Serie A

We have started perfectly and we have opened a good 4 point lead over Juventus already. We need to improve our goal differential, which Juventus always seems to beat us in, but as long as we keep our distance at the top, we will be fine. Destro is also the top Serie A scorer with 10 goals :)

UEFA Champions League

It's a bit early to jump to conclusions, but it looks as though Galatasaray and ourselves have already qualified. We have thoroughly beaten each team so far, and if we keep our form up, we should easily qualify from this group.

Player of the Month

Mattia Destro
Mattia has been a wonderful player. He scored a massive 7 goals in our 4 games this month, and has been in unstoppable, Messi-esque goalscoring form. If this continues, he is certain to help the team win many trophies as well as achieve many personal accolades. This is his third Player of the Month award in a row, proving his amazing season.

Monthly Review

Another perfect month in which we won every game, and we are 100% in all competitions this season. We struggled against Atalanta, missing our Brazilian trio of Ademilson, Coutinho, and Juan, but after that we found our feet once more to win thrice 3-1. We do need to keep more clean sheets, but offensively 10 goals in 4 games is excellent. A good month, if short, and November holds a massive 8 matches, so we must be prepared.
Very good in depth update, I will be looking forward to the future and will be reading more.

Great month there for you mate stretching your lead and building on a brilliant start in both Italy and Europe. Destro is on fire! Looking forward to your transfer update ;)

Lose?? What is this 'lose'? I don't even remember what the media keeps calling a 'draw'! :P

Interview with Mattia Destro

Three seasons ago, Mattia Destro had a torrid season with Roma, netting only thrice in 23 appearances. Roma did not take their option to purchase Destro, and Genoa did not renew his contract due to poor form, and so the young Italian was free to move to whichever club would take him. It was here that Giuseppe Bergomi signed Destro on a free transfer, and the striker paid dividends immediately. Destro scored 18 goals to lead the team last season, and this season has already 17 goals in 14 appearances. We sat down with Inter's new talisman yesterday and had a chance to ask him quite a few questions.

Reporter: Hello Mattia, thank you for letting us ask you a few questions today.

Destro: No worries, go ahead.

Reporter: You've had a scintillating start to the season, having scored a massive 17 goals in all competitions, and you lead Serie A with 11 goals. What's been the secret to your success this season?

Destro: I think that this season I have really settled in with my teammates and now that we have such a good understanding, I have been scoring more. Addy [Ademilson] and I have worked really well together, and hopefully I can continue to score goals and help the team for the rest of the season and beyond.

Reporter: What is your relationship with Giuseppe Bergomi?

Destro: He is a great guy, he's really helped me further my career. After I left Inter's youth teams, I never had an extended stay to prove myself at a club, so the fact that he gave me this chance is huge for me. He's really taught me a lot, and I hope to keep learning from him as I grow as a footballer.

Reporter: Who's your best friend on the team?

Destro: I'd have to say Yann [M'Vila]. He's a great guy, always encouraging to everyone at the team, and he's a top footballer. I've been helping him with his Italian, and he's even been teaching me bits of French, for the ladies.

Reporter laughs.

Reporter: Moving away from football a little more, what is your favorite band?

Destro laughs.

Destro: You will ridicule me for this, but I have to be honest, I love Justin Bieber. For some reason listening to his music before a game really puts me in the mood.

Reporter laughs for around two minutes straight.

Reporter: Well, whatever works, right? Thanks for speaking with me today, and good luck for the season!

Destro: Thank you.
undefeated nice results, looking good and Destro is looking awesome for you
Bieber xD put his head on a stake! Haha a great little interview there nice update
Cheers you two, and yeah krups, Destro's got quite the taste in music right :P

November: Part One

Catania 0-1 Inter (Serie A)
Mattia Destro (20')
Emerson Luiz

Galatasaray 0-1 Inter (UCL Group G)
Ademilson (90+3')
Alvaro Pereira

Inter 2-1 Novara (Serie A)
Mattia Destro (pen 15')
Ademilson (16')
Luigi Georgi (23')
Mattia Destro

Genoa 1-1 Inter (Serie A)
Mattia Destro (29')
Lucas Pratto (55')
Yann M'Vila

Serie A

Our lead has dropped to only 2 points after our unfortunate draw against Genoa. We need to keep picking up points to win our third straight Scudetto, as even with the draw this has still been a spectacular season.

UEFA Champions League

With our win against Galatasaray we put ourselves in definite command of the group. We have already qualified, and now our sights are set on capturing first place in Group G.

Player of the Month

To be announced when the actual end of November update is given.

Monthly Review

I have split this month into two pieces as there is an international break at this point. This month made me draw comparisons to my first season in charge of Inter, though this time for the wrong reasons; our scoring ability was poor. We were lacking in front of net and won each game by only 1 goal, and then wasted many opportunities against Genoa. We need to find away to recapture our defensive form from season 1 and our attacking form from season 2 and combine that. Tactics may be the issue, and I have been looking into some alternatives. We start back after the break against rivals AC Milan. I can't wait to win the derby yet again!
Nice! Champions League seems to go very well. I have no idea about the other teams but you can win the whole thing!
You've done good in the league as well, but you might want to invest in good striker though. Don't want to lose the league on goal difference.. -.-

I am pleased to inform you that I have given you your first 'Thank You'! :)

And I don't think it's my strikers, as Mattia Destro has 19 goals in 16 apps, but rather our strategy as a whole has been to safe. I am looking at some new tactics to try out come January when I can make some new signings to fit my system. Thanks for reading buddy :)
