Star defender Andrea Ranocchia and others will miss out due to injury.
Giuseppe Bergomi has selected his 23 man squad to face Latvia and Slovakia in World Cup Qualifying matches later this month, and he has been forced into a making one or two surprise inclusions due to injuries to very important players.
Inter Milan superstars Mattia Destro and Andrea Ranocchia are both out, causing Bergomi some trouble both at the club and international levels. Adding to the striker crisis is Porto's clinical scorer Fabio Borini, who has only recently picked up a knock to keep him out of the squad.

Bergomi has selected 3 of his own club players from the Nerazzurri, choosing Insigne, Andrea Poli, and Giuseppe Bellusci to be available for the forthcoming matches.
