The first game you didn't win this season :o Still topping the table though and Destro still scoring great work in the Champs League though easy qualification. One more point and you're top. Nice update as always neal
[FM13] Giuseppe Bergomi - The King of Calcio
The story of an Inter Milan legend taking his club back to the top of the world.
11 wins in a row is amazing! Shame about the Geno result though. Oh well, I'm sure the title will be over and done with by March
k1rups: Yeah I'm a bit bummed, but we are still top and undefeated, that's what matters.
Rablador: Cheers buddy, but 11 wins is nothing, 16 is my record at Inter haha. It was a tough draw against Genoa, but I hope you're right and the lads wrap up the title quickly so we can focus on the CL

International Break
We had just one match in this short international break, a home Friendly match against Slovakia. I expect that we should be able to defeat a side of that caliber with relative ease, considering we are currently ranked 5th in the world, and hopefully we can continue my 100% record in charge of the Danes.Squad Selection
In my opinion the squad is very strong and we have picked the best players available. Nicolai Jorgensen has made only one appearance for Tottenham this season, which I only realized after selecting him, and so he will most likely warm the bench against Slovakia and then be dropped unless he can start playing once more.
Denmark 3-2 Slovakia
Friendly
Starting XI: (4-3-2-1) Schmiechel; Wass, Bjelland, Kjaer, Juelsgard; Poulsen, Zimling, Kvist, Eriksen, Anderson; BendtnerJorgensen, Krohn-Dehli, Fischer, Helenius
Juelsgard, Zimling, Anderson, Bendtner
Eriksen (6, 73)
Kvist (42)
Sebo (67, 90+1)
Christian Eriksen
We attacked very well, and this was exemplified by Christian Eriksen's performance. He absolutely bossed the midfield, and managed to score a stellar two goals from behind the striker. Our defending was poor, however, and Juelsgard may have lost his spot due to his errors that led to goals today. Overall, I am pleased with the win, and especially with Eriksen's individual performance.
Note to Readers: I think I will start doing monthly updates for Inter in this fashion as well. Do you guys like this better, or should I stick with the old one? Your input is greatly valued, so please help me out!

2013-05-27 19:40#105716 Shanked : Good result against Slovakia bar your defense.
Cheers buddy, our defense needs to tighten up, but at least we have a top class gamechanger in Eriksen
A good win, Eriksen certainly is a world-beater. As to the style of updates, do what you think is best, I like it either way.
Nice win! Eriksen looks quality
Great result for the Danes. You're flying with Denmark just like Inter. Could we see Denmark holding the World Cup with Bergomi as manager??
Cheers you two, and Krupesh, I want to stay with Denmark until WC2018, and then if things go well I might stay longer
Milan Ready for Derby Night
Tomorrow will mark the Serie A season's first Derby della Madonnina, the battle of the two eternal rivals of Milan; AC Milan and Internazionale. The Nerazzurri have far been the superior side in this duel since Giuseppe Bergomi took the reigns, having won 3 of the last 4 encounters, the other match ending in a draw. Inter have also dominated the domestic scene since Bergomi's arrival, winning the last two Scudettos without losing a single match, and are heavy favorites to again defeat Milan. It has been a story of stability these last few years in Milan. Inter has experienced great success having stuck to ex-captain Giuseppe Bergomi, who has delivered many trophies, whereas Milan have been the polar opposite. Max Allegri was sacked at the end of the 2012-2013 season for finishing a dismal 6th, and his successor was Jurgen Klopp. The passionate German also lasted a season, delivering a far improved 3rd place finish, before resigning from his post to take over the German national team. His successor, Didier Deschamps, lasted a mere 4 months in the job before being fired for languishing in 8th, and 11 days ago new boss Ernesto Valverde took over the team.
Milan boss Ernesto Valverde.
Milan, however, have fewer injury worries than Inter going into the derby. Explosive right back Ignazio Abate and central midfielder Blerim Dzemaili are both out with injury for the Rossoneri, but Inter will miss three of their biggest players: Bergomi will be without star defender Andrea Ranocchia, French holding midfielder Yann M'Vila, and arguably his best player in Philippe Coutinho.
Valverde is expected to start De Sciglio in the place of Abate, and will likely call on a youth player to take Dzemaili's spot on the bench. Bergomi is expected to start veteran Esteban Cambiasso in the holding role, Adryan in the advanced midfield role, and will select either Ibrahima Mbaye or Emerson Luiz to partner Juan Jesus in the center of defense.
Mattia Destro will be the key for Inter, as the young Italian has scored 11 Serie A goals thus far, and 18 in all competitions. Albiol and Bocchetti, though quality defenders, will have their hands full trying to contain Destro and his strike partner Ademilson. Inter will also have to be wary, however, of the pace of Alex Pato, and behind him the game-changing abilities of Kevin-Prince Boateng.
Inter top scorer Mattia Destro.
In his pre-match press conference, Valverde told the press, "Inter have gone over two seasons without losing in Serie A, but I think this year their team is weakest and a team of our caliber can certainly claim an important victory today."
Bergomi responded an hour later during his press conference, saying, "Valverde's team is in 8th place right now, and we are in 1st. I do not doubt that it will be a difficult game, and Milan may very well win all three points, but to say this is the weakest Inter team of my reign is laughable. He can reassess our team after the match."
Good luck mate. Good update

