only just found the story but I actually used to play for Eastleigh academy and youth teams when I was younger and still know a few of the players and have been through all the facilities including the changing rooms and everything so if you need to know anything about the club that could help your story then just ask

May, Finally

This month we have been very poor with some unexpected results.

We started the month with a home win against Dorchester we held on for a 3-2 and the 3 points only meant one thing. CHAMPIONE CHAMPIONE OLE OLE OLE. We had done it we had won the title. We then had 2 disappointing draws at Hornchurch and Bath. We then suddenly dipped as we lost to Tonbridge at home in disappointing fashion and they went 3-0 up in 10 minutes. We finished the season with a good 3-1 victory over welling. We now have the financial backing to move forward and the club have to expand the stadium to fit league requirements so next season we will be playing at Southampton’s St Marys Stadium.

Final League Table

We finished the season as champions by 12 points and we look forward the next season in the Blue Square Premier.
Next Update: End of Season Review/Player Awards.

End Of Season Review

We have been outstanding this season and I want to carry this on into next season. With the new owner at the club we can take it far and it is a joy working with him. The team’s performances have been incredible and we have had some good results. We did not do too well in the cups but this year I aim to get to the 3rd round of the F.A Cup and try to get to the Quarter finals of the F.A Trophy. The fans have been excellent and have backed me 100% and I now want to give them great football. We will not be playing at the Silverlake Stadium until March but we have a wonderful temporary home at St. Marys Stadium and we are thankful for Southampton letting us borrow their magnificent ground.

Final League Table

Player Of The Season

Oskar Martin
This is the signing of the season. We took a risk signing Oskar for £28K from the Spanish 4th division but it paid off. Oskar scored 23 goals last season and I believe he can improve that next season and win us back to back promotions.

Young Player Of the Year

Chori
This guy hasn’t got great stats this season but his performances have been excellent. He has scored great goals and has got a few assists and I look forward to a better season from him.

With the new owner in we have been given £160K to spend on transfer and around £15K to spend on wages. I want to get into the top half and see if I could make the play off.

Thank you for reading Season 1 of Eastleigh FC- The Rise it has been a pleasure to write this story for you and wish me look next season. Thank you.

Pre-Season Update

We had some great results the Pre-Season and we made some money off of the friendly’s.

We started with a spirited performance against Crystal Palace at our new home for 8 months and we managed to score 2 goals. We then beat Dorchester 2-0 with a great performance from Oskar Matin. We then played Southampton in a game at our home which was their home. We only lost 3-2 and that is a great result for a club of our stature. We then put in a disappointing performance against Crewe and their quality shone throughout the game. We then thrashed Maidenhead 4-1 and we were excellent throughout. Next up was Bournemouth where we were ran all over. We were never in the game at all.
The squad is almost ready and we can’t wait to start the season.
Next Update: Transfers.

August, Starting Well

We have started the new season well and we have battled to get results out of games.

We started the season with a good win at the ST. Marys Stadium against Kidderminster. Oskar Martin started the season in fine form by netting a brace. We then had to go to Bristol Rover who are on paper the strongest team in the division. We were winning 2-1 but they equalized in the 93 minute. We had stolen their 2 best CB so to get a draw away from home is a great result. We then battled away at Southport but we could not get the win but Oskar Martin hit another goal. After this we played another strong team, Cambridge and we beat them. We dominated the game and never looked like losing. We played Braintree after and we were 3-0 down but we clawed back to make it 3-3 and they missed a penalty in the 89th minute. We then headed to bottom of the league Harrogate and Oskar Martin won us the game in the 5th minute.

League Table

We are sat 1 goal out of the play offs which is a great start in my opinion. If we keep this up we could have a great season ahead.

Player of the Month

Oskar Martin- Has scored 5 goals already and looks set to be a legend at the club.

September, Oh deer

This month has been awful with only 1 win out of 7.

We started the month with a good 0-0 draw against Forest Green. We could have won it but we are happy with a point. We then had another 0-0 draw at Aldershot. This was a great result as they were a League 2 club last season. The only win of the month came at home to Hereford and a 3-0 win was enough to see Hereford off. Another 0-0 draw followed against Wrexham. We should have won this as they were down to 10 men and we dominated the game. A disappointing defeat to Gainsborough followed. The performance was disgraceful. Another defeat followed to Afc Telford. Ben McKenna got a goal but it was not enough. We then played Macclesfield at home and lost again. We could have snatched a draw but it just wasn’t made to be.

League Table

We have now dropped into Mid-Table but a good October could re-ignite our promotion hopes.

