contract and around £1M to spend in the transfer market this summer.

These plans will arrive as good news to the fans of the club who are now dreaming of their team playing in the top division. They are now more than happy for Peter Jones to have 100% financial control of the football club so that it can move forward and the Rise of Eastleigh FC will continue for a long long time……
On the verge of the Championship! Good work mate and go and get that promotion!

Cheers mate I hope I can give you guys Championship football next season.

April

The final month of the season started and we had to perform to gain promotion.

We only drew once this month but we won the rest of the games except a defeat to Crawley but was that enough to gain promotion…..

League Table

We had done it. We have reached the Championship and we have been promoted with 90 points and this is a great achievement for this football club and I am so proud of the team.

Thanks Luis.O

I would just like to say thanks to Louis.O for this wonderful new banner he has made for my story.

CHAMPIONSHIP!

This is a great story and I'm sure you will join Premier League very quickly ;)

The Rise

As I stood on the open top bus riding around the small town of Eastleigh I realised what I had done to the town as well as the club. We don’t attract big crowds but those who turn up were true fans. We are playing in Bournemouth for most of next season so it will be tough for fans to get there. We are now one step closer to the dream. The Promised Land. The Premier League. I looked into the people that had come out today to celebrate the promotion. They were so proud of their little football club. Four years ago we were in the Blue Square South. Non-League football. The bottom of the bottom and now look. Championship football next season. I doubt we will be a major force but teams better watch out because the Rise of Eastleigh FC is not over yet……