AC Milan vs. Inter Milan
Akash: It's a Beautiful Day for football, don't you think Bono?
Bono: Aren't you original. Let's take a look at the starting lineups for both sides today.
Akash: A good side put out from both managers, clearly both teams are ready to risk life and limb to win today. This derby is perhaps the biggest in all of Italy, and it will be a hot-tempered clash. Great football will be on display, certainly better than you'd see Vauxhall Motors ever playing.
Bono: I swear to God Akash... But yes, it should be a cracking game. Looks like the sides are ready for the kick, and we're off!
8' Akash: Here comes Antonio Nocerino down the field for AC Milan. He chips it forward for Gaitan, nice header down to Pato, who's through on goal...
Bono: What a block by Juan! And follow up by Boateng...another block from Juan! The young Brazilian clears it off the line twice, as Handanovic was beaten!
Akash: Milan are finishing like Obi Anoruo and Leroy Lita out there, they need to step things up in front of goal and they'll have the lead.
Scuffling noises as Bono strikes Akash.
44' Bono: Forward comes Adryan for Inter, who've been penned back most of the half.
Akash: Long ball into Ademilson, who lays it down for Destro...WHAT A FINISH! DESTRO SCORES!
Bono: Wonderful play from Ademilson with his layoff, and a stunning strike from Destro to give Inter a 1-0 lead heading into the break!
Akash: Thank goodness it wasn't someone as terrible as Euan Smith in that position!
Sounds of a knife being drawn, multiple stabs.
Bono: That'll teach you to mess with Vauxhall!
HT' Tom Jones: We go now to myself, Tom Jones, and actor Ben Aflick to commentate on the remainder of the match due to the unfortuante death of Akash V... Vidas... Vidya... our dear friend Akash.
Ben Aflick: There are more important matters at hand here than Akash, Inter lead at the break 1-0 after a goal on the stroke of halftime! Milan have had the better of the game, and we may well see a comeback.
69' Tom: Robinho's got the ball out on the left, what a flop of a player.
Ben: Well he's done well here to beat Peruzzi, he's dribbled into the box..WHAT A GOAL! ROBINHO SCORES A MAGNIFICENT INDIVIDUAL GOAL!
Tom: He absolutely dribbled through all of Inter's defense and finished with aplomb! 1-1, game on!
89' Ben: It's Robinho out on the left once more, looking dangerous. He's caught Peruzzi out of position, and he's got space to work with.
Tom: Poli's covered quite some space to close him down, goes in for the tackle...ref's blown his whistle. Poli's got to be careful, he's already been booked...
Ben: And he's off! Second yellow! Well well well, could this be a late chance for Milan!
Tom: My dear, look at the replay! Poli's gotten the ball here, and Robinho has thrown himself to floor as if he's been stabbed like Akash! Torrid acting, but it's worked.
Ben: It's disgraceful to the game, it really is, but on we must go, Inter down to 10 men.
90+2' Tom: Well, I said he was a flop earlier, and he definitely has flopped today, but his overall play has been perfect, Robinho. Here he comes again, cutting in from that left hand side and bursting up the field.
Ben: Great sliding challenge from Emerson Luiz in the box...No! It's a penalty! My oh my, I'm almost certain the ref's got this one wrong! The Inter players are swarming the ref to protest, they can't believe it!
Tom: Let's look at the replay, and you were right Ben, the challenge was right on, and it was another dive from Robinho. I think even the AR's are shocked this one's been called, it was quite clear.
Ben: Up steps El Shaarawy to take the penalty for Milan, to win the Derby della Madonnina for the Rossoneri...HE SCORES! HE SENT HANDANOVIC THE WRONG WAY! MILAN 2-1 INTER!
FT' Ben: And it's all over here! Milan win 2-1 with a late, late penalty from El Sharaawy the winner in a classic derby match! Your man of the match, Tom?
Tom: Well, we've got two choices today, the referee or Robinho. Robinho for his excellent play but honestly more so for his play-acting which won a red card and a penalty, or the referee for being so poor as to fall for that play-acting.
Robinho: Footballer or Diver?