Non-League Day

Here this weekend at Sky Sports News we will be focusing on the lesser known clubs of the beautiful game. With the top 2 divisions off due to International games fans across the country have begged fans to come along and watch their local side. This weekend we are here in Southampton. Just outside of the town lies a small club named Eastleigh FC and we are heading there for a look around the ground. Being shadowed by Southampton and Portsmouth, Eastleigh don’t have much claim to fame but having recently being taken over by Peter Jones and having a young manager in charge Eastleigh were promoted to the Blue Square Premier. They play their games at St. Marys Stadium due to their ground the Silverlake Stadium being re-developed. With Peter Jones money being invested into the club Eastleigh seem to have a bright future and we got an interview with manager Matt Wells,
“Well I love it here at Eastleigh. The fans are so nice and I have a great relationship with them. I had a small bother with the last Chairman but since Peter came in I have had a great backing. We won the league last year and we were 12 points ahead of the rest so there was a big gap. We are doing well so far this season and we are looking to build on that and we might have a shout for a promotion bid.”

We now headed to the boardroom to see owner Peter Jones,
“I am happy to be working on the project here at Eastleigh FC and I love coming here and speaking with Matt and the players, it has a great feel around the place and I want to be part of this club for a long time. We are developing our ground at the moment but we are grateful for Southampton letting us play for free at their ground”.

With Eastleigh having a great chance for a second successive promotion, you better look out for Peter and Matts flying spitfires.

Newport County approach Wells

Newport County FC have offered manager Matt Wells the chance to be Newport’s new manager.
Eastleigh fans are hoping Matt Wells stays loyal to the club and does not move to Newport to become their new manager…………

Wells shuns Newport

Eastleigh manager Matt Wells has rejected Newport County’s offer of becoming their new manager. Wells said they are a scandalous club and whoever takes the job is a nutcase. Matt in the past has shown a disliking to Newport as he in fact does not like Welsh People (True Story). He said he would rather live in a shed in Afghanistan than move to Wales and is said to be very happy at Eastleigh and has re-assured fans he is not going anywhere.

October, BOOOO YAR

This month we have found our form again and we are soaring up the table again.

We kicked off the month with a great comeback against Ebbsfelet. I brought on young regen Richard Taylor and he got 1 assist and then scored the winner in the 94th minute. We then drew away to Grimsby. This is not the worst result in the world but its 2 points dropped in my opinion. We then played top of the league Havant and we lost 1-0 at home. We deserved to win or at least get a draw. We bounced back well and thrashed Barrow and we left them to dry. Oskar Martin broke his goal drought with a brace and Tom Shaw finished them off. A draw against Lincon followed with McLaughlin getting on the scoresheet. We then played Newport the team I rejected and we thrashed them. Young Star Richard Taylor scored a Hat trick and we as a team were brilliant. A solid performance against Hyde followed and this ensured 3 points and a 2-0 win.

League Table

We have now shot right up the table and we are just outside the play-offs.

Player of the month

Richard Taylor- The young star has scored 4 in his first 4 games and is going to be a great player in the future.
I would just like to say guys I am really enjoying this save and I want to take Eastleigh all the way so from now on I am 100% committed to this save and I hope you are all enjoying the story.
Please comment ideas I could use to improve the story and make this more enjoyable for you to read.
Thankyou.

November, Up and Down

This month has been up and down and the results have shown.

The month started with a good win against Farnborough in the F.A Cup. We dominated the game and the 5-2 score line showed this. Another good win followed against Dartford followed and the 1-0 win was good enough for me as points are all that matter now for me. We were knocked out of the F.A Cup by Southport. This was a disappointing defeat and I was very unhappy to be out of the F.A Cup at this stage. We responded well with a good result against Gateshead in the league to propel us up the table and continue our fight for promotion. We then knocked out Dorchester in the F.A Trophy with Oskar Martin scoring in the 91st minute. We then battled for a 1-1 draw away to Stockport. A good game for the neutral but I am not too disappointed about the result. We then played Kidderminster and this was another cracking game. It was 1-1 but we fell away in the last few moments.

League Table

We now languish just outside the play offs and we were 3rd at one stage this month.

Intentions for the story

I am willing to take Eastleigh all the way to the PL and beyond. I am ready to go full on into this save until the next FM. I am looking forward to doing this and building the club up from nothing and that is what I love doing. But I need your full support and I can’t do it without you guys as I have already thought of throwing in the towel but I am now ready to take Eastleigh to the top. All I ask is you help me to do this by giving me encouragement and support by commenting.
Thanks guys.
